Thanks for ruining my day Shanta.
" "It might even drop back below 13p on the plunging gold price" - I was right. "
Predicting it will drop below 13p at 15:29, when it had already dropped below 13p 7 minutes earlier at 15:22, is hardly an excuse for self gratification!
Hardly "plunging", merely a downward fluctuation surely?
Calm down lad, nobody likes a noel it all.
Noel you obviously have an agenda here with the negativity.
10 bagger I agree is silly.
But this could have reached 15p this week.
Alas gold has dipped but anything circa $2000 makes Shanta very undervalued at its current SP.
"It might even drop back below 13p on the plunging gold price" - I was right. That sort of irrational exuberance - 10 bagger, 15p, etc. - isn't helpful.
Gold back below $2,000. Is this a smash down by the cartel so that the end of week price is below $2,000 - important for technical traders.
"Steady buys again today, this will leg up later like yesterday" - wrong.
"Shanta is a 10bagger !" - don't pollute the board with drivel like that. A few days ago we had people shouting "15p by the end of the week". Rot! It might even drop back below 13p on the plunging gold price
Yes, eyes on the prize and it's all about the operational update.
Be interested to know what folks think is a set of positive results.
For me, based on EZ's comments on January 2023 production, I'm hoping for 18k Oz Q1 production (pro rata 72k per annum) and AISCs per Oz around $1,200. That could be a headline number of circa $11m margin for the quarter after AISCS.
Any beat of that will be hugely positive for the SP.
Singida showing a ramp up to full steady state production and a bullish statement on that.
Debt holding steady (dare i suggest starting to fall slightly) and CAPEX costs falling off with Singida going online.
That's 'steady' to me.

Steady on with the hype. There are obstacles, one of which I haven't looked into.
Nairobi is (or has been) making claims on historic taxes owed. Some of it might apply to VAT waiver but probably goes back to Acacia/Barrick days. The country is 'bankrot' and is looking for $bns bailout. Ruto et al. continue to push for foreign mining investment failing to give guarantees, etc. This is Africa.
Shanta is a 10bagger !
I respectfully disagree, especially with gold prices at these heights, if Shanta has 3 M&A bids last year, before Singida and the gold price then this year has a lot more to offer. Best thing is to do is accumulate and wait for the fireworks
Phat, I think the smart investors already accumulated on the dips. Now it will be the sentiment followers. For me sun 11 p was topping up time. All looking nicely poised here.
the shanta share price reminds me of the birds in the road when i go cycling......you know they are going to move but only do so at the last minute when they really have to
we never get ahead of expectations, always lagging but then gold prices are a time build thing not a daily snap
Shanta is a sleeping giant here and those smart investors will be accumulating as we speak.
Another 10% day here, and it’s up to Eric to impress with the Q1 results and Singida production plan. Let’s hope he has smashed it out of the park
Steady buys again today, this will leg up later like yesterday
Where's Pubic777 !
Tell him the good news !
Under 25p is a bargain
I agree there will be a flurry once again today, 16p plus today these are still a bargain IMO
Gold $2043 as we speak.
Last time it was at that level SHG were at 20p.
We now have 45% increased production.
Plus incredible results from West Kenya.
This should really be trading 25-30p
Expect fireworks again today
Quarterly update then the AGM i believe.
I Guess 14p+ tomorrow till we hit resistance @16p (next barrier to crack)
The predictions are $3000 by the end of this year, depending on how bad things get obviously.
