Hi Cardo. It was in the RNS of 15 January 2018:
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/BMR/jubilee-acquires-significant-equity-position-bmr-zede10jtbt237l7.html
I see France up to their old tricks again. They've banned people entering France vis Dover ostensibly because of a variant of covid sweeping through Kent. Remind me where Dover is. Oh yes. It's in Kent and is the gateway to Calais, from whence presumably the new strain came.
What's the betting when they manage to get all the other EU countries tied into the ban, they then use this as a bargaining chip for our fish stocks?
Could someone remind me how and when JLP ended up with 29% of BMR shares please?
Thanks for that info, very helpful
He only has half a thumb and a little finger left.
Cardo, fair enough. Bozzer is no longer our leader, he has left that post. Sidled off. He hasn't just become the Secretary, but this role holds no weight when compared to his relinquished post and the demise here which he has implemented and overseen. In my opinion only.
Bird may or may not have sold GLR shares, so how has that yet to benefit us here?
Difficult to see that he has done anything for BMR holders. Currently. Where are the RNS releases telling us what is going on?
Best regards.
This may help, see negligible value claim section: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/negligible-value-claims-and-income-tax-losses-on-disposals-of-shares-you-have-subscribed-for-in-qualifying-trading-companies-hs286-self-assessment-he/hs286-negligible-value-claims-and-income-tax-losses-on-disposals-of-shares-you-have-subscribed-for-in-qualifying-trading-companies-2020#negligible-value-claims
Cardi. Borrelli has a new job. He's in charge of the office shredder
AB has not gone away. As of this morning he is listed (Companies House) as Secretary, BMR Group Ltd. Not a new job, another job. Maybe add nepo..... to conflict of interest! New FD (RS), sure an "F" but as far as Companies House is concerned not a "D". When CB was appointed back in 2018 he listed 22 (current) Directorships/Partnerships, with BMR that made 23! Maybe we just have to wait our turn! He hasn't done nothing, alledgedly he has sold off the family silver (GLR shares). I wonder what our man (K R Thygesen) in Portugal is doing or thinks about what is going on, after all he is a Director of the company. Other than the sale of GLR shares, all other information is in the public domain or my views/questions. E&OE
Cheers for the info Voggy. Here's the RNS for the fooker:

Good points Alanis, I'd love for us to get the deal overturned and develop Kabwe, but if not, then I'd rather us be part of JLP and not relist only to chase a Bird project that may begin as a mining exploration play and end up with us selling ladies' lingerie. Allegedly.
Something like that. Think ORE.
Cheers Fireball. It looks currently as if we've been under rug swept.
Hi CEREUS. A new listing would be ok, we could then sell our shares, but the dilution to raise money for the listing and new venture might see most long-term holders off. Someone on here recently had a good idea, well it seems like it, insofar as we don't relist and chase another fantasy, lol, but instead we are offered shares in JLP on a 1 share for every 2 BMR shares we hold basis, in return for the Royalty. We could then sell our JLP shares or keep hold to see what occurs there. At present nothing has happened to suggest that Bird and Borrelli before him even had any plan to relist (forget the Callisto nonsense), to get us out of the mess, and we have yet to hear about what's happening with the Royalty.
As it stands, JLP can make headway with Kabwe, we may not see anything in return, and Borrelli has gone, escaped without punishment.
If we could look into all of this with a legal team I'd be happier, because surely what has happened to us is ineptitude by Borrelli at the very least. Now with Bird apparently having conflicts of interest all over the place, all he seems to do is give us no information, only so far notice of personnel changes. Of course, if we and GLR (if I've got that right) merged into JLP, the conflicts of interest would cease.
Hey, I'm just a little bit fed up. Lol.
Best regards.
I'm assuming it is possible to sell your shares privately but a valuation would have to be agreed and I can't imagine at this time that there are too many people lining up to buy them. Lol
Good point , will delve a bit deeper.
I cannot offload anyway because of the situation we are in . I guess it’s all about interpretation as well.
Thanks
Charlie. Not a tax expert but I would assume that as the company is still in existence and you haven't disposed of your holding, you would not have any offset rights.
Is it some kind of sick joke or just fraud . Why can we not take legal action against these two crooks. Borrelli TIR.
Found himself a new job. Obviously Colin had this planned.
Hi, Anyone knows of BMR delisting will justify BMR shares being classified as a loss which can be disclosed for tax purposes.
I assume its not challengeable , as of now it is zero value from my perspective?
Any amateur tax advisors out there?
Thanks
Not sure we will hear anything unless we conduct an old fashioned siege and flush out the Bird. The best bet is litigation and to get the deal undone, that will cause the Jagged Little Pill some concerns, it would be "Ironic". There must be a law about running a listed company and others with interest, for oneself, mates and other dubious partners. Borrelli was just a continuation, a wing and a prayer after the fleecing by Alikhani and Bird looks likely to be a parrot.
Like you I live in hope that something will eventually happen here . It would be nice if they just communicated with us to tell us if anything is actually happening . A relisting would be good , then at least we could cash in what little is left of our money , and put an end to this saga. How about Christmas for an update ?
Supposing we remain delisted and we don't even see the Royalty or anything in return from JLP for our Kabwe operation. What can we do about it? Serious question.
All that has happened in the last three months is that we've had a change of personnel and Borrelli has managed to slip away unchallenged, without any repercussions against him for how he's operated while in charge of BMR.
Bird is apparently proving no better, in my opinion. Nothing at all of any note has happened since he took over. Not that he's telling us anyway.
This continues to be a shocking display, not any sort of representation of our interests.
Only my view.
This is a total conflict of interest. Colin on 3 boards orchestrating an underhanded manipulation of BMR assets. How can anyone ignore such a position of control.
On the contrary Ruman. JLP is Leon's baby. At the moment, Colin's every waking hour is currently spent on GLR. And on a purely selfish note, I hope it comes off real soon. I've pretty much given up on getting anything back from BMR. Thankfully, the profits on my JLP shares should soon surpass my losses on BMR.
We have new leader now , Same old story it seems , why the silience , some sort of Progress - Update would be welcome ? Has anyone heard anythimg at all ? i suppose his focus on all JLP which is flying at the moment ?
You would like to think ther should be an investigation into how BMR list out on their asset but it goes long back and these slime balls tend to cover their tracks. At some point they have to do something but hope I'm around to see it lol
