The amount of sitting in the boat, waiting and drinking that we’ve had to do, we’ll surely all have irreversible liver damage by now. Not to mention, immense piles.
Some nice expressions, we've learned in Swedish. "Sit still in the boat and have a beer".
Skal! HengDai.
Hi Rick. Yes, we are always the ones suffering on the end of any delays. Many companies may well have gone bust by now, so at least we are still in the fight, albeit our investment nerve has been severely tested.
It’s beyond time that we had a touch of good fortune for a change.
Agreed Eric. In the meantime our SP suffers the impact.
Until it is in an RNS I will be holding on firmly.
What irks me is that all parties know that they seemingly can always receive an extension of time, depending on how they word the request, so this only makes a mockery of having an original submission deadline date in the first place. Extensions I feel should not be handed out unless in exceptional circumstances, which then must be proven.
Only my view.
We don't know anything about this extension, such as extended from when? They might have been asked to submit something like supporting evidence, we don't know. But there's no reason to believe the final date for the decision is changed in any way, which is first half of 2024.
Surely the ‘process’ will be stricter this time, because it’s the Court system. It’s Supreme innit!
We’ve seen this before at the original process in Sweden. The hearing is not over this is to give Naturskyddsföreningen a chance to respond to the governments response then once they respond the Sami will ask for an extension to respond to the Naturskyddsföreningen Response once they get the extension then all parties will be given a chance to respond to the responses and around we go again , it’s just how Sweden works ( excuse the irony )
Wots, yes, why make any decisions when you can deliberate, cogitate and fart about for a billion years instead.
At #BEM's wholly-owned subsidiary, Jokkmokk Iron Mines AB, the goal is to create a sustainable and modern mine in #Sweden to provide #iron for use in fossil free green steel, reducing the emissions associated with the steel making process by up to 95%.
Thanks andy for taking the time to keep us up to date much appreciated
I dont believe it. To my knowledge the hearing is over. We are just waiting on the court ruling, why would the ruling be delayed, its not like they will listen to more evidence. Sure I understand the delay from Jan to allow the courts deliberation, but the case is over......Unless the law is sooooo much different in Sweden
Thanks Andy. Useful to know that. Much appreciated.
Yep, always trying to delay.
Naturskyddsföreningen is one of the parties that's involved this process, the Sami villages is another (and they've haven't asked for an extension (yet)).
It only seems that they are trying anything they can to delay the Court ruling.
In my opinion only.
I’m not sure either Wots.
Andy, is this the norm? I’m not sure how many other parties can have their say.
Many thanks.
Thanks for the link.
Its the Extension to Feb 23 I don't understand......Surely this isn't another bunch of clowns burying their heads in the sand and voting against the govt and the EU.........
Que?
So they've (Naturskyddsföreningen) asked for an extension to February 23 and it's approved.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

TheFarEnd...We'll agree on that then, it's not worth pursuing, it's only money and it's not life or death.
