What news? The company already confirmed the agreement with the Chinese. This is just a news article about the deal and people clutching straws of translations - 'will' could just be an indication of future possibility in Chinese not a definite as it is in English.
If this news is in public domain then doesn't GCM have a duty to confirm this with their shareholders
You have to really feel for the people of Bangladesh, but this video from June just shows the problems they have and how the people are suffering!!!
"Cash-strapped Bangladesh shut its biggest power plant on Monday. The country was unable to afford the coal to fuel its government-run Payra Power Plant. The 1,320-megawatt power plant in southern Bangladesh had already slashed production last month due to fuel shortages. The move comes at a time when the country is already struggling with a sweltering heatwave that has created surging electricity demand. The country has already been facing long hours of power cuts for weeks now."

The company need to RNS the news. It’s leaked already and people are buying in. When it becomes formal I’m expecting a stampede. There aren’t that many shares available and those buying are tending to hold on. Most of the traders are out over the last two days and hence the drop but the leak has perked this up.
ICB888, hahahaha, i have already done that mate, but thank you for the idea ;)

If you want to get more in your ISA , sell one of your current ISA holdings and buy that back with your new ISA money. It’s probably unlikely any of your other ISA stocks have such good upside potential in the next 10 days as GCM.
More reasons why they need Phulbari to go ahead!!
"During the initial eight months of the current fiscal year, Bangladesh’s expenditure on interest payments for foreign loans surged by 100 per cent, reaching approximately $806 million"

“PowerChina, will design and strip Bangladesh's largest coal mine for about CNY7 billion (USD970 million).”

I wonder where we will be heading after a submission to hasina RNS has come out... surely excess of 30p?
With abit more volume this will pass the years high

Pappi, I am very much trying to keep my feet on the ground at the moment, BUT, like you, I do really believe that behind the scenes this is now probably a done deal, hence the MASSIVE volume we have had traded recently ……
To think it was only a few weeks ago we were sat at 1p 😉
Just noticed it's at the top of the article...senior moment :-)
They’re a massive company. This news is just a very small part of their overall business.
On the one I have received there is also a mp3 audio file called Power China Stock Exchange announcement, hopefully it will come through on the below, I actually beiieve this all a done deal now...

All green and peaceful here.
Another advantage is that you get more messages on your screen.
The leaks when this happens will be obvious to spot ;-D
Why did Power China's SP drop on 'the news'.
Soon I think ;-D
I'm not happy now hahahaha, I was hoping for it to stay lower until the 6th April so i could tuck more away in my ISA ... I wonder how many others were also hoping for that ;)
Positions taken searcher. It’s been in a nice consolidation phase for a while now. Next leg up is building and coming closer. The breakout will be obvious and backed by volume in excess of say 10 million per day.
Well I am not sure that for those that were hoping for a pull back to get in, are going to be in luck,... 20% up with 8.80 being paid ;)
I better not look at it then as don't want to give myself a heart attack :)
Gcm has already exceeded yesterday’s volume as it reaches 1.9 million. The sp is Up 14.8% at 8.5p and if this continues we could well see the 10p that nearly went a few days ago.
