MSC Leandra is not far away now from Singapore and is due to arrive Saturday morning. After a short stay she is on her way to China. The results next week should hopefully state she is now on her final journey for the dry docking. They will probably state the dry docking is imminent.
"But Noel has proved from the charts that the price is going to 1p,"
This is guaranteed. We have been thusly informed and as you can see we are heading towards 1p as we speak.
Could be up up and away next week. Hopefully some news justifying a better share price for us all.
In all possibilities the successful Morocco trial completion with commercial discussions alone will blow 5p out of the water.
MSC POC start should mirror Maersk trial and even with dilution since 2013 I would expect 25-30p
Am uninterested in these small gains though my last top up at 1.24 looks great today!
I want the news all us long termers crave
Giddy up QED (sorry I jumped the gun false start QFI)
But Noel has proved from the charts that the price is going to 1p, so no good new is possible, and that's the end of that (haven't heard from him recently, funnily enough).
Creeping up again. Up fro the low of 1.2p in Feb to 1.6p today.
Look at the one year chart. Specifically, look at the drop from April 2022 to October 2022 followed by the rise from there. Look how the drop was mirrored from October 2022 to February 2023, now the rise, which could also mirror last year's and go back to 2.5p.
With Morocco trials and MSC POC it may just do that on expectations, rather than chart self fulfillment.
Moving up nicely and good volume
Good to see a rise in the SP just before the results. Let's hope the results show strong momentum in the projects.
Jack,
"Find out one way or another on Monday"
Or Tue/we'd?
Results last year were on 28th, the year before on 29th.
Might even get an operations update tomorrow or Monday, results separately?
Not yet by the looks of it:
"This document is being processed and will be available in 10 days"
Great to see Redliner telling it how it is!!
Not even close, and that’s from the last Edison note, not the AGM as claimed. Detail matters.
Perhaps form this statement:
“The POC tests will commence in H1 CY23 after the Leandra returns from its scheduled maintenance and regulatory class inspection in a dry dock. This is slightly later than the Q4 CY22 start shown in our March note because of the time taken to purchase the Leandra. Assuming that the results from the POC tests are positive, MSC will then finalise agreements with third parties for trial and commercial fuel supply and conduct lengthier trials (4,000 hours of operation) to provide commercial operating experience, potentially culminating in obtaining LONOs from the engine manufacturer, Wärtsilä. Management expects that the LONO trial will take around six to eight months to complete. As the trials progress, Quadrise, MSC and other key stakeholders such as refineries will hold discussions, which are likely to commence in CY H223, regarding the supply of bioMSAR and/or MSAR for use by MSC’s global fleet. A single vessel would consume 0.6kbpd of fuel.“

“"we've been told refiners are waiting in the wings for Leandra's route to be determined."
I was present through the last agm and the above comment was never said openly to those present.
If someone claims Jason or another bod mentioned that to them then it’s the first I’ve heard it. Perhaps that person might confirm the detail?
If not it sounds like another HF14 piece of fiction.
Do we get a new chat board now?

The government of Nuevo León and Pemex agreed to meet in 15 days to define the action plan to follow on the issue of the Cadereyta refinery.

Indeed. I just got a notification from companies house that the name has changed so RNS in the morning.

I would like to add that surely MSC woulf not install a scrubber to the ahip if there was no fuel supply agreement in the wind.
Thanks, JackG and HF.
Let's hope this news is, dare I say it, "imminent", as it de-risks a lot and will be the point the whole project starts to come alive.
'we've been told refiners are waiting in the wings for Leandra's route to be determined.'
JM also statde this at the last AGM. One would assume now that MSC Leandra is about to go into dry docking the route afhas been planned out.
Yep, getting close to end of month, so start the delay talk while people start to get anxious, typical tactic lol..
Best to lower the price before news, makes sense, more up side on good news, less downside than waiting for delay to be announced at a higher price....Mmmmm
Convincing me..I think, clever
Gribbler
From the final results 2022.
Proof-of-concept ("POC") tests aboard the Leandra are planned for Q1 2023, after the vessel returns from drydock for its scheduled maintenance and regulatory class inspection. Confirmation of the vessel route and the MSAR® / bioMSAR™ bunker supply point and partner will be made in Q4 2022, with discussions underway with potential fuel supply partners.
Thanks JackG,
"we've been told refiners are waiting in the wings for Leandra's route to be determined."
When was this confirmed please? Fuel supply hurdle has been one of my biggest concerns since Jason's comments that things were moving very slowly. Would make me feel a lot better to know they are simply waiting for Leandra's route details!
