I doubt that very much. In absence of news it will remain above 39. In my opinion ofc!
Nothing I have seen today results IMO for the SP to remain above 3800
Sry to hear Foxie...I'd avoid stop loss triggers during this decisive week. Manage manually. IMO.
KNOCKED OUT MY STOP LOSS. cRAFTY LITTLE BUGGERS
May be a deliberste drop for friends and family to fill their boots before taking it back to 40 and beyond ?
yup and my SB filled buy at 38.51 :-) see my previous posts here ;-) - there will be another bidder
Did anyone else see that brief dip a monute ago?
Why people selling more shares than buying? I don’t get that at all? Any ideas guys?
will flush out Pfizer and anyone else wanted Shire in the past. The board have nothing to lose by accepting the bid now as others will not want to be left out of the rare drugs market.

Takeda is nearing a preliminary agreement to acquire Shire Plc after the Japanese drugmaker sweetened its roughly $60 billion bid for the biotechnology behemoth, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
Rumours formal T bid close...clearly market more confident it will now happen. All will be revealed soon...ATB, Scfc
Just need a rumour of another party entering the ring :-)
A deal has been agreed with Takeda
Any idea what has happened? Shares up over 5%
Wow, I got my timing wrong by about 10 mins. Whoosh! Rumours abound now.
The stagnant price (24% below offer) gives me a bad feeling for tomorrow. Having a 24% difference is highly unusual unless there is a reasonable high chance of the deal not happening. Something just feels wrong. I'm amazed at how steady (and boring) the SP has been today and yesterday. I would have thought that there would be a multitude of rumours (some based on leaks, other on hot air) sending the SP violently in both directions. Very strange. I guess this is the calm before the storm!
Is surprisingly stagnant considering it finds out if takeda will make a firm offer in less than 24 hours :-/
