WINX is unbeaten, long may it last !

no worries buddie, not directed at you , just cr*p journalism, as Drmaccers states very well.
Also in Dr Ms post - "Interestingly Horseshoe hit oil/water at 4500 too."
mein gott, if they had just put that 1 line in the RNS then we would be over 10p now.
On the flip side, an excellent blogger is The iceberg, he posts factual, objective and reasoned arguments exploring the downside and the upside, with evidence and supporting data.
His last two blogs are essential reading imo
His interpretation from yesterday of current positon as posted on 88E board, 09h46
"The Nanushuk isn't called the 'giving layer' for nothing.
"Top set produces easily. important to note this is the earliest Nanushuk to be commercially tested. If wire logging is good it will provide a thick layer down slope from the main n3 trap that Horseshoe intersected. Horseshoe is too close to the main fault to benefit from this....Major major new Nanushuk find imo"
time to act
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if all the 26/26 oil drills were all commercial?
So Ben turnip suggest SP rally was “highly irrational” and quoted the first RNS as saying low end commercial etc.
I think it’s safe to discount any matket commentator if they can’t given get to grasps with the geology/RNSes/Targets/layers
RNS 1 - from a zone at very top of Nanushuk, not a target in anyone’s books, not even expecting oil show. It has maybe commercial oil. Interestingly Horseshoe hit oil/water at 4500 too. Hmmm
RNS 2 - they have drilled the main targets and had everything they would want to find at this point. No mention of water or of low end commercial. Draws further parallel to Hotseshoe data
They’ve also had all the right indications from the huge Torok
So if Ben etc thinks it’s an irrational rise then unfortunately it’s because he doesn’t understand or taken the time to research it properly. It’s click bait as it’s a very popular hashtag
If anything the COS has went from 30% pre drill to probably over double that. The pride and SPbondiscover is much talked about but the fact is the SP was higher than it is currently not long before pre drill so if anything is irrational about the SP it’s that it is so low.
Happy for Ben to argue all the finer points with myself at any time. The fact is he’s just plain wrong
Tiburn just putting it on here for balance need to look at all sides.
Look at this as well https://twitter.com/Liamaim

reads like a subtle deramp to me, i don't trust journos interpretation after maybe 1 hours background reading they have done (if that), or their take on a sgare sposition
Alo sam deramp negative slant (iss out a many positives) in this
https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-6786787/SMALL-CAP-MOVERS-Red-Emperor-Resources-shares-seesaw-news-Alaskan-well.html
even the title is downbeat.
i wonder sometimes if these journos/bloggers are actually talking about the same share I'm invested in as so many positives are ignored - if i hadn't done any research and saw these pieces i wouldn't invest
now what purpose does that serve?
keeps the SP low
for whose benefit?
for HNY to load up

could be a repost from earlier. not looked back far

Jof, you are dead right, been through all the RRL and RMP disappointments over the years, this is a refreshing change to actually be optimistic, next week is big
I think a lot of stop loss where triggered yesterday by MMs looking to pick up cheap shares...expecting a successful ride next eeek
I agree, we don't know as yet but FFS with all the disappointments we get with our investments, if we cant speculate and get excited when we are in this position then when can we???
timetoact
ive never seen a poster whose name so perfectly fits the scenario you describe in your post
time to act indeed
invest and win = retire
or set back a few years

Let's be honest we just don't know.
For all we know a major gave their information to show it's similar to what's been found already and are sitting with us as we wire log rubbing their hands with glee.
This week will show us what's happening behind the scenes and the picture does look good. Surrounded by oil....
Please stop the bidding war talk. We haven't even confirmed commercial oil yet and bids will not happen for months or years
Just watched the clip.... Did he say the resource stretches over 430miles...or did I miss hear?
..that's a lot of oil ;-0
Stop it imac1 ..... I'm getting way tonexcited now! ..... The bladder can't handle it.m;-0
Great posting overnight and this morning people. On top of all the research the other factor we seriously have to weigh up is what if Conco and Repsol both want our WinX well and it meets or exceeds reserve estimates..!!! A bidding war could start and then you can kiss goodbye to 20p the SP would end up way north of that..!!! Exciting times folks.
I agree. Winx will need to be sold. None of the JV partners have the financial muscle to be taking this to production. All of Armstrong, Oil Search, Repsol and Conoco will be keeping an eye on Winx results. Conoco especially IMO. They have some of the Nanushuk play but they will feel they have missed out on the bulk of it. Conoco exec quoted as saying ' We ask our geologists every day how they didn't see what he (Armstrong) saw'. Also Conoco ran a large 3D seismic study over their more southerly NPR-A acres ( need to check that, npra is federal land, north slope is state land and all these are right near the border, not sure from memory which side of the border conoco's southerly leases are on) and the 3D extended a huge distance eastwards into Armstrong's acreage. So they were having a look at what Armstrong had. This was before the OSH deal was announced. I bet conoco were sick. Conoco have some decent acres in npra but not so much in the southerly part of the nanushuk trend on the north slope. They have a block a bit bigger than Winx just north west of us + the small meltwater play to the east that already has a pipeline and is in production. (meltwater is where we started our ice road from as they have a permanent gravel road) . So conoco could develop Winx most economically IMO with just an 11 mile pipeline. Though Winx would be attractive to any of our neighbours given that they will be working towards full field development over the next 3 years. Another 400m barrels for them helps with their economies of scale.
LOL
