has anyone got any dates for the new listing here? and expected share price?... word on the street was that each share would be worth £11-£13?!!!! ... I'm guessing more like 10p!
Lucky holders are getting a free share in riches new company.... Aren't we lucky...
These guys have been milking the same system for years...why would they stop now?
Inktomi had a really good knowledge and understanding regarding the sheningans of WGP, but when she did try and warn people and to err on the side of caution, she got a lot of abuse and vitriol for trying to help folk. She was classed as a deramper and was called all sorts of names, especially by someone called gem123, I also was cyber attacked, even though ink and myself had been in co. from 2007/8 and saw our original ipo offer 0.11p reduced very quicly, I had 27500 shares which suddenly became 275 shares and now I have the grand total of 3, I think they felt sorry for me and rounded my 2.95 shares to 3 And then WGP traded on a German exchange for a while then came on to Aim and started trading at a ridiculous high value that eventually stopped trading at 0.08p. WGP was also p & d by some investors and I think bought in at 0.40p. I really hope folk did not lose too much, but it really is p**s taking when Mr Riches would like us to spend more money ob Betting Services Ltd. The company may do very well if and when it is listed on an exchange, but it sure as hell ain't getting money from towards it £500,000.
Riches, Lenigas all these directors are the real winners in this game. Create an idea, sell it to the public then pump in lots of hype whilst gradually sucking every penny out of it. Whatever the end result, be it a fully functioning company or a totally defunct one you are guaranteed the directors will have a big fat bank account at the end of it. The problem is that they are all regulated by thier mates and they all want a piece of the pie too! All you can do is try and follow thier hype and get out before it all goes pear shaped. Unfortunately with WGP they managed to give us all hope right up until the suspension. By the time we all knew what was happening it was too late they were off over the hills and far away!
Thanks for plausible explaination regarding voluntary liquidation. What is really p*****g me off, is that good ole Mr Riches probably did well out of WGP with wages etc. and now he'll be getting directors' wages again of this new company. Rich by name and nature. And he seriously expects those who have lost money in his last venture are going to stump up more money towards his participation in the company 'Betting Services Ltd,' he ain't real........... 'Legalised robbery, very apt description'. May take Mr Riches up on his offer to ring him, but I don't think he'll like hearing what I wish to say to him. Robbing b******s.............
Voluntary liquidation. I'm guessing the rules are different if you jump before you are pushed? Makes sense I guess, even if it's morally dubious. Clear all the debts for free and start again with the product, customers and nothing but profit in the bag. Legalised robbery!
Found my mail regarding Betting Service Limited and have my certificate for 3 shares :-( The Director of the new company is.............Neil Riches............. and if you want to discuss the new offer or any part of the letter, then please call his mobile any time...............The offer for us lucky shareholders is to participate in the fund raising...............FFS I didn't think you could be a director of another company if you have been involved with a company that had gone in to liquidation, but WTFDIK...............
Thanks for info regarding new company.Spoilt for choice in how I'm going to spend my profits from 2.95 shareholing :-(
Lol, all my own work :-)
does LSE put in the asterix or did you type them in! still not to worry even if WGP were not dead we'd only be moaning about how poorly the price was doing despite the alleged aim rally
Technically they don't exist yet. Thebettingservice has to raise £500,000 in share options or something before they are eligible to list on the stock market,at least that's as I understand it? This has been given a time frame of 6-9 months. You should be contacted about this. My broker sent me a letter and these non-existent shares are now listed in my PF, currently valueless like my WL shares!
Ffs, got no idea, didn't even know about this bettingservice company until I read it on this board today. Won't need a f*****g shoebox for my 2.95 shares, a f*****g match box or smaller will be fine for me Neil Riches has a lot to answer for, b*****d.
So what's the scoop then ... How do we collect our new shares ..in an old shoebox from the Sally Army soup kitchen....
I believe inktomi bought into the IPO when I did. Thought the company had great prospects. I believe I bought 25,000 shares at 0.11p, that soon became 275 shares If only I'd read Motley Fool before I bought in. Motley Fool article of the web. The latest offering from Arc Equities is Worldlink Group: http://www.arcequities.co.uk/brochures/36257%20Arc%20Worldlink%20Offer%20Doc%20(15%20web).pdf Investors are invited to buy shares at a price of 11p. 1. The company has 713.9m shares in issue and so at the offer price of 11p, this values the company at a huge £78.5m! 2. The shares being sold are in Worldlink Group plc, a newly formed company incorporated on 7 December 2007. 3. From the offer document: On 19 February 2008 SME Capital Limited and CapitalIdeas plc subscribed for 1,976,285 Ordinary Shares in consideration for a total investment of £250,000 at a subscriptionprice of approximately 12.65p per share. 49,414,106 Ordinary Shares were also issued to Arc Fund Management Limited,Capital Ideas plc, Monument Capital Partners Limited, SME Capital Limited and Turnaround Capital Consultancyplc for corporate advice services to the Company. So £250k was raised at a price of 12.65p from the issue of almost 2m shares. And in addition, 49.4m shares were issued in return for "corporate advice services". This suggests that £6.24m worth (49.4m shares * 12.65p) of "corporate advice services" have recently been provided to Worldlink Group plc. Personally I find this figure quite incredible and presumably anyone who invests in the company will want to know exactly what sort of "corporate advice services" the company received that were possibly worth this much - or alternatively if the share price that was used to price these services was materially different to the 12.65p? 4. Limited financial information is provided but page 20 seems to suggest that Personally, I've had a good look at this document and I won't be investing. And I can't imagine who would want to. JakNife I hope all investors WGP have better luck with their other investments
If that charlatan Mr Riches wishes to sue me, he can, I'm only worth 275 share value of worldlink or 2.95 share value of new company, so he won't be getting much ;-) Robbing b*****d :'(
Great, I've got 2.95 f*****g shares now :-( Do not recall getting any notification regarding new company. Won't be buying any CRV with any profits this new company. Surely N Riches hasn't got any connections with bettingservice. FFS, if he has, he needs locking up and key thrown away. Inktomi, do you still check in on this bb?
Well I very much doubt the future dividends if any will mount to much. Lots of debtors to pay off first. But I have already received the free shares in this other company and they are listed with my online broker, even though technically I guess they do not exist. Not many shares really, I have just over 200 but could be nice if they get listed and are worth a few quid each. Looks like this new company is in cahoots with Betfair and as far as I remember they were partners with Worldlink before they went belly up? To work out how many you will receive divide your WL holding by 93. Would not be surprised if the BoD of this new company were all WL directors before!
Interesting ... No ones contacted me or my people or my people's people...
I am assuming others here have been notified of the latest developements here? We are to be given a holding in another company that may or may not be listed on the stock exchange in the next 6-9 months. This company has purchased some of the worldlink assets, the revenue from which will be used to pay WL creditors and once cleared passed on to us in dividends? I guess something would be better than nothing, had already written this one off so any return would be a bonus I guess!
Hi tlpo Was hoping to go and meet up with other shareholders on this bb; unfortunately, but possibly fortunately for Mr Riches I never heard if anyone was going, so I didn't bother. Neil Riches needs to hang his head in shame, doubt if he ever will. I remember years ago Motley Fool wrote an article about this company and what a sham it was, unfortunately myself and possibly inktomi had already invested in the pile of $hite. Fingers burnt at the begining and fingers burnt at the very end. Anyway I hope other share holders have better luck with their other investments. I shall be keeping my eyes open to see if that $hister Riches starts up another company.
Did anyone attend the meeting on 14th, and did anything interesting happen?
Thanks, my very first post to be recommended. : )
