Both have the same market cap £14.81 mill, strange perhaps SEVUS will have them both??
No need to get on the brandy just yet. I have a feeling the fun will start towards the end of this week .
Yes I did LOL, Just tried to get back in here hoping for sub 16p but it offered me 17.2.
is having a bad start to the week.
I am reporting johnga to LSE for blatantly deramping on this bb for the purpose of trading. Every time a poster posts on this board, johnga deliberately engages them for the purpose of deramping TAN. He states quite clearly that ''I don't and have never 'invested' in Tanfield but I do trade it.'' So the purpose of his posting is clear. Every person has a right to post their opinions. But when those opinions are designed to deliberately put people off trading a share, then I believe that is against LSE rules. johnga is a clever person, but lacks moral dignity.
Sorry but I must agree with Westsider. I do not like a lot of this company as you know but I am still tied in here and still have confidence in the future. Sadly your incessant Negativity is killing this board like the iii one. I suspect that you are motivated by a desire for vengence, that must be the justification to spend so much time knocking this company. If it were so poor just walk away. Surely you are posting for a reason ? Are you trying to warn others away ? Did you lose your shirt in the 2008 slump and are now annoyed that the Company survived ? Will you please give it a rest, believe it or not, we are not gullible fools... we may have been to get involved here in the first place, I grant you that, but the fact that we are still here and there are too many of us to count means we believe this Company has a future despite the best efforts of its own Board. Constructive comment yes..incessant sniping, no thanks. Best Regards. - Eastern
...you are funny...! The trouble with bulletin boards is they're made up of people who only want to hear one thing! Confirmation that their selected trade is secure. Anyone who posts an honest view that goes counter to that is quickly considered renegade and subversive. When I started my business some 23 years ago my family and friends said 'Don't do it! Think of your family and the risks it entails.' Basically no one I knew backed me...that is except my customers! So you see where I come from in my comments. In fact any adversity confirms I'm probably right in my view! Good luck to you, westy - for some reason I had anticipated a degree of like-mindedness for some reason. By the way TAN 17p - down again! Me wither and die?! You'll be lucky!
monty, If you are in uk, then I believe you are talking about Kevin Harkin Fleet 'Sales' Director. Kevin Harkin, Sales Director, Smith Electric Vehicles
What 'fleet', exactly, is this so-called 'Fleet Director' responsible for?!
There is. Just because you have not found him on google don't presume there isn't one.
There is no SEV Fleet Director.
Can I come?
My typo error correct sev. Not tan was what I meant
There is no Tanfield Fleet Director.
Please tell me questions i can ask the fleet director of tan next friday as he and his wife are attending a party that myself and my better half are going to..I have just read this post back to myself and it looks like pure and utter bulls sit but 100% true . Got a few of my own, but you guys can add.. 100% genuine honest post.. Why im doing this i dont know but who cares..btw just serious 1s jon lol..
little punt. way i see it is they will have a sig hike if they got bought. or i will lose my grand if the go bust. will play out quickly either way
Myo, I've not been one to go along too closely with your views. I see that contained within your last post were the words 'should the US deal produce further complications'. What 'complications' are they? They made an absurd offer totalling £70m in March....and then, quite frankly, nothing! Apart from the few choice words by the BoD 'optimise shareholder value' followed by a drop in SP from 45p to 17p, that fall clearly summarising everything. So no 'complication' there...simply a stalemate situation that's going nowhere! Rather risky for a company that has possibly less than 12 weeks cash remaining - how will suppliers, now knowing that to be the case, likely react? They'll certainly want ALL their debts cleared AND up front payment before supplying anything more... ...so do we actually have to wait 12 more weeks for cash to run out?
Nazem i dont think Ashok Leyland will be interested in Tanfield as they have taken a 26% in Optare.which is another of Roy Stanleys Companys, and they make electric buses http://www.optare.com/pr_29_07_10.htm
Ashok Leylend the Indian Automotive manufacturers? Interesting times ahead, I just hope there's some transparancy from the BOD and a willingness to listen to all suitable proposals, should the SEVUS deal not be concluded.
It's been very quite here recently.... 21days into the 60 day SEVUS exclusivity option, I wonder how things are progressing??? Will Liberty be waiting in the wings once the 60 day period is over???
...'we might not see the light at the end of the tunnel but we can see the tunnel, that's all I will say.'... ...was that after (we?) 'Woke up this morning- read your post in bed - turned over again'? Now back to that tunnel of yours you two! Lol! "The namesh Bond, Jamesh Weshty Bond! Now, Mish Myo Moneypenny, turn over again!"
...now there's a picture to conjure with!
I thought a GT was a Gin and Tonic LOL ATB (G)
westy, your link led to a new product being described in the clip as a 'performance, sports type electric vehicle'....that is not the definition of a Gran Turismo! You will know, westy, that Gran Turismo literally means 'large tourer'. It was a term undermined by its abbreviation 'GT' becoming erroneously associated more with sports cars eg 'MG MGB GT', Maserati GT, Ferrari 250 GTO. In fact a true GT would be something more like the Bentley Continental GT or BMW Series 8 (large, fast cruisers). The latter 2 were what I had in mind in referring to a GT and the direction in which I felt EVs were unlikely to ever move. Nice try, westy, but your argument's flawed yet again!
eric, I didn't know they had a presence in London. Good for them! Others should learn...
