Now that should be good for a conspiracy theory.
It's OK now. All sorted!
Hi Folks! What is the best way to filter Slim shady? The constant and bitter merchant of Doom is dragging my ****!
I'm guessing there are a few knob heads as well.
Wow Sakura that’s an impressive holding! I hope that you, I and the other suffering members of the LTH’s club, at the very least get out of jail with our initial investment. I’m at the stage where that would feel like a win and anything else like icing on a cake. Good luck all.
I am guessing that there are a few slap heads commenting on this bb
EL....was simply looking at LSE numbers and aware that these never can be trusted.
Just watched the M & M interview and clearly MC is indicating the positive levels of interest. Being asked to look at other assets "in South America" then might this be a part of a merger with an existing producer? He certainly seems to be stressing though that all the funds will be passed to investors, so a total sale is the most likely outcome.
Pull back I wish I had said that before onion cucumbered me
What are you basing that observation on Awax? The buy/sell indicater on LSE can't be trusted. Although I haven't been doing dummy trades today, it looks to me from the trade execution prices that 16.25p trades are probably buys, with 16.11p and below sells.
I bought today.
So that means that investors are going to fill their boots with the Open Offer?
Sakura,
I think the challenge here is not whether an offer will be received at a premium to current mcap but whether that offer, when factoring in the extant risks, will be one that the BoD accepts, and, if they do, what they will do with the proceeds thereafter.
May I suggest we pull back on the “onion head”references. It’s not polite.
For those of you who follow synairgen I was the person sounding alarm bells that the clinical trial results were likely to be positive but weak. I worked on interferon extensively in the 1980s and we know how it performs. I received nothing but abuse and accusations I was a fantasist..
Nevertheless I thought I would risk putting my head up one more time. Having been a Cassandra in the case of Synairgen I am not so downbeat on CNR. I have £200k of shares at current valuation and will be seeking my allocation. There is a valuable asset and, while recognising uncertainty, there is a basis for reasoning that another party will consider it worth acquiring the assets at significantly more than the current market cap.
I don’t claim to be an expert but just my opinion.
J
slim well lets hope he can sell it now to a prospective buyer!
Hirsch unless you took part directly in placings this is not even technically correct...
Spot on with yr post it’s been nothing but bull for years and wasting money if onion head was so good in the financing world why leave it for a more stressful why forward in life I spoke face to face and he’s could sell ice to a eskimo with the bull
How can anyone still believe the nonsense of MC?
he only told us bull**** for over 10 years and used up our money.
MR Bean would have run the store more successfully
Tester I agree with your logic, however if we have to make our decision by 11.59 on the 15/12 re exercising (that's what it says on III) how will you know if Directors have taken part before you need to commit?
Considering the sp is 1p above the offer price is this just not more Onion Head BS? More Scrooge than Santa really. You would hardly notice the difference if you bought on the open market but old Onion is trying to sell it as some great act of fairness/generosity to shareholders. Pretty laughable really, particularly as it as simply caused the sp to plunge. No doubt his email buddies have swallowed it hook line and sinker though.
I am not sure about most on here but I honestly haven't got a clue whether to sell, sell then buy, buy more now, take my open allocation offer etc etc etc.
If you look at the chats there is arguments for a rise and also a fall, I just wish had given me more confidence in MC based on his performance to date.
Equally do I wait until 11.59 on Thursday to make my decision re exercising. If the SP drops below 15p before then surely I should buy that stock, but then again if that happens will the offer be fully taken up?
Any advice out there?????????????
I believe the main reason for the Open Offer is to allow all shareholders to pick up shares at the same price as Jim Mellon and not be diluted. It is being done to be fair to long term holders and not because the Company actually needs £5 million at this stage because it actually says it is only looking for £500000 to £700000 for the next couple of months and it has already received more than that from Jim Mellon’s Convertible Loan.
I missed this piece of info in the open offer RNS:
"The equity markets have been difficult of late and the impact of US Sanctions as notified on 27 October 2022 has delayed financing. A prior offer of equity financing was subsequently withdrawn whilst the Company rejected a secured debt facility."
I assume they're talking about financing the mine build here (as opposed to just financing ongoing operations)? So Condor had an acceptable offer of equity financing that was withdrawn due to concerns about the sanctions, and also an offer for a secured debt facility that the board decided to reject (for whatever reason). Interesting. So it shows that there are possibilities to move forward here but the crappy timing of the sanctions rattled the market. Hopefully these concerns will have abated a little after seeing Calibre recover so as not to derail the sales process.
I'd be a bit suprised if the directors could participate TBH. Supposedly there's half-a-dozen NDAs been signed already. Quite likely that they have access to price-sensitive information that we do not yet have.
I'm guessing the directors will be able to participate as long as they're not privy to some extra information. Wouldn't be surprised to see an NDA break ranks with a first offer before Christmas, or as has been said they'll wait for the first mover. Much will depend on the current momentum in Au being maintained, plus of course politics. Anyway, I've a couple of busy days and don't want to miss the deadline, so excessive application at 15p been submitted.
