He would have taken part in the tender offer
Typo..SJL
Be interesting to know whether JL took up the tender offer or has let it rollover..
Somebody is optimistic .... circa 19%...
HL have probably invested it short term with Freddy Krueger. Oh well I see the sp is in decline, this is going to be another white knuckle ride with MMX (has it ever been different) If the NAV stays as was the sp should stay at 9.6p next March if there is to be no rto, if the cash shell play works there may be a bit of upside, that my theory......who really knows Huckster
exactly the same for me ... 88% sold
I tendered 100% of my holding and based on what has been returned in cash and shares I appear to have have sold c.88% - a lot higher than anticipated and not entirely sure how works back to their calculation! SB
What percentage did they allow?
Morning all
Interactive investors have processed cash return in both isa and trading accounts - money in the bank! I also seem to have been able to tender a higher number of shares under the excess entitlement than anticipated which was a good result at the price. Hopefully other brokers process payouts today. SB
All
yes, I spoke to HL they say we will get the money on the '11th of October or thereabouts' .....not massively specific so I will have to wait. Yrs seen the price drift, nothing really to be done just hope this shambles of a company gets something right.
Good luck to all.
Harry Huckster
Hopefully not long now Hucks - brokers have a little bit of work to do finalising individual returns based on excess entitlements where applied for. More importantly - how much price drift will we see with our remaining shares - and at this price are they worth a further punt?!! SB
It’s down to the broker to process. So I know iWeb are currently doing this and should get money either later today or tomorrow
It is in the way that they have processed it and passed the money on, it’s then down to the brokers to pay it out which is where the hold up will be,
RNS out at 7am saying tender offer complete! well not really, wheres the money, it's not complete until the shareholders have been paid srely Huckster
according to iweb we should be credited the money on 11th or thereafter
Aw....its all just investor talk, will take a look at Christopher Mills, thank you H
You do like your ollie's don't you hucks! Off topic - but I was listening to a recent interview with Christopher Mills of Oryx (one of our II's) and North Atlantic smalls caps fame - his track record is very impressive - I think they are in about 7p average on mmx (c.40% return) - which is small beer return compared to his other investments which have made stellar returns in recent years - he is a real value led investor and some of his tips are food for thought. SB
Yup, hoping for Friday latest, want to invest in BP $ 0.25, think that might fly a bit, £ 5.00 pre pandemic, £ 3.00 beginning September now £ £ 3.48 and counting h
I think our future will depend on who is actually at the rudder.....Captain 'steady as she goes' Farrow or Captain 'sailing to the new world' Turcan......! In the meantime lets see which broker transfers cash first.....possibly end of this week. SB
So the good ship MMX sails once again, unlike most of my investments to a totally unknown destination, lets hope the captain knows where he is going, that would be be a first for MMX ..................Cynical H
If you offered to sell excess shares it looks like you will have managed to sell c. 2.5% over the 69% offer entitlement ie c.71.5% will have been purchased at 9.6p. SB
How disappointing 9.7p
Leader - think of this as an extended settlement period - if you sold your shares in any stock exchange stock through a broker you would have to wait two days for the actual cash to appear in your account. In this situation we will be told tomorrow how many shares have been tendered in total and we can work out what that means for us in respect of our individual positions - with the cash being returned on 11th October / there may be a slight delay at individual broker level. All appears in order imo. SB
Bit disconcerting to have the account drained of shares with no cash alternative come in the opposite directions, not done this before, assume all is in order but when can we expect the return?
My account has been updated to what I tendered removed
