Roger re 605.5 m shares in issue. Worth pointing out free float is only 136.5 m shares. source. F/T Markets
Saxxon, there have been transactions since April 2014 that will change the number - for example, number of shares in issue atm is 605million. The July 2016 register supersedes the 2014 one.
Saw this posted to the web recently http://wsconfidential.com/technical-analysis-focus-rsi-watch-for-andes-energia-plc-aen-l/10914.html
Look at them buys coming in!!
Charts saying a 35-40 finish is on the cards. Looking tasty
This will keep rising until close like previous 2 days
Lo Kia likely to be back in the 30s again
Potentially see it climb again after lunch like it did in the two previous trading days
In that case what is your reason for today's fall. I think it is simple profit taking in an illiquid share.
Bio.... Got another Question.... On the company page under Aim Rule 26 securities in issue it states "At 6 August 2014 the Company’s issued share capital consists of 514,807,468 ordinary shares". "The company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury and therefore the number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights is 514,807,468" "In accordance with the AIM Rule 26 in so far as the company is aware, the percentage of the Company’s issued share capital that is not in public hands is 33% as at 9 April 2014" Then under Shareholders dated July 16 the company lists 9 major shareholders who have above 3%. This lot hold a total of 66.19% amongst them. So my question is where is that 33% or is that potentially included amongst the major shareholders? Outstanding warrants? Care to help me out here please :-) Link..... http://andesenergiaplc.com.ar/aim-rule-26/
This was at the end of the AEN's unaudited interim results dated 19th September 2016..... A possible clue to the rise?? Outlook "The Board is pleased with the overall results delivered by the development program carried through in the Chachahuen licence. The team is currently in discussions with YPF regarding a possible new development program to be put in place, which will lead to another increase in production from this important field. The increased production rate and the successful ongoing water flood program in the Chachahuen licence, together with the reduction of production losses in other assets of the Company, augurs well for the future. The Company is pleased with the results of the latest exploration program on the Chachahuen block, which have opened the possibility to develop new horizons. The business environment in Argentina is improving under the new pro-business administration. Foreign capital is beginning to flow into the country and into the oil industry. This trend augurs well for the future development of the vast Vaca Muerta shale formation; of which Andes has an interest in a very valuable 250,000 net acres". Alejandro Jotayan Chief Executive Officer 19 September 2016
BruceJamieson the speeding ticket came at 15.23. Maybe some of the sp rise can be attributed to the ex BP boss going on buying spree in South America for some investment companies, Aen are great takeovers prospect with its vaca muerta prospects.
Bio..... Cheers again.... I missed that one.... Think it's actually a good thing Canacol have taken that off our hands. Recent article I noticed.... http://www.desotoedge.com/stocks/andes-energia-lonaen-broker-roundup/46081
Could it that the RNS is not shown because there isn't one?
Come on LSE - we are losing faith..
Saxxxon, there has been a few changes since, with Canacol entering the equation. See below: http://www.investegate.co.uk/andes-energia-plc--aen-/rns/agreement-with-canacol/201511160700067557F/
BruceJamieson, I think you misunderstood my post. I'm fully aware of the process following close of trading and the uncrossing trade. My post was referring to the share being in auction from 16 21 to 16 30.
Sorry, Saxxxon, I was off. Glad you found the info. There is more detailed information on the following link: http://www.interoil.no/?page_id=103 Select the presentation from 23rd Dec 2014.
Standard stock market procedure to balance the books. You will note the sell of 30000 at 16.35 marked UT which means Uncrossing trade. Sell ones are less usual. The jobber may prefer not to load his book on a spike.
No worries, think I figured it..... Cheers. Came across this old article dated August 2014.... We've had oil slump since then but interesting Article no the less.... http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-2727814/SMALL-CAP-SHARE-IDEAS-Is-Patagonia-focused-oil-shales-explorer-Andes-Energia-dead-cow-bounce.html
Bio..... Hopefully you can explain this to me? What is the connection between AEN and Interoil? What part of Interoil do they hold a 51% stake in?
This was in auction for the last 10 min of trading. What are they up to?
