I remember it well. And, yes, you are. What else can you see in the crystal ball?
... at some of my first posts, and this snippet is from November 11, 2013: "My guess is that we might see a "no" from the CAB, since this would give them a possibility to pass on the final decision to the government (therefore not making them look like "bad guys", seen from the Sami view point)" I'm a good guesser :)
It isn't his opinion I object to but posting on a regular basis that the government don't care and this concession will never be granted is bizarre. Anyone who dares to raise their head above the parapet and contradict him is slapped down with such comments as "no chance son...wishful thinking..wake up...fantasy...skewed view...blinkered...b-off..foolish pride, stubbornness and rudeness about bad spelling and grammar (this isn't an exam, some people can't spell). Is that debate, no, its invective against people who say something he doesn't want to see posted. And he deplores censorship in any form (something like that) so he doesn't need you as a minder, he can cope with my pathetic insults on his own.
That’s someone else’s argument Mick... but I stand by my assertion, that whilst a public board, and all views should be respected; for the life of me, I do not understand why people post unless they are invested, actively seeking to invest or perhaps even divesting... Like many, I visit to pick up bits of information, sometimes to get an early heads up or test opinion. Not to antagonise... But Im invested here...
so ibjj is still a bully in your opinion? Because he has a different view regarding how this will pan out. Tosh.
Just Good Samaritans trying to educate long term holders about the dangers of investing on AIM and specifically Beowulf Mining Eric. It’s not negativity, and I for one are truly grateful that they periodically appear to warn me of the pitfalls of such investments. They really do care Eric... why else would they post?
If we don't receive this concession, then it will surely mean that wherever a reindeer is spotted, nothing can ever be built. Next thing we know, those with building merchants, plant hire and fencing businesses will be going bankrupt. Sweden will begin to corrode! Lol. The Sami does not own this land. It belongs to Sweden and all Swedes. We have satisfied the criteria for the granting of a concession, and there are other working mines which can be used as proof that mining and reindeer husbandry can coexist. Furthermore, we have in our favour, the Norra Karr ruling, Kallak being a significant distance away from Laponia, and the Lap buffer zone handily protects it from any activity outside of the idyll. The Government must stick to the law, uphold it. We also know Damberg's comments. The door for further "off criteria" opinion must therefore now be firmly closed, in my view, as encouraging anything unwarranted at this stage, would only mean fuelling an already malfunctioning, ailing system, and, increasing the damage to our private company would surely make compelling reading in court. In my opinion. So, what'll it be? Finally, I appreciate all views on here, but there appears to be an increase in conveyed negativity, in spite of the recent good, supportive news via RNS. I find that quite bizarre. Best wishes to all.
The main point is that Samebyn's reindeer, part of the year in Laponia, also has year-round fields and winter work in and around Kallak. If the current land area in and around Kallak can not be used by Samebyn for bait, collections, relocation etc., Samebyn is threatened with a collapse which also affects the world heritage based on a live reindeer husbandry culture. This approach is expressed by the Swedish National Heritage Board and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's statement that reindeer husbandry is of major importance to the world heritage's values, and that continued sustenance is crucial for the integrity and authenticity of the world heritage. The County Administrative Board also expresses concerns about the existence of the world heritage at a mining establishment. 3.5 The overall expertise therefore agrees. The majority of experts, the County Administrative Board, the Sami Parliament and the indirect Riksantikvariembetet and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency have all opposed the company's application for processing concession. This should be of crucial importance to the government's decision. A wilful misinterpretation of the opinions expressed.
I will avoid going down with the ship if I can but if I'm going to stay in here for the government's decision, that is taking a risk, because they might say No...that's my idea of realism. Some people think you can take a risk but not risk anything, I don't know how to do that otherwise there would be no such thing as risk. Therefore my motto is: Only risk takers are truly free. :-)
Apologies was intended. :-)
I just think its good to have at least a shred of realism as an investor. There are some people here who would be willing to go down with the ship and that's never a sensible approach. Anyway, I'll leave the LTHs alone so they can have their safe space. Wouldn't want to hurt their perception of reality.
Let me make it plain, when I suggested Ibjj is a bully, I did not intend to include AdamH90, maybe we had a slightly robust exchange of sentiment but that doesn't matter, I share his admirable opinion: " However, a decision does seem very close now!!" Apologies Adam, not intended.
are now buliies and abusers because they pose some questions, what utter drivel
I agree with you Mrplodge, its sickening, we were in a far better position financially this time last year when we thought the decision was imminent You must be feeling positive to be thinking of averaging down, I'm beginning to fear the unthinkable, that the decision could go against us. If it goes in our favour then the world and his wife will average down. ;-) Experience has taught me that the best place to average down from is 0.1p,
I will buy to lower my average when the decision is made. Better to buy at 1p rather than 5 I know but with a big average the effect is minimal. A very good gamble for new investors but sickening for us who need this to multibag before breaking even.
