As a famous investor once said: buy when no one else does it.. atb
This morning.
Increasing oil/gas small cap exposure - thinking omicron soonish provides jolt to continuing potential ending of global C19 related demand reduction, and crude looking strong recently whilst uncertainties around opec abilities reg supply (also clon today, after ntog & zen last week or two).
Thanks to those with deep Co knowledge posting thoughts/findings etc last 2 years or so that Ive followed.

Thanks Jasper, that's encouraging. Atb.
Gordon...I asked the question of this the other week, and was just told the meetings were in place to finalise ratification but were then cancelled due to Covid. The company are as frustrated as we are as investors that this is just dragging on. On a positive they are managing matters within their control, and we should see gas production by the end of the month. The tender for re-frac services has also been issued. The funding round is now concluded so they have all the capital they now need to press on and start monetising the asset again. We should see cashflow generation in February which will be for the first time in 3 years.
The market is not pricing any of this into the equation at present, and it'll only be a matter of time after the next news announcements that we should start to see the company share price re-rate.
I recognise that at the earlier placing they perhaps didn’t foresee such a large drop in SP (who knows) however surely there must be some appetite to reach that SP during first half.
Reading my mind Jasper. As I said maybe just maybe, this time it will be different. By the way, any news on why GOI approval didnt happen a month ago, as expected by the management?
Why do people always assume that after a placing we need to wait for the shares to churn? No one is aware of the investment strategies of placing participants and for how long they will hold their new shares. Just absolute garbage being spouted again on here.
Was thinking the same myself Joe. Of course it would be a real vote of confidence in Oilex if they just held onto their increased stakes. Probably naive to hope for that as they have almost always sold in the past.
Placee's will want want more than 10% so sp needs to move a fair bit befoer they sell???
Some nice action today. Possibly people taking their seats for the action!!
Boring but I'll give oilex some credit
Look wants happens if u don't play ball in India

Geo Global still waiting to sort out there GSPC problems and theirs started Earlier then ours .
A nice price to buy for the next few month while the placing gets churned
So we’ve got the money to frac one more hurdle out the way
As we paid for it thinking we are entitled to all the future profits
Let’s get fracking
Further to Oilex Ltd's (Oilex or the Company) announcement on 14 December 2021, confirming that it had arranged the funding required for the re-fraccing of the Cambay 77H well in India via an equity capital raising of £2.0 million (A$3.7 million), before costs, the Company is pleased to announce it has settled the final £1.19 million (A$2.20 million) before costs, via the issue of 851,071,499 fully paid ordinary shares (Shares).
Of the final tranche of 851,071,499 Shares issued, the Company issued: all of the Placement Shares under the Company's current ASX Listing Rule 7.1 placement capacity.
The full equity capital fundraising of £2.0 million was settled via the Company issuing shares in the following tranches:

Easy way to make money by placing shares good job
Placing shares
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Agree Ice. Been sat in this for a while from these levels. You got to look at the potential and picture now. Not what’s been and gone. Everything is to play for now.
There are thousands of companies you can buy into. If you are not happy or cant see the potential the MOVE ON!
But if you hold a stock then be excited about it. Some people bring their personal life into investing. They get married to a stocks and then b itch 24/7. Yes, you have to be realistic but its a very fine line. If you have a broken foot you are not going to cut it off? Gas prices are at record high. India needs energy or it cant grow. OEX will do very well going forward.
Seeing nice big buys today! Could be an interesting next few days/weeks!
Why buy shares then attack the sentiment of other share holders and future buyers
Simple fact is they’ve sold up
Spot on Toptuf.
Surely a 'deramper' is someone attempting to talk down a share in order to enter at a lower price, rather than someone who simply refuses to believe that we are about to take off into orbit. Can't there be people who own shares and are realistic about their prospects, or do we all have to either be rampers or derampers?
LetS go!
I have seen this move. It moves very fast! Im sure many traders are watching!
Next week then
Don’t listen to the derampers obviously out in the cold
so predictable , a few large buys ,many ohhh news is coming , then the drop again , fake promise ,all we need now is you do not want to be out of this one over the weekend!!!
