anger just look it up....a cut in corporation tax enables companies to invest, by reduced taxation. increasing productivity, leading to better profits and also better wages... a cut in the top rate of personal tax means i am ok jack **** you....
Phunt73 - An opinion is an opinion and is neither right nor wrong you f*ckwit haha.
OK, I'll remember that next time you're calling someone flower, stupid or an idiot for having an opinion . Because you do that quite often. I know you're still young but you need to realise that just because you spend all day every day on the Internet, it doesn't make you more intelligent than everyone else and you don't actually know everything about everything .
so here we go... 17.44 yesterday you quoted "High earners will pay 40% tax and not 45%…..I wouldn’t say anything has been abolished? It’s hard to understand your angle because not reducing corporation tax is far more detrimental to the working class than high earners paying 40% tax…….
The windfall that companies have made through covid off the back of other peoples woes is staggering……why is that ok but 5% of high earners tax isn’t lol?
i rest my case my lord...
anger you posted that yesterday and i couldnt be bothered to reply at the time
"Is this going to become a very boring, pointless argument? Read the post……where did I say you were wrong? Me saying ‘I wouldn’t say anything has been abolished’ is me giving an opinion."
And your opinion was wrong , which was demonstrated to you very clearly and very concisely. The question was , why can't you ever admit to being wrong ??
Ego maybe ? psychological rigidity? According to guy winch , most certainly .
anger you say" The windfall that companies have made through covid off the back of other peoples woes is staggering……? dear oh dear...does that statement includes royal mail shareholders that are vilifying posties right now...
Wow!!! Triggered much haha chill out mate , you really need to get a sense of humour and get out a bit more , do you ever see sunlight ? A bit of vitamin D might do you the world of good.
anger you quoted monday 27/09/2022" 17.44 .High earners will pay 40% tax and not 45%…..I wouldn’t say anything has been abolished? "
phunt73... you was spot on...
and also significant on a share chat site as some people hang on everyone's word....
to which you refuse to be corrected..
anger its significant because you called me out as wrong and then twist and turn and avoid answering a simple question....
According to psychologist, speaker and author Guy Winch, most people who consistently refuse to admit they're wrong do so because they have incredibly fragile egos. They clam up and insist they're right, demonstrating what experts term "psychological rigidity", as a defense mechanism.26 Nov 2018
Just saying lol
anger one last time!!!!! has the 45% tax rate been abolished???
yes or no
Arsenal.. already been told rm want £51 off my wage pw, I don't except that, to give bk 2% is insulting I'd be about £47 out of pocket and that's before any other so called rise, so I'll be out for that reason first of all...
anger you cannot and will not admit being wrong will you?
@ ARSENAL
""""so look at the bigger picture instead of your pocket !""""
Wouldn't this equally apply to shareholders? You, for example.
You want me to take what will effectively be a pay cut and a complete overhaul of my current working week (not needed or justified IMO), just to increase profits that will ultimately pay you a dividend.
Is that about right?
to make it easier you pay zero tax under £12500....
20% tax between £12,500-£50k
40% tax on 50k- £162,500.
and the now abolished rate of 45% above £162,500 you pay only 40%
new rates as of 2023.
all are approx figures...
dowsie you have a personal allowance of @12500. which means you pay 40% when you add the two together...
Wolves you have obviously done your research but I was shocked to see someone who earns 37701 a year pay 40% tax there must a large number of people earning that especially in London
High earners will pay 40% tax and not 45%…..I wouldn’t say anything has been abolished? anger we had a 4 tier tax bracket and now we have 3... so how can you say the 45% bracket has not been abolished..
Band Rate Band Rate
£0 – 37,700 20% £0 – 37,500 20%
£37,701 – 150,000 40% £37,501 – 150,000 40%
Over £150,000 45% Over £150,000 45% (now abolished)
correct?
HH1AN2 this is about negotiated settlements for both the workforce and the business. So CWU have t9 look at the business going forward not just payrises ,as I said they and the RMT are still very Militant and Selfish so look at the bigger picture instead of your pocket !
Poor old Keir. After having watched the clip on Facebook of Dave Ward extolling the troops at the Labour party conference, insisting that Keir Starmer stands on the CWU picket line come Saturday, and capping it off by demanding the Labour party renationalize Royal Mail...I can well imaging Keir might not be too chuffed about being man-handled in this rather presumptuous manner.
I can see big Dave and co being put back into their box in the very near future. My, my...they ARE going to be upset!
Either that or Keir is going to be eating a bacon buttie come Saturday morning.
DON'T FORGET TONIGHT (7PM - CWU page) ON FACEBOOK!
Most important update ever by CWU...apparently.
Redundancies coming? Probably.
Arsenal make be you could think you are the selfish one wanting postman to take pay cuts and except any ideas rm come up with, they don't have a great track record ie consigne
AngerS perhaps they will confirm they are going to attend ACAS I know they did say they would write to the business with a response. If the business dont want any further talks ACAS seems the only avenue for meaningful talks.
I am reading that the business is pressing on with changes and of course the union are talking about escalation and a number of members are calling for more strikes, functional strikes etc etc.
Anger simply because the CWU are like the railway unions living in the past and selfish to the core ,they really need a shake up mate !
