Howl. Howl. Howl. Here's me managing with a Sinclair C5 up and down the M61 hard shoulder. Lol. Be good to have a slice of that cake.
off
.
Yes, the 600 cake it well ripe. A little slice over there, for those. A little slice here for these, a nice slice in reserve for the tomorrow people, and nice big old lump for us! Youve got me thinking now, it might be time to order some bent tin from Italy. 12 prancing pots under the command of my very responsible right foot. I could worry about the planet, and go electric, or, keeping to the green theme, I could pollute the planet, whilst taking gender-neutral lucas for a spin lol. Imagine that, flying down the M1 at mach 2, with the top down, her hair, would be all over her head, shed almost look like a woman. Lol. I blame you for that unnecessary comment. Lol. atb
Good points John. Ratings equals revenue. The sale of barge poles has recently risen everywhere except Sweden. Lol.
Who knows how long it will take before we get our decision. The government have all the information necessary to make a decision even when crossing the Ts and dotting the Is and while they might all be beuracratic,I don't believe they are stupid. They have seen recently how they have dropped in the ratings as a country to invest in (8places) and must know the eyes of the mining world are upon them re.this decision.A NO at this point after such a long drawn out farce would do them untold harm and push them further further down the ratings which in the present climate they cannot afford. Some say the Swedes won't worry about that but if economics don't come into it then I am sure pride will.A quick YES would restore an awful lot of street cred.with benefits far more reaching than BEM.imho. '
I feel that this is four years past its "sell by" date, so surely the cake is ripe now. Lol.
Afternoon. I agree with that, it makes sense (there lies the problem lol). Seriously, what matters to be seen is, those who are objecting, have been given, full access to the workings of the process. We all agree, there is no argument with that, or shouldnt be. The Government has had the CABs opinion/answers to questions, since early December, I think that was. Time to bite the bullet as it were. In my opinion only. atb
I agree..... They have all the comments and lets face it nothing new was mentioned in any of the comments from all parties. I'm not sure why we are not at the very least hearing from the Gov saying we've got everything from all parties and you'll hear from us in X weeks / Months / Years / Decades.........
Aye, Kurt would have said, if so. It is news. The silence is deafening, but I do feel it is possible now, not likely, but possible, that the next RNS will be the one informing us that we either have or haven't got the licence. This process has always been a lingerer, extension after extension of the final act, but we may for once have a shock surprise. You just never know. Would the Government need to give a deadline, if all final comments were in and there was nothing further to discuss? It could surely simply make the decision without the lapse of much further time at all, and inform the relevant parties of the outcome.. Only my thoughts.
Just checking in, assume Kurt has made no progress confirming a timeline from the government, will he ever? Talking of boring...my wife thinks I'm boring in bed and I get distracted too easily Well, I guess Id better get back to it.
My take on this is a neutral stance by MM"s for similar reasons. Sometimes they shake it up or down to generate some action. They are resigned to the fact that many LTH's are sitting and waiting the decision and are immune to delays or silly games. March winds and April showers will bring forth flowers in May,the 11th was my guess and it still stands.
Morning granite I agree with you, Our MMs have shut up shop. My take on this is that our MMs want to hold onto the shares until the good news comes and the price rockets. Then the punters will sell their shares for lots of money. If they encouraged our punters to sell now all of the shares would be in Sweden in no time at all. The Aktie mob are doing all that they can to encourage a bit of action but compared to their usual trading levels there is very little happening. There are a few weird trades going through like 2, 8,10 and a massive 21 shares. I've no idea what that's all about. Just my view. Probably completely wrong, I'm getting pretty good at being wrong of late. atb
Hi Granite. Aye, uninviting to all at the minute, but let's hope it's a sleeping giant matey. Good luck.
Morning all, just me and tumbleweed here. With a 20% spread the mm’s have closed shop on this share until news. Could be a slow, boring couple of months or an exciting couple of weeks thing is no new punters going to nibble on a 20% spread unless they know something, this should open up 50% in either direction on news, well i think so
Cheers Ed. Aye, pub sounds good. Maybe have an extra one to celebrate another quarter year notched off in our BEM saga. Lol.
Thanks for that. I hope that you and all of the surviving Bemmers have a good Easter. Our mob of 4 adults and 5 Rugrats have arrived so we will have a hectic but very enjoyable weekend. My two sons in law are desperate to get me down to the pub so I suppose I'll have to go with them, life as a grandad is very hard ;o) atb
First book you picked up. It could well be an omen that Ed. About time we had something favourable go for us as well. Can't be too long to wait now. Have a decent weekend.
Tintin - thanks for the interesting and useful posting in a quite some time. It's always been my view that while there's ore of that quality in the ground it's worth holding BEM shares for the long term, but nice to see a bit of speculation on the value once it starts getting extracted. V quiet on here; rather sobering to realise that the entire volume of trades in the day is less than my holding. Pretty much the same on Aktie. We just have to hope that the Govt gets round to announcing something soon. Meantime I'm getting my kicks out of BMN, which has gone up by 66% since I caught on and had its first institutional investors this week taking the market cap up to 125m. GLA
As you say Eric, anything is possible. I've just been to our local supermarket to pick up Easter eggs & other pressies for our mob of grandchildren. I looked at the kiddie books and the first one I picked up was "Beowulf the Brave" so I had to buy it. I've decided that it was an omen and I'm now expecting the yes announcement on Monday morning ;o) onday morning.
Have a goody, one and all.
I see they're off again this afternoon for Easter - they take this religion thing v seriously.
Looking at today's spread on the share price,it makes the MMS look like bigger burgers than the CAB or Sami.Happy Easter everyone.
Yes Ed, I mean, who'd have thought the Sami, being supposed traditionalists, would have ever used snowmobiles. Anything is possible.
Having seen the potential numbers the CAB/SAMI, and knowing what devious "burgers" they are, they will probably buy up lots of BEM shares and then start banging on about what a great prospect the Kallak development is. I'll now play my favourite song "Beautiful Dreamer"
