The court is sitting today in order to sanction the scheme offer. All up to the Judge now as to weather he/she feels enough was done by the company to justify sanctioning the offer...
Are we all doomed now?
Is the end
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LISTING FROM THE OFFICIAL LIST
I could also be wrong on that!!!
Today was the last day for share transfer for CVR's. Court meeting tomorrow to sanction the scheme.....IF the court sanctions the scheme then the capital reduction meeting will go a head on Friday. After which last dealings will be end of trading on the 8th of March..... Thanks Cipro....
Is it all finished tomorrow and then on the 9th new owners and 23rd you get your check hmm we will see other one is do we get the 5p haven't read yea or ney any where ATB and fnx to del for posting over the last years
I assume by "we" you mean either the royle we or else you mean "you"...LOL The thread remains open as long as the stock remains listed....If you are getting bored with any of the posts.....well that your affair......You may not have to be bored for much longer.....:-)
Dear Boy, we haven't the time, so take the 10p and move on , for heavens sake. This is all becoming boring, and we deserve to lose the lot!
And we don't benefit a penny because of this rip-off rade. They must be laughing. As long as the China Gas Holding's share price increases there is no incentive for the raiders to sell any of those shares within the time limit they themselves set - another reason why we won't get the 5p later.
National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced that it will abandon the two-track standard of natural gas station prices for stock and increment and slash the natural gas price from 1 April. According to The Beijing News, this price cut aims to remove the price gap between stock and increment natural gas. Industry experts estimated that the change will save companies' gas cost by RMB30 billion. Put on nearly 10% today alone...:-) http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/384:HK
Do not like the sound of non disclosure agreement. Nor lack of amount stated. We may not like the formal set up but at least we know the cheque will come. Wakefield is not even authorised as a company.
Thank you for your advice and thoughts guys. I agree with you. :))
Thanks for your support and interesting and informative details on DMAs. Now it really is looking interesting with the share price ABOVE the guaranteed offer. So maybe something is about to happen
I agree with your remarks about this company (Wakefield)...I would not entertain them...Your quite right!!!
According to the Document, the effective date is the 9th of March. 08;00 am Cancellation of listing of Fortune Oil shares............ PROVIDING THE COURT SANCTIONS THE SCHEME AND THE ASSOCIATED CAPITAL REDUCTION.
I do not think we yet know when the delisting will happen before the "second" payment or afterwards. As a professional adviser in a former life be very careful a about dealing with a foreign company. I have looked up the website of Wakefield Securities and it is skimpy in the extreme. there is no note of their being an authorised company and it is doubt ful if you deal with them from the UK that you would have any protection whatsoever. Indeed extreme caution should be used in any cold caller remembering that the share register is available for all to see.
I certainly haven't!!! Knew one on me but after the 400,000 @ 10.75p yesterday, who knows!!!!!
They were not clear but they said it was an awful lot more than we are getting .
When will FTO be delisted?
Buying? For how much?
Hi Guys, has anyone been contacted by Wakefield Securities Limited,200 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10003, United States offering to buy your shares? and firstly asking you to complete a non disclosure agreement
Well..... having planned for a new home for me 10p shares I see that some bets are placed that it might be more. Either some investors like to throw money away or the reckoning is that more might be in the offering. I must admit to be surprised how blatent the 5p CVR was trailed as not likely, perhaps someone has mis calculated and the court might have reason to ask questions of the CVR. Dunno what happens then.... still we should know this time next week.
14:17:00 10.75p 400,000 O 9.90 11.50 Buy Someone is taking a nice gamble that the cvr is going to be paid out...buying 400,000 @ 10.75p!!!!!
This is not about wholesale or retail. Its rather more like ebay, democratic and unrigged. AS for MMs make a turn, well, they are not needed. My system is simple: As MMs i today's computerised world are a just an unnecessary relic from the past, their monopoly should be dissolved. By all means if MMs want to carry on they are welcome but please give some transparency and democracy to us private investors and let us deal directly on the board - if we want to. Direct dealing (peer-to-peer perhaps?) is done successfully in other countries but I have a feeling London Stock Exchange has a finger in this pie, as they get almost twice as many trades when everything goes through these MMs sitting in the middle with their 2-12% ripoff "spread".
