So how are they going to cover off the cost of these extra hours? I get that they want to stiff the posties for "X" of pounds per week. I get that they will try to claw back money on sickness and overtime. But this will not cover half of what i've mentioned.
Plus, the service will be worse than now. Something that the shareholders outside of RMG clearly do not care about.
Iam expecting no divi next year,Iam hoping they continue to the end regardless, then if/when it’s taken over those not wanting to work to the new rules get sacked…easy choice..job or no job…start with a clean slate…you don’t follow instructions…gross misconduct and out the door…seen it so many times…all those mouthing off soon keep quiet and look after themselves..I now have no sympathy what so ever with the workers…I hope they strike,I hope the share price is pushed lower for my own gain…I hope k gets the nod…I hope he takes over…
In essence I carnt lose…if k gets the knock back and posties win…I win…if he buys the company I also win…
But I gain stock at a nice low price…and it will recover…
Please keep striking:-)
@wolves Please stop projecting.
teslo i was taking the proverbial. but good luck with this mate as its hold on to your hat scenario....
@ wolves.
In this instance maybe they should have listened to people who know.
ARSENAL asked me what i thought the price would be if IA was to go ahead. I said under 2 quid. I could still be wrong. Did he listen? No.
I have a buy price of a quid per share. That's if IA continues. I may even revise it down if we are still in stalemate come November. Black Friday? Very very black Friday. Nobody is going to get F.A.
Amazon, Evri, Yodel all dumping their stuff on us for peanuts? Well, they ain't going to be delivered. Maybe TEAM Thompson can deliver these items.
Better still, get the heroes from GLS over here. They're doing a fantastic job i hear. Unless you read the reviews.
Is that all 19 days? Nobody will notice -I regularly go 3 weeks without a letter.,..and all the parcels Will go to the other carriers. After this farce all that will be left is GLS and a lpiecework leaflet taker letter operation
Truthfully, these days I mostly just post to see the response I get, if any.
In the big scheme of things this is all very insignificant to me.
Short-term there will be pain and casualties on both sides. Long-term things will work out however they're meant to.

@ispy...
me thinks teslo has been drowning his sorrows in anticipation of tomorrows SP.... perhaps he bought a big trench today ahead of the cwu broadcast.... shame he didn't wait until tomorrow...pmsl

All those who remember the board
They won't forget what they've seen
Obstruction of men in their prime
Whose average wage was obscene
O-o-o-o-o obstruction
O-o-o-o-o obstruction
teslo. you have 100 metre runners and you have marathon runners..... all are not as quick as others... management throw a bone to the quickies to get mail posted and their office cleared.... he will give a posty 3 hrs overtime to take extra out... posty can accept or decline...
@ telso.
20.46 post to 20.54 post.
One reasonable and well thought out post to another which is totally pathetic. Please read your 20.54 post in its entirety. Is that what you really think? It goes to show how little you know about this dispute.
Maxipad, when the sp does rise and you make your fortune , maybe you could use it to go back to school?
"Exactly*…*there not bothered*…then when the time comes to let the market *no *…they will say we have no money*…
*Iam *staying a fact.:-)"
*they're, *know, *I'm/ I am, stating and lay off the full stop, you only have one on a keyboard , it has to last.
Touched another postie nerve lol:-)
Tesla
because seriously if you're that dissatisfied with your working conditions and pay, surely you would just quit and get another job.
We are not dissatisfied with our working conditions or pay, we just don't want some greedy ******* changing them thank you.
teslo the management book the ghost hours not the posty....

N-n-n-n-n-ninteen, nineteen
Truthfully, if the employees had any conviction and faith in Dave Ward, they would strike from now to the end of the year or resign from their jobs.
As much as the BOD took 400m and paid it out to shareholders, the employees are doing the same everyday with the ghost hours they book, because seriously if you're that dissatisfied with your working conditions and pay, surely you would just quit and get another job.
Companies like Amazon, Uber and JustEats are always looking for delivery guys.

Oh dear. Let me give you an example of where this starts to go wrong.
On any given day we will have 48 (ish) staff in my office.
How many hours do you think are given to RMG by staff coming in early and not taking meal breaks?
We won't even mention what happens on delivery.
The very best-case scenario would be 30 minutes per person, on average. 24 hours per day. 144 hours per week.
Now if my office want to take back those hours, we can. If every delivery office does the same, do you know how much that will cost RMG?
I'll let you do the mathematics. You can borrow my abacus from the 1970's if you like.
Keep up the good buying.
Please read my previous posts…I don’t think there bothered….there comes a point when it’s a no brainier to buy…nothing goes up for ever…just like nothing goes down for ever…correct…once the price goes hopefully to daft levels buy and put away long term…
Please keep striking:-)

""""The company should really just ban any striking employee from receiving any over-time payments upon their return.
All most of them are doing is going on strike and then booking over-time on their return so they can fund all the unpaid days-off.""""
I 100% agree. In fact, i would go one step further and ban all overtime until this mess is cleared up.
max.... what a great way to run a business......
I don’t think there bothered…I would say from what’s gone on that they are just looking long term…as I said short term pain….the market always look ahead..if they can see smooth running long term and more money coming in there happy:-)

All most of them are doing is going on strike and then booking over-time on their return so they can fund all the unpaid days-off.
It will be interesting to see how both the market and company responds tomorrow with the latest announcement of NINETEEN days of strike-action.
There does need to compromise between the company and it's employees and probably some government intervention to save the employees from Dave Ward.
@ Rural13.
Post of the day. Absolutely brilliant. LMFAO.
The first word does it for me.
TEAM....I seem to have misplaced £400m can we all have a look down the back of the sofa....lol
