Was it not infact Merico and not Americo where the investment had been made? http://mericofinancial.com/
2 points on this I think. 1. The assets listed are assets under management and therefore they will earn fees as a proportion of these assets, which may be a fraction of a %. There are a couple of RNS's that show the amounts raised to invest in other firms as £250k in November and £60k in July, unless we are told otherwise I would assume that they are held as cost. 2. Looking at the date of the RNS's I can only assume that they were made after the last set of financials and will be included in the next published set.
Americo have assets of $6billion! 20% of that is $1.2billlion. Why is it not on the INC balance sheet? http://www.americo.com/Who%20We%20Are/Pages/Financials.aspx
Ivan eluded to ongoing discussions at the SP talk but was very wary about saying anything as he has been burnt by the delay on the 300k order. I would be surprised if going forward any deal is announced it is 100% confirmed.
What is this news that's worth £10m ??
I agree will go up tomorrow, about to soar news tomorrow I think, hope it will shoot soon. Big news around the corner. Worth £10m
Insetco's price is a geared up and set to soar in the next few weeks , so if you are invested , a lot is happening with this company , so hold on to those shares . Ivan is a director who has the golden touch .
Nice post - thanks for that heads up on 'Americo' - they've got an impressive website : http://www.americo.com/SitePages/Home.aspx
Hi all, Long time lurker, first time poster. I was at the evnt last night (asked a number of questions about Americo in the Q&A) and followed up with some more details later with Ivan. Turns out the company owns close to 20% of Americo, which surprises me as I hadn't found reference to it before and given the size of Americo would represent a good chunk of the INC assets (http://www.americo.com/Who%20We%20Are/Pages/Profile.aspx). I can't say I was completely sold on PP but the Americo holding has won me round MT
but looks like it's turned into an Investment! Thanks Sumdge for going and reporting - very interesting, and the guest list. Adam Reynolds looking confident? - I'm really hoping for a big take-off for NIPT soon. Ian Selby, confident too?
trades going through to from yesterday to make it look like a sell off today ??
Dan, appreciated.. Seems more to come..
Argh seems trimmed to relevant bits for ukog rather than the whole thing - he may have recorded other bits of interest so may be worth contacted Sakhtar direct.
https://soundcloud.com/shamraiz-2/dl-ukog Thanks to Sakhtar786 on UKOG board. Enjoy
Thanks mate. Let's hope Ian wasn't there to cosy up to the Darwin guy.
Hi mate, hope you are ok. Apparently IS went to another evening in December and speaks to TW semi regularly, he also knows the Darwin guy. I don't think there was any agenda.
Im not but ill take a look as soon as i can...........
SER got a brief mention from Lenigas saying that he phoned Dan Levi congratulating him on his move to the dark side! That was about it. The primary bid thing was very interesting. Adam Reynolds was in the audience and asked a question about that.
Thanks for posting up your thoughts about tonight's shareprophets meeting. Any idea why IS was attending?
I think probably the next move here is to find out as much about this PPP product as possible to determine whether or not it is the game changing product they are suggesting. In fairness to Ivan I am not convinced he really knows the mechanics of it and couldn't categorically confirm that Merico are the only company offering it (although he thought they were).
he he......I'm obviously learning if I'm asking the right questions..... hope you're well mate.... if you're not already in there, I've got a cracking long termer for you....SGZ.....you heard it here first......cononish mine is just the tip of a huge iceberg..... cheers....
ok, cheers for that... was thinking the same if this PPP doesn't take off or takes an age to do so......I've only got a smallish holding in here anyway and happy to hold to see where it goes...can always sell if PF sharpens his pencil and actually signs one of the 'biggies' and come back with a bigger amount.... cheers mate.. atb
Well balanced answer to collies question.............Im happy with my holding here and will hold but will not increase holding for now................
Thanks for taking time with your feed back tonight..............And your last question collie was one i was going to ask you beat me to it again lol..............
I was thinking about that on the way home. On the plus side, the market cap is still tiny and they have some fairly shrewd shareholders on board. Lenigas mentioned that he bought in because of somebody called "Potts" who he thinks is very smart and holds 9% (presumably under one of the nominee accounts). Also if PPP takes off then Merico have first mover advantage and it could be big. On the negative side, I just don't know enough about PPP (always stood for **** poor performance as far a I was concerned) and if it doesn't take off then INC don't appear to have much of a back up. So in a long winded answer to a straightforward question, as a holder I am happy with what I have. If I didn't hold I would probably buy in.
