Juvenile rubbish.
Try's your Patience this. 1
Up , then down again !
This has got to be a good little earner but the government keeps putting red tape and slowing things down, you get over one hurdle and the next one is higher.America has the right idea Viva la Trump.
Sorry, "mark the spark", but your whole persona is irritating, what with your positive spin on a dying company, etc, etc... We all know that shale gas is a good idea, but Igas won't take it forward. Do look up anal retentivness though it has little to do with the " prostrate".
You can't believe how pleased I am to be irritating you. You are the people who would rather be spending your gas bill on gas from countries whose population are accused of supporting ISIS than on generating employment and reducing CO2 emissions in the UK by supporting shale exploration here.
I'm guessing we're at or very near an all time low now, not sure exactly the equivalent in old money since the capital reorganisation. I do know it's lower than the open offer call price of 4.5p I doubled up at :-( What the hell happened in the last 2-3 trading sessions where it rocketed like a demon, then plummeted back down to a new low? I'm tempted to buy more and average down (again), but since I have no idea whats going on, common sense probably says just write off the investment and hope for a brighter day.
Quite agree, Bijaydoug. An irritating little company, almost as irritating as people who don't know the difference between Prostate, and prostrate. The mantra, Igas will be drilling in the autumn has also become tedious. The share price would have to go up to £10 to show a profit. My tens of thousands of shares seem very few, now they have been diluted, and the company is as much a damp sqibb as Fortune Oil was, if one had the misfortune to have held those!
If this company is so wonderful why is the share price continually falling? i have been here for a number of years bought in at average £1.22 after purchasing more from initial buy price of £1.31 .S o heres what i don't understand if this company is so marvellous why doesn't the rest of the market see it? or are we the only clever people onto it here? This share price sees more up down action than a high class brass.

Well spotted Phil. I prostate myself before you.
Last messenger shouldnt lie down whilst buying IGAS shares,, Its PROSTATE not Prostrate.
Volumes like this....must have prostrate troubles.
Someone's listening ...great trade this morning ...10 share buy for £7.84 but it's driven up the ask by nearly 1p ;-)
Guys, When I read the messages of the real investors (you know who you are. There are some anti shale protestors also hiding here) I keep seeing they judge this proposition on the basis of their historic price. That is one side of the coin, and thought for everyone different, for sure everyone lost a lot. However, anyone buying recently or now has a very fair/low price. For a share in a company that has a massive asset base, more or less no debt, can weather current oil price levels -15gbp, has its investments covered for up to gbp230mln, can compensate losses for gbp210mln, and has permits to develop shale portfolio. The shale development has been supported by the current government. Court has provided clarity for behavior of protestors. To be honest, at current levels it is a pretty good deal. If you don't see the above, best sell as staying in will not cut it for you. If you do see the above, if you have the opportunity, at these prices you can slash down your average share price massively. Buy big numbers. It is your best bet to recoup your original investment. It is a far better proposition then it ever was before.
You sound a bit bitter mate. I bought some of my Igas shares at 130+. If Cuadrilla had done their 3D seismic properly and not drilled into a fault and the Saudis hadn't decided to try to outprice US shale then we'd all be in clover now but we're not. I don't really blame the company. I agree a more balanced portfolio would have been helpful, I have Igas, Egdon and Weir, also keeping an eye on Hurricane. Good luck.

" then the share should really move ahead which will repay LT holders" Sure ... it's only got to go up 3300% to get back where it was when Igas stole Dart Energy and the SP started diving. Repay LT holders - that's a laugh.
Seems we got that wrong ! Clearing then boom !
Some better news for the new industry https://drillordrop.com/2017/07/31/ineos-takes-out-high-court-injunction-against-anti-fracking-protesters/
RNS - planning application validated at Ellesmere Port, now just months and months of planning permission wrangling,,,, aargh!! "IGas Energy plc is pleased to announce that its planning application for a proposed project at its site in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire has been validated by Chester West and Chester Council ("CWaC"). The proposed project is to carry out further tests on the rock formation called the Pentre Chert, including a flow test, to better understand the volumes of gas it contains. Subject to the receipt of planning consent and the relevant environmental permits, this operation will utilise the existing well and no additional drilling will be required."
Not sure if relevant but this appeared on the Daily Express news feed around the time of the SP rise. But no effect on EDR price so SP rise might be something more Igas specific. "Saudi Arabia has labelled Qatari criticism of access restrictions during the Hajj pilgrimage a declaration of war; as the diplomatic row in the Middle East threatens to boil over" Young new Saudi head of state might be about to escalate the dispute. Threats to Qatari LNG exports equals UK winter supplies in the excrement. Risk premium being bought into Igas price.
Yes quite a lot of people have lost money including myself. That doesn't alter the fact that UK shale gas is still a very good prospect and we are at last getting to the point where the viability of the enterprise can be really evaluated. If Third and Cuadrilla make a go of it then the share should really move ahead which will repay LT holders and be a real benefit to UK Plc (and reduce our carbon footprint), at a time when a spur to the economy is sorely needed.
Buy the dip then sit back and watch Igas GROW in my opinio
And despite all those positives, Igas has declined a further 16% since the Annual General Meeting continuing the unbroken downtrend for over 3.5 years. All that Igas can/has done is to sink lower. Every shareholder that has held shares has lost money, some have lost a lot of money. Any poor Australian shareholders (the majority of shareholders before the recent restructure) have lost 97% and there's no chance of ever getting it back. That's 97% lost. How can a company that does that still be in business? And how can it be that someone is trying to talk up such a flea-ridden mutt?
