My original 20k now wouldn’t even cover the transport and hotel for the night. Big lesson learned here :-(
Want some Morrison value eggs to throw ? :)
I plan to go again this year.
EraticPhil used to go I think but not sure anyone is still invested or if they are they have given up.
Who is going, free tea and coffee, probably worth about a 100,000 shares.
In all seriousness, anyone from here going!
Anyone mentally ill enough to invest here? No. I did not think so. This cost me thousands that will never every come back. This is never ever going to spike. That is why I say you will have to be mentally ill to invest here.
I did invest ( gamble) here many years ago after what can only be described as a brain fart ! Not much left of original investment . The only winners are those drawing saleries...it will never get close to clearing its debt and extracting a meaningful amount of oil. I expect this to be taken private at some stage....
Not really windy. Are seriously suggesting it is a good idea to invest in Range?!
Anyone mentally ill enough to invest?
The poo has nothing to do with RRL anymore. The only thing that will improve the SP is production and the management are incapable of increasing it. You would have to be mentally ill to invest in Range now.
Greetings from the TRIN board...I posted this on the TRIN board but I am posting it here also because it is so pertinent:
There is an article out reporting that Trinidad is selling oil $3 better than WTI...this might have more to do with global demand than anything else.
It will be interesting to see whether the POO that we all receive is fair, as things stand...
it looks like:
10% rule of thumb Discount to WTI (20% to Brent)
Royalties
ORR (combined 30%)
Other taxes and levies
SPT (22-30%)
Anyone want to bid (as in lump out actual cash for the privilege of the above?!) in the "exciting" new shallow water auction early next year?
The fiscal regime in Trinidad cannot go on relying on the patience of shareholders and needs to change.
IMHO Trinidad needs to make drilling CAPEX allowable 100% against SPT (rather than ~20%).
This would stimulate companies to grow supply which the Country wants and needs, is profoundly simple to implement, allows companies to plan around a step tax where they have an incentive to drill when oil is high & can be defensive when oil is low...and is a strong step towards a system that stops fraying the nerves of the whole oil industry in Trinidad (including Petrotrin).
Everyone has to pay tax (don't i know it!) but not everyone has to own shares in companies that are taxed so absurdly...which is why there is current weakness in the Trinidad Oiler share price while oil is actually pretty strong.
GO and dust off the recommended plans Colm...
If you agree - ping your management voicing how F*cked the system is
Never mind the seller who is buying 27 mill so far today.
Between them Manos and IndiVestor have a combined IQ of 150 ... that's genius level. Maybe they can direct their combined intellect somewhere more productive?
Because it's not my date of Birth!! First names are of no value to anyone here other than to sometimes use informally, like Phil.
On a positive note the RRDSL cricket all stars are back in action.
I've got my fluorescent pink shorts on today, while watching play from the beach Marcelle rum shack.
Not a hurricane or earthquake insight today,
Hutts shutts sports bar 643/3 Dec, in reply RRDSL are in a spot of bother at 47/5 team manager a Mr Loopy Loo is fuming and was last seen walking into the the casino.
I stumbled upon this rrl thread during my browsing. It's been a tough ride for many of the lths here and I feel sorry that they've been let down. However, AIM isn't at fault. I believe fundamentals of the company are a let down. I've been invested in BMN for few years because of the fundamentals. It was in a worse situation than rrl 2 years back but investors held in because of the fundamentals. You should all see it's trajectory and read up on the company. Currently at 35p, it's expected to sit at multiples of that in months from now. Do your research and read up on that thread. Might take away some of this pain and maybe add a touch of good positivity that is much needed. I wish you all the very best. Best wishes
Chris why advertise your year of birth in your username? Anyone investing in range is mentally ill.
This continues to be a donkey of a share
Hi Phil. Looks like the majority of the original LTH crew have probably given up and sold out. After ten years or so, my Holding is worth Pennies now. It's Hardly worth cashing them in for a few quid and I cannot see any real chance of RRL coming good again. A few rises for the Trader's here and there, but I don't think the AIM has been much good for long termer's for years. Very disappointing. However, the Markets may rally on news of a Brexit deal, but it may not have much of an effect until it's Set in Stone?
Cheers
Chris

Another earthquake Sunday in T&T but fairly small in the grand scheme of things.
Wonder if any handouts at 3:30pm that will help the traders/investors. A cry about taxes being increased, will they tinker with CGT I wonder.
Can't disagree with a lot there windy.
Me personally I'd spar wide of this tho,
Cash burn situation doesn't look good for survival.
Ps
I still love a punt but let Nick Train place my money now :-)
Comments from Eva extracted from his post.
"Best of luck with Range. Sadly I don’t think there is any chance they survive more than a year. I received the below from Eva. They have no drive, ambition or clue.
I understand how frustrating this is but yes, q3 19 is correct. As stated in the announcement, the expected completion schedule was revised to take into account the recently announced Petrotrin restructuring. To explain further, Petrotrin plays a major role in pre-approvals and on-site permitting of infrastructure upgrades. Prior to the restructuring, Petrotrin would carry out such work daily. However, the announced restructuring resulted in Petrotrin ceasing internal overtime work for their employees, including weekend work. These changes are therefore anticipated to result in delays in obtaining regulatory approvals required as part of the programme, and hence cause delay in our infrastructure upgrades.
With regards to RRDSL, we are continuing with marketing efforts and are hoping to secure further work. We will of course update all shareholders once we have some further developments on this.
Kind regards
Eva"
A very sobering post by Razz on world stocks.
I sincerely hope there's no one idiotic enough to implore
Folk to buy this junk.
