Monti, we went in 2017 lol.
Yes, ToT paid a seperate visit after the gang of four.
ZM fobbed me off a few times on my questions about the gas plant. I knew he was talking BS, as natural gas processing was my job. Everything else he said I swallowed, hook, line and sinker. He was at ease in front of an audience, as came across very calm and confident.
Have a listen to this Monti, I think it's quite fitting for us older peeps:-

Thanks for the correction Coggy. This trip was back in 2016, at the invitation of Zaza? In his presence, did you ever feel at any time that Zaza was a silent, two-faced, back-stabbing CEO? I must admit, watching him give media interviews and as well ans the investor presentations, he seemed quite shareholder-centric.
I believe ToT was there too but perhaps he did a separate solo trip because his notes and site pictures were posted on the iii bb.
Coggy, One of the three others must have been RR who loved Georgian Food and vine
and Bendick's Mints. You booked a flight and did your research. Impossible to fight over
an emply box, a basin of liquid gold, Deloitte may have the answer and HL must know
how many of us were caught.
Monti, your memory is playing tricks on you. ToT, Devex, myself and three others ran FoF. It was Mole, R8pilot, Wishful thinker and myself that went to Georgia, with flights kindly paid for by regulars on this board if my memory serves me right 😊
Great to see a special appearance from the iii-legend, Mr ToT himself. I recall you being one of the original band of brothers that made the trip to Georgia to visit some of FRR’s oil fields and reporting back with some cracking, independent info for the benefit of the ‘armchair investors’. You, together with Devex, Coggy and Fred, we appreciated your efforts. And I can’t recall for sure but I think you gents funded this trip yourselves. After all these efforts as well as making enormous efforts to connect and support the Managemnt Team, we find ourselves in this sad predicament. Also, during my quiet times, I start to wonder how Zaza managed to hoodwink so many bright and ‘street-wise’ people. I will also include Mole in this select group of highly intuitive and instinctive people. Having said that, this is not a dig at these people especially when you compare and consider that a highly authoritative figure like SN also failed to figure him out. I will again reiterate that ZM has a mental disease and is a pathological liar.
Going forward, I hope, periodically Mr Piscator can continue his ‘drop bye’ here to give his thoughts as I think we have a few interesting weeks/months coming ahead via Deloitte updates.
Looed - many thanks for replying, duly noted. I also wonder whether you have ever directly spoken to SN in your dealings with the company over the past few years, but if a delicate question to answer, plz ignore.
Ah thank you! A movie I've heard referred to a lot over the years but never seen. I've just read the plot summary and it sounds pretty nuts! Will have to watch it one day.

Maybe the company has employed legal smoke and mirrors leaving the hyena's to fight over an empty box, whilst the prime assets have been quietly moved elsewhere in anticipation ready for return in a different guise. Certainly saves on costs and litigation.
Ricardo2019,
Watch this film, not only is an outstanding film, epic almost some would say, watch this and you will see, I need choose my words correctly here, I hope the woke brigade don’t come after me.
The “mentally challenged” in the film go on a boat trip, the movie is best watched to understand my write ups, the shorters or whoever they are try to rile every real holder here, when they can’t do dicky boo about where we are , or change our outcome.
Great movie of a certain era with some truly outstanding loon ball ( whoops I couldn’t resist )
characters in it like Billy Bibbit.

Monti – I would say the news about Deloitte is certainly interesting and anything that gets these groups talking should be a positive. For example, YA had previously stated they were averse to mediation, so I assume they will need to revisit that position now.
Regarding the FIC case, in June 2023 parties filed a joint motion for continuance to July 2024. Typically, such motions can signal a settlement might be on the table, or at least allow space for settlement talks to take place. The NYC case is dormant pending the outcome of the FIC case.
Like with gambling, the house always wins.
Come to think of it, gambling is better regulated.
Lifeishard, You're gonna have to help me out with the 'boat trippers' reference please. I keep seeing it but can't work it out. Is it referring to shorters?
I asked a broker.
"Why am I broke?"
He had an answer which is the truth,
"Some win and most do lose."

Piscator1 , my wallet is slim so sorry I can’t help on that API..!
I hope my wallet ends up as thick as some of the boat trippers gang though 🙏
PS, have you seen the old man of the sea..??
Madp, many thanks for your input also 👍 appreciated very much.
There are many what I believe as real holders on this board and from the old ii board, they all give what I believe as honest and true thoughts on where we are, the “real” super sleuths gang , without Looed et al, this board wouldn’t exist, as simple as that really.
I tip my hat to every single one of you 🎩
Real holders who have very near given up like tabs……don’t.! Our money seems lost “yes” not a given in this coming good “yes” but this ain’t over,
Our leader, our very own “S”aint “N”icholas fights for us..💪👊
Don’t let the boat trippers get you down, Looed’s input today and my oh my it’s been very quiet hasn’t it, they might not have flew the nest today, or possibly on a boat trip looking through windows?
Who knows and truly who cares, as none of them can dictate this unreal game of chess being played.
To our leader Steve, in you and your team I trust, so I will await you shouting out….. check mate 💪👊👍

Well I’m definitely in the ‘old’ category now Lifeishard, but I was so much younger when I first registered the old trout avatar. The thing which gives me some hope is that on this site: https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_tx/0802558654 it would seem that Frontera Resources US LLC is an independent entity, but one would need to pay quite a bit of dosh to get an API key to dig a bit deeper.
T.o.T aka The old man of the sea ( best compliment I could give you personally , one of my fav movies )
You had me at “ what gives me hope “
Many thanks for the S.O.S response

It's so nice to have Tot giving his opinions on what is happening with FRR now. I really valued his opinions on this company when he was on iii. Hopefully we can all see some end in sight after for me since 2014 when I first invested.
I want to endorse Tot's comments about Looed without him I would of written this off long ago and he has taken so much abuse for him being the messenger from the company. Keep up the good work Looed. 👍
Nice to hear from you again TOT it's been a while and i totally agree with you the treatment looed has received from some fools on here cheers mate.
Of course this all assumes that the 1% which was retained was successfully transferred to FRR US and lies beyond the reach of the liquidators.
Life is hard - Tot here in another fishy guise. First up Looed is 100% genuine and shareholders owe him a massive debt for opening up a line of communication with the company. I am appalled at the treatment he has received by some on here and the general nonsense spouted by some.
What gives me hope that we will see some return on our investment is not the 1% retained by the company following the arbitration, but two other factors. First the fact that SN has been pictured hosting a meeting in Houston with at least two representatives of US oil majors around the table, and secondly the fact that license blocks can now be awarded in Georgia without going out to general tender. Add in the fact that the USA have recently been talking to Georgia about a strategic agreement following the latter’s recent strategic deal with the Chinese and it starts to get really interesting.
FRR have a wealth of knowledge on Block XII which is very valuable intellectual property so they are very well placed to partner with big oil in the development of Georgia’s massive oil and gas resources imho.
"Hopefully a good sign that previously contentious parties are now made to deal with each other instead of being locked in endless and costly litigation."
This is what I alluded to recently, only Looed states it far more succinctly!
