Hopefully a genuine slow rerate this time.
Delighted how everything is taking shape here. Quite happy with slow steady rises. I know this is going to take time, but i'm happy my investment will make me money in time.
slow positive increase during day
come to fruition then a 2x bagger will be just the start.A 90% owned gold deposit "well north "of 2moz is just the beginning .Look around at previous world sale prices of similar open pit deposits and (worst possible scenario 2moz) even halved to allow for DRC risk effect, then the sale value of DRC/Casa is a minimum of 50m.
Two parties have expressed an interest to buy the Slovakian asset. A big re rate is on the cards when that news hits.
An excellent sign.
caught up https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=385&v=05oJlvVOzXI Plenty of news to come and hopefully each good item will push the sp higher.
Buy when the overhang from a placing is just about to disappear and lots of news is due in the short term, hence my buy in here.
from the placing shares I suspect. That's the time to buy.
No wonder I couldn't get a quote for 2k.
Ive put my money where my mouth is and put in 2k this morning. Interestingly enough I had to buy in 1k amounts. I sold the majority of my holding in GGP a while ago. It felt stale and I couldn't see it going anywhere quickly. I have been keeping an eye on OTC and believe that the good times are just about to start here. Its the same feeling I had at GGPat 0.69. Lots of news due this month.
walking away from GGP by the looks of things. Maybe some smart money will find its way here?
- Imminent sale of Sturec asset. - Start of Phase 2 drilling at Akyanga and review of previous 100 drill results with the end goal of JORCing the asset to upwards of 2m+ au oz. - Andiamo looking for further fund raising through private placements or potential IPO. - Focus on JORCing the Zambian asset & further financing the limited production plant - Gold over $1330. Micro and macro factors lining up for an explosive break out here.... Could be leaving the 2p zone barrier soon, if it breaks 5, it would be near 8p-12p+ (a PFS ready gold project in 2019 when the gold could be near $1400 means an blockbuster exit valuation - upwards of $100m-$150m for the DRC asset alone.)
Welll ARC will hopefully hold 100% in Zamsort in the similar fashion that the team performed to get 100% of Casa in due course. The CLNs we will get in Zamsort to finance the plant required will get ARC owning 100% but I havent looked into this for the potential cost. When I spoke to the board at Andiamo they clearly needed more funds and OTC didnt provide further financing when required last year but provided a loan to Casa instead to fund the 15 hole drill program as much better investment which has proved to be correct. But Andiamo are struggling to get finance and finding a company that wont a stake in Andiamo, so I feel it is very unlikely ARC will receive any funds from this sale as I feel it will not progress any further. Just a poor investment in the past but it is the smallest one of the 4 investments by a long way (if you exclude Sturec of course) Just feel any re rating is a while away as revenue is required from the 100% ownership of Zamsort and a plant being built. This will take time but one the name is changed on 22nd, I feel progress on this will be pretty much immediate. Long term this can be huge but I feel short term we will stay in the 2s with the odd rush into the low 3s to clear a few more placees. As I feel Zamsort will continue in the short term, the main progress I am looking for is Sturec and hope a sale of the asset is the best thing for ARC. A JV or a pool and share deal seems we will be tied in and feel a clean break from the original OTC asset is the best move forward. Lets see what happens
Slovakia's 100% stake is quite underrated by the market due to legacy issue - JORC resource of almost a 1m au oz is substantial project. Selling it would probably help to finance casa mining region up to next year's PFS without diluting existing shareholders....And the same with Andiamo's stake which can be sold to JORc grade the Zambian copper-cobalt project. VC did earlier mention the non-jorc status of the Zambian asset as being one of the hurdle for raising capital.
If I’ve mis-heard then my bad. Maybe we won’t actually need it if we can get some decent value for Sturec. Cheers.
Love it. Clear and concise. We have gold that can't be unfound, but obviously there is a lot to happen before we see real value for us long-termers. With NVS at the helm, I'm totally confident, but then again I always have been in OTC. 1. Name Change - to Arc. Not precious, but a clear break with the past was needed. May be helpful for point 3. 2. Sturec - has been a dead weight IMO for a while. I bought in for it but totally understand the need for change in direction. Any value that can be extracted from it is good. Sad it's come to this, but it's needed. 3. Fund raising - NVS said in the podcast that we're funded for the next couple of months. Where he was being specific or generalising who knows. However, I expect a placing. We need capital to expand our drilling programme and move to the next phase. Yes, placings are dilutive but only if they are done at ludicrous prices. I'm sure a lot of us PIs would love to get involved but it usually doesn't happen. As long as it is at a sensible price then so be it. The plan to use RC drilling is great for costs. Zamsort - get CASA sorted and then up our stake from 14%. NVS' tone on this was pleasing. GLA.
They will sort out Slovakia in the most value is created for shareholders and that’s perfect for me.
..and the words "spin off" thrown in which may not be so good
Or the Wood Group, after several hundred thousand pounds, was rebranded as "Wood".
Wish my other stocks had such clarity and hit home the main points so well.
Ortac = To Arc. See what they did there? Genius! Is Tyler Brule behind this? He was allegedly paid $1 million after coming up with the idea to change Swissair to Swiss.
Very interesting interview, thanks for sharing http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/stocktube/8608/from-ortac-to-arc-mineralsfloating-a-new-name
Good point but depends what you call bad news I guess
I am pretty ambivalent re the name change .NVS wants to turn it into his new baby, but one thing is for sure is that if any bad news was on the horizon then it would have been released under the old name.
