It would be expected to fall anyway, in other news Sevco Scotland now has to pay that nice Mr Ashley to call itself Rangers
Perhaps they have a seller and that is his requested price - like a house sale.
why did the indicative pric fall by 3p, as I said take it up with them
Hence why they say "indicitive" price. Would you like to buy a used car ? My indicative price is £3M.
There is no way on God's green earth that any institutional investor will buy into this club (from word one I was amazed they did in the first place - due diligence replaced with rolling a die). Th eonly money that will keep NewGers afloat is fan money. King et al may pay lip service, but the've not been particularly active so far have they....
I see you are finally getting there
Look son the site reported a 3p reduction on the day - take it up with them, Tuesday the SP was 35.5p

As far as the playing side of Rangers is concerned, what Stuart McCall has done in a few weeks, is clearly highlight how totally and utterly inept Ally McCoist was as a Manager. If we had McCall or someone similar when we were booted down the divisions, and the owners had been courageous to act upon the obvious, then Ally should never have lasted beyond his first season in charge. We were well clear of Celtic and we blew it, in no small measure to McCoist's inept tactics and failure to motivate players that were capable of getting the job done. Ally always wants to be one of the lads, and you can't do that when you're the gaffer. For his sake I hope he draws a line under his management ambitions and goes back to doing the media work which he is very good at. I wish him all the best. As for Rangers as an ongoing business, it won't be an easy road, and I think all Rangers fans understand that. The Rangers fans that own shares will hang on to them, safe in the knowledge that when everything is back on an even keel and moving forwards their investment will not have been wasted. As for any institutional investors, and the likes of the Easdales, well, I have no sympathy for them if they lost out, they deserve everything they get for their mismanagement. I've said it before and I'll say it again, with very, very few exceptions, football clubs are not places to invest your money in If you are an investor looking to make money, unless your intention is to rape the club and leave it high and dry! Investing in a football club, should only be done with the knowledge that you are investing in an institution that means more to you that just cash, it's part of the very fabric of your life. I have no doubts that the vast majority of people that now hold shares in Rangers, feel exactly like this. It's going to be a long road, and there are a few painful decisions to be taken along the way, but Rangers will be back, perhaps sooner than many think. It won't be so long before we can look forward to games, rather than dread them. It won't be long before we are in a position to dream again about Champion's League football. It's been a hard lesson we have all learned, but one that will only make us stronger. Aye Ready!
Another year in the championship is utter madness. In a month McCall has shown that what can be done with a bit of nous.
because last time we sat back and ignored the signs - it cost us our place in world football (at top of our league). It could have been prevented by simple questions and our smart fans working together to avoid catastrophe - portsmouth , leeds and others showed that multiple admins/liquidations are the most likely path to follow - and we want to avoid that at all costs..... 140+ years of history, 40-50K STs, leagues and cups galore - all lost in an instant - when our debts exceeded our funds We still have the stadium, the training ground - and should be financially sound as our main rivals - but are not ... something is wrong.... some feel its the conspiracy against us - but too many walk away with full pockets - veyr few ( Smith, MMurray) walk away with no payments at all.... so the rrm are few... the pretenders are many. I dont like Ashley (no ambition ) but would settle for it in the short term. I dont like King ( no money so far, and his history is bad, rrm yup - but was on board at the crash - and culpable ) .. lets see what he delivers - but would not be shocked if its another scam.... and fear this may be case lots of analysis on here - are we better for it - real fans are wiser..... but lets hope we go up in playoffs. Would accept other year in championship - if we rebuild with kids and some real players and romp it next year - maybe winning petrofac cup and thus starting a roll, into spfl year after .... with some hope ... fear admin2 is closer than we all think..... hope not. last post - time to move on.
ff - we are a football club first and last - not a stockmarket plaything. Most clubs struggle along with 6 monthly financials to review - why should we waste time and effort with daily updates ? Seems clear there will be fundraising over the next couple of months - when something is in place - you'll know. Until then chillax and enjoy the playoffs.
lmmx site is a joke - you cannot sort by date ( as order is day-month-year ) so cant sort by year.... only by day ? We not a real trading stock anymore, now a laughing stock. No Nomad, No cash , No regulation - we just gone back 5 years - to where is PR releases only - no real financial info - and first we know we in admin. Is MCmurdo ill - he had 6million views so was a well read blog - but looks like no money for him to post anymore. I see Selic board has bobbargains posting there as well ???? why bother.... its only our stock that gets trolls the like of stuzeeuk - who does not support gers - but all Scottish clubs in general and selic in Europe ?
Johnners my dear old thing. JP Jenkins list all trades they arrange - I can't see that they have arranged any for Rangers - but your eyesite might be better than mine. http://lmmx.co.uk/latest-trades/
JB, this: http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=RFC&ArticleCode=o9k8wyb2&ArticleHeadline=Cessation_of_listing_on_AIM__move_to_new_Exchange For clarification, not being traded on AIM. Stu, The Naked Trader is a good book. But he almost tries to make it look too easy.
cam, I read two good books when I started trading . - How the stock market really works. A guerrilla investors guide, by the financial times. It gives a really good basic breakdown of how the market works and possible options you might want to consider. I tend to buy investment trusts in emerging markets and any other sectors I think will grow, rather than individuals stocks. - naked trader by Robbie burns is OK too. you can get them both on Amazon or eBay.
Who says shares aren't being traded?
StuBlue Of course he's obsessed. There are many others, much worse. I've been reading this board for ages and only recently opened an account. I'm more interested in trading shares and learning from those who know more than me. But, for my sins, I support Rangers. So the antics here have kept me thoroughly entertained while I've been buying small amounts of shares based on what I've learned on other boards. I just wish the Rangers fans wouldn't take the bait so easily.
what is the point of this db? H.
you have an interesting joining date for LSE boards johnny (have a look back if you don't get it others). Don't see many posts on other shares either. Tad obsessed are we?
If there aren't any being traded there is no price.
was 35.5 yesterday and summary says -3p will be interesting to see how many shares the BPH and Margarita dispose of now delisted Rangers First will get a bargain whilst the institutionals get a handsome profit
Oh dear
Sorry, meant to add that I'd be happy to help.
JohnnyBhoy, are you a Celtic fan perchance? The stock is delisted from AIM and so not a single share can be traded there. It's been well publicised, do you not understand how the stockmarket operates?
