This share is very much a play on FID and production. Given New Age sold Congo to finance Etinde and indeed sold to Lukoil this field is going to be developed. Loads of change at New Age infers that a new management team is being put in place so as to develop Etinde. Given New age ownership I would expect increased Chinese influence over the development and potential for Bowleven and Lukoil to be bought out as soon as FID is reached. Cash is not the determinant of value now, future development is.
I think realisation has championed... we were valued at below cash for all the time I have had shares.. now we are valued above.. nothing has changed,,, just feel if this is kicked down the road.. 3-5 p will be the correct value until a something happens... 10p is expensive.. 25p old money...we have been at 18p before so 3p new money...
1MSN, whilst I don't agree with LuckCounts assessment completely, what is true is that your position has changed, not just your view. I remember some of the things you posted( Chinese buyer) just one when you allegedly held 4 million shares and you were the biggest ramper on here. Now it's all doom and gloom talking it down, I think you have sold , nothing wrong with that you've obviously made the right decision, and are now looking for a nice low back . Wish I'd sold and not invested my dividend another big mistake but I'll stick with it till the end.
See you at 5p...
Not sure that is going to be the case. New Age are currently throwing out the old management and replacing with new people. Heavily backed by the Chinese, in my opinion, they want to get on with Etinde and are putting the right people in place. There will be little news here until the new management are in place there and then I would expect a pick up end of this year beginning of next with FID announced and a sale of Bowleven to follow after. Increased cash and value of Etinde once FID decided upon will lead to a sale price of c. 30p. I am long and wrong but willing to sit on these and if it drops below 10 will add.

Im not sure they are . their average is around 24p... so it wold be around 9p in new money...
I personally feel this will be kicked down the round now for another couple of years with the share price moving down to cash again ... so 5p
I agree with everything you post and hope things work out for us all .This is last chance I get with shares now
after xcite energy fiasco. GLTA
This is now beyond a joke , every day . I hang on to the slight comfort that there are some big players severely underwater here and unless I've missed them have had no notifications of sales, Crown haven't sold any to my knowledge and they must be many millions in the red. Once upon a time I thought we might get a decent return but now I live in hope that I'll get most of my money back.
I reinvested the dividend as soon as it was paid and think the price was around 17 pence then
Have since got out of III and now have my shares in certificates so cannot confirm,
but certainly have lost all the 8.5 thousand dividend I invested
It has not really... the day before the Dividend it was trading 25p... so 10p is the same really..
Hope your wrong with your prediction, look how much its dropped since the dividend was paid
a few months ago. Very little turnover yet massive drop in share price. Will this dog ever rise
Remember when it was 4 quid. GLTA
looks like today is the day...

MSN am also a holder and concerned at these levels but given intrinsic value of Etinde and the sale of Congo, New Age need to develop the project. They will have new leadership next month and will get the proceeds from Congo in due course. At that point I expect geological results to be released and FID after that. BLVN then get $25mn, a resource upgrade and part ownership of a field that will be developed. I would imagine a sale occurs after that. If that all happens, which I expect it will then we will get 30p or more. Matter of biding time although I admit this is deeply frustrating and I expected to be out before the summer!
Yep still here..
Change of tune there, not long ago you were telling us that it would be sold at 56p, mind you you were a holder then , are you now?
This is going below 10... down to 8
Won't end up 8% and in reality it's not, they are just taking it off the ask price. This is what Bowleven does to you makes you look for the negatives at every turn!
MM,s I would think but do hope some news coming GLTA
News I hope. This is like watching paint dry!
Up nearly 8% today................news coming or just MMs?
Well lets hope they don't take 40 million quid out of Bowleven whilst their waiting like KH and his team did
GLTA
COC now realising just exactly what KH and his team had to endure with Biya's corrupt MOM etc. Cameroon is no place for a GB company to flourish - quite the opposite. The opportunity cost for COC must be sobering - they could be tied in here for years.
Buys seem to be much greater than sells and yet share price keeps falling ,how come may I ask
I certainly hope this starts to come better. The sooner the better.
