If no appeal then this was just another AIM bs story
What gets me is the bullish RNS statements - extremely confident etc. Wtf went wrong ?
I guess the west is supporting it because it doesn't want Uzbekistan going the way of Libya/Syria/Iraq - similar oppressive regimes now torn asunder by civil wars.
Aims are just a way of bods having a decent lifestyle, whilst the get funds via placing's to establish a company the smaller investor gets lured in on all fantastic news to be followed by another placing or disappointment. Of course there are some that spike and some small guys get lucky, that said many many ( a big %) go to the wall or suffer huge losses on the idea they are convinced that they can get rich with multi baggers. This one had a couple of those sniffy bits, Darwin and rab etc but all in all I doubt they done anything other than make nicely on hype parts and trading there in and well prior on knowledge of "very near future" and other rns comments going to be made at the right time for them. At the end of the day we lost all we had invested but I think this was more political than judicial reality. No way would anyone want to upset the usbeks as they are very necessary to be on side as are the allied corridor. without that there would be many problems. There is so much inhumane course, illegality's and corruption that receives very little pressure and much blind eye stuff from governments worldwide due to the compliance providing the only real corridor.
Or geopolitical expediency, for that matter. It's a dirty world out there....
It would have to be a substantial win which again could drag on for a long time and then would have to be collected which could also possibly take a long time. Then if there was enough money after paying all outstanding at that time , they state that the company would then become solvent again. Basically it looks over and even if not, you will see not a glimmer or a penny for a long long time. Sad guys, but that's life and good luck to you all
? If they appeal (unlikely imo) and win (more unlikely), are we consided to be paid anything from the award?
....have got their money back, but will they get paid ?? White & Case would have slapped their invoice in and headed for the door saying 'probably a good idea if you paid the $10 million and put a line under this...have you seen the price of gold recently....you've got a right result' !! Appeal - I don't see it, that one line about parter led was just a sop to the shareholders....if there was any intention it would have been sorted by now. BUT - once its all over I want to know what happened and if that means tracking down Richard Shead to his house, so be it. We are due an audience and an explanation. .....and what about Said Ashurov.....jeez, that poor chap is still banged up in some Uzbek hell-kole.
So that document states that the option of an appeal is still there, but the decision needs to be made soon. The $10M will, as most expected, will go to the litigation funders Gretton. So some news, but waiting to see if there is an appeal.

So, the Fat Lady has finally sung. Its been emotional folks!
What news?? Can't see anything on there relevant to us today
News out on BDO website
The stock is already cancelled from AIM listing so we can't come back. The only questions that remain is will they be appealing this decision and how did we lose ie when will we this report. I'm already assuming we won't be seeing anything of the $15m...
I think it unlikely that we will see us out of suspension. 28th jan In accordance with AIM Rule 1, if the Company fails to appoint a replacement Nomad within one month of the date of SP Angel's resignation, admission of the Company's shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled. No nomad has been advised so that will be our next line of news inmho. delisted, then what? I have no idea, but possibly bye bye.
Its gone again now
the share price information has reappeared at the top of this page....is it a sign that Oxs may be coming out of suspension!! Besides, we should be hearing from the administrators either this coming week or early the following...by 22nd if my memory serves me right. Let's hope its positive news, but don't hold your breath...
I'm told Mr Sean Daily the Oxus Gold mine negotiator who was shot in 2006 in Kyrgyzstan while getting the Oxus mine back is in High Court London as claimant having chased down one of the Bakiev family who stole the mine for personal gain then fled to London seeking asylum: Apparently all kicks off in London High Court May -June time: Hope Mr Daily gets justice unlike Oxus in this arbitration:
Thank you

Have you got the adm web site please
Whether there is or isn't, there will be at least another couple of years of delays here. I would suggest writing it off and checking the administrators website every few months 'just in case'.
I hope so but can not see it happening
?
At first glance I thought Sheado and Gibbo had cut loose on the inside just before news - but then I saw several million quids worth had gone through, which was impossible
