I notice Junkie you don't comment on my substantive point, so no change there. i was wondering if your proposition about there being no short positions open weren't correct, it would strongly suggest your mate Afake was telling porkies about his great and apparently most successful shorting of san leon over time. you tell me?
Good call Redeyes!
Schadenfreude!
Was never in doubt......
The shorters cannot find the sellers and have now had to go round the mkt and pay the full offer price....
.. Lol
So Alaric, you should have shorted at 32p when you were advising people to buy.
I see your unerring judgment on investment repeated in your support of Pantheon Resources (PANR) only down 27% so far today but down over 90% on the year...but you can commiserate with the poodle, also a supporter. Maybe you should post the stocks you favour and the rest of us can run a mile.
'It will tell you that there are no open short positions in SLE.' sorry Junkie wrong again. lse will be getting their info 3rd hand and certainly don't have sophisticated sources on open short positions. the normal rule is that short positions over .5% have to be declared. if the lse info tells us anything it's that short positions in san leon are held by small people like daytrader types eg perhaps your mate Afake?
His grammar's always perfect...
Nother weak despurut ad homimen post frum the hypocrit they call samalarik desprutly tryin to keep his boss in luxury holiday an expensive property in dubi dublin and london.
no one is intrested in your 8 year of patetik ramping. everyone can see you a big big charlatan. you never got anything rite have you. lol.
The flat lease back thing as disclosed in the accounts is amazing.
The notion that a public company allows that through (whatever) internal control process is staggering.
'Mr readysteady. could go anyways. ups downs.'
'I haven't a notion what will happen post suspension' well redeyemines the trolls seem to have all angles covered. they have that wonderful advantage of being ignorant without it inhibiting their propensity to express meaningless opinions :-)
I stupidly bought this share nearly 2 decades ago ,loathed as I am to sell up, this has sat at the back of my portfolio on the naughty step. The destruction of shareholder value over the years is nothing short of criminal. I cannot believe anyone would post here(paid?) to support this crime of a share-where has this share price gone over the years?.Better still I would love to see a media reporter or journalist get stuck in and find out why this has happened and why senior management are allowed to get away with such shockingly high remunerations. End of.
PS There is no conspiracy here, I am purely a thoroughly hacked off shareholder, who thankfully has made returns elsewhere to offset this garbage "investment".
Red,
You must learn that when you're in a hole stop digging.
I haven't a clue how you short a share if you're a retail investor. Possible via Options but don't think they apply to SLE.
Now here's a little exercise for you to do.
Go to the top of your screen.
Find the icon "SLE short positions"
Press it.
It will tell you that there are no open short positions in SLE.
So please stop acting like a child.
And there we have it ---the full ABC of the shorting team---all getting a bit desperate now as time runs out for them to close.
-
-Only two days and one hour left, and all you've manage to get so far today is about 10/-
-
-Think you'll have to go round the market and pay the offer price.
-
-Watch out for the AT buying
Red,
Yes, I haven't a notion what will happen post suspension.....and neither do you.
However you've posted twice that you think Fanning is a genius.
I would agree. Anyone who can take over $18.5m in salary and bonuses on the back of unremitting failure is definitely a genius.
By the way, how is your investment in GCM going? From a high of 757p down to a current 2p that's some stock picking.
Mr readysteady. could go anyways. ups downs. masive gain if it go well but 15 yers histury showin oisin fanning the stockbrokur ideas never evur wurk fur anyone but himself. the man with milliuns pounds of property in dubia dublin an london. the man who spend half a million pound on 2 week holiday. the man with racehorse. the man who showud himself as lovin gamblin and risk takin. the man who taken all an not delivured anythink.
this simpuly a lifestyle bisness for fanning. it lookin like it bein protekted by supur rampur poster who bin keepin him in 4 leef clovur since the red lion wuz listed. samalarik. i aint a shareholdur eithur at the momunt boy. why wood i take such big risk when i get munney bak fur sure today an invest it in proppur regulatud cumpuny or jus get 5% frum savins.
the red lion. the shorturs delite but as them say on draguns den im out in case the dead cat bounses.
CJ -great.post exactly what was running through my mind this "excuse" for suspension covers a lot of unreported events.
Callas just stop guess and keep it short --your first answer was all I wanted to hear.
-
-, -------"I haven't a notion what will happen post suspension,"
Red,
To answer your question, I haven't a notion what will happen post suspension, but I think there's a definite possibility that SLE could be removed from AIM altogether, in which event your question is superfluous.
There's a lot of information that should have been disclosed via RNS that has been omitted.
First, if so many of the dominoes depend of the $50m financing, why has SLE not drawn down the MM Capital loan approved on 8 August 2022?
What is the problem with Eroton, MLPL and ELI's accounts?. Remember that there are SLE representatives on the boards of all those companies. Explanations are glaringly absent.
Regarding the arbitration, Eroton initiated arbitration proceedings against Sahara and GTB in 2020 under the terms of the JOA ...that's still not resolved!
Callas you've missed the point here----it goes into suspension at around 12.5p.
-While suspended ---The accounts will be sorted and filed, ---SLE will secure their alternative loan facility, ---maybe the Arbitration will be complete, and the $750 financing will be rolled out. --- Sle will fund ELI to complete the pipe, and settle its dispute with Brightwaters,--- all other debts will be paid.
-
-So Callas ---what's your guess at the SP post suspension ?-----what price on the re-quote ??
-
-One things for sure, it wont e 12.5p ---or maybe even 25.5p--- and only 3 days left to close those shorts.
-These look so very cheap at this price.
Previous AIM suspension in 2017 due to late accounts filing lasted 3 months+, as MLPL/Eroton accounts weren't available.
Now we have a rerun, plus no accounts from ELI Infrastructure. Eroton now lost operatorship and reputedly involved in endless arbitration. ELI being sued for a wind up with next hearing in November. If this suspension goes beyond 6 months then it's take it private or formally reapply for readmission.
Good luck.
Surely not bandit. Afake has always said he's a big player and been shorting this through the whole piece, so how can you doubt him? moreover Junkie has always maintained he has never held any stock in san leon, although that's pretty weird and probably irrelevant just like him :-)
What evidence can you produce that there are any significant shorts here? I think you will find it is much less sinister and simply that retail investors have been selling out to avoid being locked out when the share is suspended on Monday am before the markets open. No-one has any idea how long it will take for this mess to be sorted out as yet another suspension with no timescales, which is a pretty poor show on any measure even though Fanning remains ‘excited’ despite the fact everything going on around him is ‘outwith the company’s control’. I do wonder who believes this stuff! I suspect that Tosca will be less than pleased with Fanning and I would not be surprised if they decided that he has had his chance and some and that they now need to preserve their hitherto large investment here before there is nothing left for the SLE portfolio manager to tip into the Tosca pot.
Always---lol
Are you a ramper now?
SLE are due to be sus for a while from Mon while some accounts are finalised.----I'm guess this will take about a month.
-
-The threat of this sus has put the buyers off and the "shorters" have had fun, and have driven the SP down to this level.
-
---Will they now try to close those shorts before the last trading day on FRI.
-
-watch the buying and join them now.
