I wonder what happened to the Q&A sessions of this company. Looks like no one has questions about how this dog operates.
Showing my age.. you just couldn’t write this. I removed this debacle from my portfolio some months ago after watching my investment dwindle to a pittance. Perhaps a pessimist by nature but I said this was a write-off a couple of years ago but a NURSERY ?
Similar story for me, with very similar timeline. Looks like 20k down the pan :-( Anyway, here’s to hoping.......GLA
My holding here has been wiped out. Some would say it was a poor investment decision and you can't complain when it is going ok. However in hind sight, and the cherry on the cake is the company "investing " in a Chinese nursery, then I personally have the dawning realisation that this company is a "dump and dilute" scam company. Check out the uk policae fraud office website for types of scams.
IMHO
Old cars are the best. Good luck m8. It's Cleethorpes for me too this year. See you there.
Well I for one thought I had seen everything with Range under Gappy's stewardship and beyond. But I never thought of the final act in this whole sorry mess would be the purchase of a Chinese pre school education facility. I know what Bobo thinks, as he is over on WS. But I too would like to hear the final words of wisdom from the old timers who were around when I was. AV, the Dog, AndyMK and many others. Good night all. Nov!!!
Where's Howard and that woman that always repeated herself and went off on tangents, any comments for old time sake before they close the doors, or open the school gates.
I would say vote it down, but its all feels like deja vous.
My first and last foray into none blue chipped stocks. I have lost £5k, which is a significant amount for me and means I will not be changing cars for a couple more years or having a foreign holiday! I cannot believe my own stupidity, I first bought in at 16p (SIXTEEN) and have averaged down to 2p but am still 98% down. I know many have lost more and some got out and managed to claw something back. Lessons learned for many. Good luck all.
I too have written this off now. Deeply disappointed in the way it has been run. All too often the picture on AIM I am afraid as I have learnt to my cost. GLA
Yep .... I was one of them! Dreaming with 10 bag... Not sure I’ll ever see my money back, even half would do me nicely.
SORRY to hear that Pirranah
Hopefully your invest wasn’t too significant or meaningful money wise ... hopefully you’ll be able to recoup it elsewhere...
There were some guys who really belived the RRL lies and lumped in 10s of thousands into this pet poodle !
have been in here since 2011/12 from days of 13/14p and yes its correct 15p.
seen this go from 30p to 1.75 in 2008 to recover to 20p in 2011.
at which point i decided to jump in, having missed SOLG.... put half of my portfolio on this, given the assets we had once in production, expecting this would jump to 25/30p ... still waiting lets see what happens ...SEVEN YEARS....
Preschool shit in China. Seriously???
This company has gone to dogs. Even the dogs won't look at this company now. A management which cannot achieve their target productions for the past 8-10 years. I wonder they copy paste the reason for not hitting the target every year. At least this suspension will assure the share price will not add another zero at the front. Lets short this beast and have a peaceful life.
I feel sorry for holders here! I wonder if Range will ever come out of suspension? May be this is all a ploy from the Chinese to leave this suspended for 6 months so that it could be automatically delisted!
"We will also be undertaking a review of the oil and gas business" … that bit made me laugh in a gallows humour kinda way
More great news from RRL. They sure know how to disappoint shareholders again & again yet somehow make it sound positive.
It’s been the obvious plan all along hasn’t it. The company would collapse and land ocean would pick up what’s left.
Aim really is a dodgy old business at shareholders expense.
put this creature to sleep ?
Why's that then
Is someone writing to these idiots about the state of this company. Just in case they cannot see it. And what are they going to do to put it back on its feet? Bunch of incapable idiots.
Losers Board
Approval given for the share issue, 2.5b for and 30m against.
Less than 10 days, if the subscription to pay the 1.6m is going ahead.
If you think this will knock down the shares price even temporary then it's an excellent opportunity to sell now and buy back in later in the month taking advantage of the potentially material dilllution.

1.5 Subscription Agreement
The material terms of the Subscription Agreement are as follows:
(a) Variations to the Convertible Note Agreement
With effect from the date of the Subscription Agreement, the interest payment date for the interest due and payable under the Convertible Note Agreement for the 12 month period to 28 November 2018, being US$1,600,000, is deferred until the earlier of the date the Subscription Agreement is terminated and the date on which the condition precedent is satisfied (Completion Date).
The issue of Shares to LandOcean under the Subscription Agreement will be in full and final satisfaction of the Company's obligation to pay the Accrued Interest to LandOcean under the Convertible Note Agreement.
(b) Condition precedent
Completion of the issue of Shares under the Subscription Agreement is conditional on and does not become binding unless and until Shareholders have approved the issue of Shares to LandOcean.
If Shareholder approval is not obtained prior to 15 March 2019 (Cut Off Date), or the Subscription Agreement is terminated, the Company must pay the Accrued Interest to LandOcean in immediately available funds on the Cut Off Date.
(c) Subscription and issue
The number of Shares to be issued to LandOcean on the Completion Date will be calculated as follows:
Accrued Interest (converted into Australian dollars at the Exchange Rate) / Subscription Price
Where:
Accrued Interest means the total amount of interest due and payable by the Company to LandOcean pursuant the Convertible Note Agreement on the Interest Payment Date (as defined in the Convertible Note Agreement) falling in the 2018 calendar year, being US$1,600,000.
Exchange Rate means at any time, the mid-rate which appears on the Bloomberg Screen "USDAUD" at or about 11:00am Sydney time on that day.
Subscription Price means the amount per Share equal to the average of the daily volume weighted average sale price of Shares traded on the ASX during the 90 Trading Days prior to the Completion Date without reference to the sale price of Shares sold in:
· any transaction defined in the ASX Operating Rules as "special";
· crossings prior to the commencement of normal trading;
· crossings during the after hours adjust phase;
· overnight trades; or
· trades arising from the exercise of options in respect of Shares."
