I do hope you're correct, I'll happily £10 to a charity of your choice.... Have a good evening.
Morning.. Roller1, Baylan will be gone before “Kurt” Budge.. Tenner to charity? Take care..
I'll cast my vote of no confidence in Kurt...
I suppose because the amount allocated to Vardar was adequate for this stage now, so why throw more in? Obviously commanding a one per cent increase in our stake was also deemed fair, even though it may not seem so to shareholders. I don't know how these valuations have been struck each time we've allocated cash to Vardar, but it's a question of trusting in Kurt's judgement on that.
There, I've opened the door for you Lb. Lol.
If Budge gets mugged again, surely the 50% barrier will be breached? Why not this time?
Kosovo corrupt,yet Sweden is.....?
Where's Suzy? I'm sure she can find something positive in the RNS.
Considering it's one of the most corrupt countries in europe it would be interesting to know what the other 50.6% are putting in ...... or taking out?
Delays aside, this was outlined in the capital raise. The RNS dated the 6th November 2020 clearly stated that 22% of the capital raised, namely £719,000 would be invested in Vardar to pursue “The drilling of exploration targets”.
Today's RNS left me cold.
Next!
Good thoughts, Hastyretreat. But even at the richest imagination it is impossible to presume that such an impotent CEO can be a daddy.
Daddy Kurt can I have some cash, cos it's not my fault the government people don't want to play and won't give me my ball? A bit like your friends in Sweden. Oh wait they took the goalposts, moved the pitch and changed the game, but you have kept on saying for 6 years that you hope for and expect a concession. Don't worry daddy Kurt you can mug those shareholders off a while longer with some wiff of news from Finland and doing a report in Sweden. Tell me daddy Kurt how are you still in a job, as you keep stringing these shareholders on with talk of a busy and exciting year after taking more of their money, yet don't really look like you have achieved very much or delivered anything and still get some free shares.
And Budge continues to get mugged over in Kosovo. Delays in application. Sounds familiar.
What is the opposite of the Midas touch?
It sounds like history repeating itself!
Vardar now valued at £10 million and the only income generated is from BEM with every fund raise, and we still haven't got overall control..... But do we really want it, can we achieve it or will Vardar's directors look elsewhere for funding from now on, issuing more shares in the process?
Budge has never told the owners of BEM (that's us BTW) his long term plan for Kosovo.
A lot of ifs and buts in that rns. I hate it when the caveats are the prominent part of the message.
You couldn’t make it up
Yes, FarEnd, of course we are on the same side...I'm just saying. :-)
Those figures may be pretty meaningless to you Suzy, that's because you're looking at the perspective from a local level.
Me, I'm just trying to justify my original post that you questioned, which was, "Mining doesn't usually take a high profile during national elections, it tends to be and remain a local issue," I'll stand by that.
As for LKAB, totally irrelevant, I've no idea of their business plan, governments always want more and be in control.
The north south divide is not the preserve of the UK, it's even more prevalent in Sweden, hence the need for Jokkmokk to reduce their budget. It's been in decline for years. It's difficult to stop the movement of people not only in Sweden, in fact the EU positively encourage it, :~) but you know my views on the EU.
Don't forget, we're on the same side here Suzy, in that we both want this concession granted, then I'll never invest in anything Swedish again lol.
And if they're so well off why does Jokkmokk have to reduce their budget.
Those figures are pretty meaningless to me...why has LKAB been spending money looking to secure their future iron ore resources if they've already got plenty.
Certainly useful info Farend, however I'm not sure that the people of Jokkmokk feel there's is much that's more interesting. The question is what influence can they bring to bear
the far end very interesting figures thank you,
"Will they be backward and reactionary with the MP Party and look to recycling and imports for their metals".
That's what you'll get with the Greens Suzy, if they had their way we would all be running around in sackcloth.
Sweden's steel imports amounted to SEK 31billion versus 46billion exports, June 2021 figures.
Sweden remains #32 in world crude steel producing countries at 4.4 million tons, a figure that has remained largely unchanged for the last 11 years, (overall EU figure nearly 140 million tons).
As for the imports of their metals, currently they have a c15 SEK billion excess, so by that metric, mining is not a national issue, hence my comment, "for most, there's more to worry about than a mine outside of Jokkmokk"
Morning All. I think it has broader implications than that, Far End...it's about whether or not Sweden will continue to be a mining nation, do they want to move forward with green technology or will they be backward and reactionary with the MP Party and look to recycling and imports for their metals.
Mining doesn't usually take a high profile during national elections, it tends to be and remain a local issue.
For most, there's more to worry about than a mine outside of Jokkmokk.
Just saying.
