no more? will it cease to be? [sob]
I know f**k all - but I still know more than the c**ks at fool.co.uk
Bootledoger Agreed, either poor planning based on the information they had combined with no luck, which I think any drill needs. But I have waited 18 years already so won't be moving out of this, just hope I live long enough to see this Coke good!! Thanks
Esbjerb99: same here...don't think either of us backed the wrong horse - just had a twot of a jockey on board!!! DES put the drill in 6 times, missed the southern section of Sealion and (unbelievably) the WHOLE of Isabel and probably Elaine etc.....in fact it looks like they put it just about everywhere in their acreage OTHER than the many places there is oil.
I was thinking along those lines, they have both crept up a little today so so we might score if.RKH rise more than FOGL, had shares in the Falklands since 1998, Desire then to FOGL and now RKH. I put my money in Desire instead of RKH as I liked the name, I kind of dropped the ball on that one
Quaytec, thanks for the information, I was not sure if the price was agreed when the merger was agreed, thanks again
So to put it simple 100k of fogl shares will get you 29930 rkh shares at current price both worth about 9k
We get .2993 rkh shares for each fogl share so price of shares at any particular point will make no difference other then the value of your holding. Same price fluctuation either way today or after the merger
Folks, as a small investor in FOGL who bought in hoping for the best, I have read posts from time to time, more so since the merger has been announced. What I would like to ask is if FOGL share holders are going to get RKH shares at the price quoted a little while back or if RKH share rise will we have an enhanced value.
yep - you've got a point! Ha
Why this BODs have not come up with a renegotiation plan after the latest discovery........feels like this BODs have left us all to hang out to dry, while they fill their pockets and jog of into the distance. They have the ammo now to renegotiation the deal at a higher share price......if RKH dont want it at that........open the doors and let others in...........seems like Eegbvi was correct this deal was being discussed months ago and was just a matter of time.........before pen to paper
Do wish you'd put that damned gun away. !! FOGL is one of the SE top performers today due no doubt to people buying into RKH that way for Monday next.
Orbiter I was being sarcastic
Wish I was never in it in the first place.
Ants pants I wouldn't want to be out off this one over the weekend! !
ffs
in Wales lol
Thanks. I suppose at least - with the plummeting oil prices - we'll still be in business.
To be precise if you have 10k FOGL next Monday they will be worth 2993 RKH. If you hold an actual share certificate you will need to return that to the FOGL Share Registrar (address on FOGL website) and they will within a few days send you the new RKH share cert. If the shares are in a Nominee Account or ISA etc it should be automatic and you need take no further action. As an aside, this deal was clearly cooked up months ago as otherwise on the back of Isobel FOGL could perhaps have got 0.35 or so and of course had SFB been a success it probably wouldn't have happened. But that's life as the FOGL BoD screwed it up by not putting a maximum cost on the SFB drill originally. Hindsight is always wonderful !!
Thanks. Ironically before I invested in FOGL I was going to invest in RKH but felt I'd missed the boat after Sea Lion. It now appears I'm going to get anyway.
That's what it means. They'll convert automatically, 0.29 RKH shares for every FOGL share held.
You'll have to excuse me I'm Welsh...so does that mean when I check my HL account my shares will be RKH not FOGL?
Chatham
Where is the Erik raude going now, am I right in thinking there is o more hole to drill?
each FOGL share is worth 0.2993 RKH shares and will convert automatically
