Yes i see were you are coming from, i just question not if there will be a assett but if this is 3 years in the making and DW is so experienced ect.. then why since june not the suspension have we not had a signed deal just a question that is all not trying to "de ramp" or dampen peoples opinions on ceb as i am a holder and intend to be long term. Dependant on SP
David specified 'days, weeks, months' to secure assets. It's been four not eight weeks. The longer it stays in suspension the further the O&G package will be developed. Nothing we can do to influence things: however every day that ticks by is a day lost in David's book and I like that determination/drive in a CEO. Remember he has five more targets in the hopper I would say as a contingency plan. This venture has been very carefully pieced together and orchaestrated by a group of ambitious go getters in a country they love embedded in a culture they understand. Remember CEB is three years in the making and they have the old band back together and brought the 'horns section too'. The field owners lack technical expertise and have a unique opportunity to boost production and revenue, in current markets their options are limited and so the proposals after some tweaking may be too good to turn down. I'm attending the investors Xmas bash so hopefully will meet a CEB representative or two to get of flavour of the progress though time and space here ought to bear the sweetest fruit lol
I do believe in DW as im sure many others do but he has been in here since june time and we all have been told how wonderfull and exciting these "deals" are going to be but we are yet to see 1 deal made? I am not questioning that one may be done but would of thought considering how good he is supposed to be we would of had more than just words by now ?
No worries DW basically eased a couple of concerns I had, and put some things in context. He is aware of the "armchair experts" on Twitter etc and basically says pay no heed to any social media "expert". Him and his team do what they say they will and their track records individually back this up. He is looking forward to shutting the detractors up as much as the rest of us - give him time. In his own words - it should "be a ripper!"
Cheers b1gdeano for the post
The truth is we have not got a clue and as one was in since early September and one early October it being mid November they may well be still being mulled over. Either way hoping for an update soon so we are not ******* in the wind guessing.
This may not have been planned but it looks like things might not be going too badly for us. Everyone knows that the US Fed is going to raise interest rates in December. This will make safe investments such as bonds look more attractive to investors due to higher interest rates. This will make riskier AIM investing look less attractive. Add in to this commodities are unlikely to appreciate higher interest rates. Higher interest rates makes corporate loans expensive reducing new employees and corporate investment. Though lets look at CEB in suspension it doesn't have to worry about the current grey skies over AIM. Also it's likely that oil will have started to recover by Feb next year. Is it possible that DW foresaw these conditions and pulled a stunt in the interview like that as reason to suspend the share whilst the storm goes through. If he did that all on purpose then the man is a genius.
Well 4 weeks in and I can say I am at ease with my investment I have had some further communication with DW via email and can say that I have faith in him to do what he says he is going to do. Not many CEO's on AIM can be trusted like that I dont think. Keep the faith folk - we will be rewarded with this one
A lot can happen in 4 weeks so where do we reckon we are. No one accepts the first offer in deals so probably the first two offers were declined and a revised offers were tabled. Neither would require an rns. We know 1 was ready to go in so this probably is with the seller. Wouldn't be surprised if a couple more were tabled as they did say six in the pipeline. 4 weeks since suspension plenty could have happened. Hoping for an update soon DW is acutely aware of the need to keep holders in the loop.
I'm at the dentist with time on my hands so just looking back over our last days trading on 23/10/2015. There was loads of massive buys between 10k & 50k some lucky timing there ;-)
It will get to 100m in time, but probably not immediately. It will take some time to optimise the assets and maximise bopd. But once the quarterly reports roll in then we'll see how much cash they're taking :)
There has been threads going around talking about a 100m MCap... Which is more than 2-5p. I just got slightly excited, now not so much, haha
I think between 2p-5p in the day/days following resumed trading. Better guess once we hear about the assets
Guys, I bought my shares at .5p a while back and have been waiting for something like this to happen. Does anyone know/think/guess as to what the price to sell will be. Don't get me wrong, I understand that's the million dollar question, but it's obviously not going to end up as 0.001p a share or £50.00 a share either. What are the estimates. I was happy to sell at 3/4p when I initially bought but recently I have heard 24p-27p been thrown around due to how many bopd are produced? Any hints, tips, links would be appreciated
Mirror, your ticket to the winter warmer bash is in the post. Sadly, its not the London event as this is for select people only so its a room at the Old Dog & Duck i'm afraid. Still, you should be able to discuss where it all went wrong with your fellow detractors. Dress code is informal although suitable circus attire will be made available. P.S: Entry includes a free pint of Bitter & Twister, just hand your ticket in at the bar. Cheers
Come on children stop picking on Mirror :- )
DW had promised to come back and have a beer before Xmas. So either way I for one will be happy to enjoy a beer with the man . Even if no news before 3rd Dec not a problem for LT holders, it will arrive when it's ready and will not disappoint when it does.
Would be nice to get one before crimbo, but happy to wait another couple of months ATB
Be interesting to see if we do get an update before there appearance the inverstors event ? Possible but im sure they met investors before in september ? And not much was said before hand..
Here's looking forward to early retirement. It was already going to be early but why not make it even earlier.
Thanks for the heads up BigGig. Although your already "Not doing bad for a clown" I suspect things are about to get even better for you and us too :-)
Think there is only one real clown, or make that two lol Take your pick :-) Virtual £1 in the pot.
I'll second that Major !!
Guys spaces are filling up fast and I will have to close registration this week. CEB have confirmed they will attend 3rd December to the event so please register at the clowns website www.momentousevents.uk Not doing bad for a clown. Check the events page as many other companies will be coming.
