Smith, In answer to your question I will repost from a couple of days ago:
“ We may be overdue but it is outside CHAR’s control because it involves Government approvals. The first of these was the EIA 3 weeks ago as per this from the RNS:
“ Pierre Raillard, Head of Gas Business and Morocco Country Director at Chariot commented:
"Securing approval of this EIA is a major milestone for Anchois and is the culmination of extensive time and teamwork that has gone into this critical process. This is a key building block for sanctioning the project's development, alongside other activities such as our partnering process which is close to conclusion. On behalf of Chariot, I would like to thank the National Environmental Committee and the Ministry for their endorsement and support. I would also like to thank the Chariot team, our partner ONHYM and our consultants who collaborated so closely across all workstreams. We are fully committed to ensuring that Anchois is developed in line with best practice as set out in the report."
That RNS set the end game in progress as it was a prerequisite for the 2 further Government approvals we have been told are very close just awaiting a final signature. There is no suggestion that there is an issue with the final approvals which should land any day now. Clearly the Partner and Financiers will want all those approvals in place before they announce and commit. I imagine they are conditions precedent to deals that are already agreed. Keep checking for RNS at 7am each morning.”
Think we will get news of whats holding this back before the actual news we have waited for all this time. Its blatantly clear we arent getting it this week,if it was good news we would be easily sitting in high teens. IMO thought the last rns would have been the start of why it was being held back for it to get pulled back down. Think we will have another RED day again 😏😏
Maybe the catalyst for news will be the second anniversary of the drill results 😉
It kind of feels like🚀 off has been delayed.......(again)😞 Not even the👏are trying to talk us up🤷♂️
I’m guessing PR read Bb’s. If you read this, could you ask AP, JMW or DW to tweet to explain what stands in the way of announcing the farm out?
I think they quietly mentioned FID as being in the new year in one of their interviews. I am concerned we will not get material news this year. Not what I want but being realistic.
Did char BoD state delays?
ICB888 Thanks for your post last night 23.12 but do you know what these final 2 issues are which need sorting before the partner agreement can be ratified?
This is something I haven't seen mentioned on here. We constantly blame Char BOD for the delays but from what you are saying that may be unjustified.
Gauging by the trades/volume it doesn't feel like news is about to land🤷♂️
When they said that FID would come by the end of H1 ... I don't think they were talking about this year!
You never know, maybe we will get another surprise present of a further dilution...
Hello Veteran this from 12 months ago:-
“Chariot Limited, the Africa focused transitional energy group, notes recent media reports on a workshop held recently between the Company and representatives of various ministries and institutions of the Government of Morocco regarding the roadmap for the development of the Anchois gas field, offshore Morocco. The workshop was held as a closed meeting. The information therefore contained in the media reports solely represents the views of the authors.
Chariot will keep the market updated as development plans continue to progress, but, as previously disclosed, the Company confirms the project remains on track and that all parties are working collaboratively to ensure the timely delivery of the Anchois development, a significant project for Morocco, for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
“A year ago the project remains on track”… does that mean on track but nowhere near to the point it had been stated to be ?
Next RNS. December webcast ?
Yes Nick, thats my thinking too. This quote of "coming weeks" holds nothing for me personally, after all there is 52 WEEKS in a year,so its no surprise that this continues to sit at this ridiculous level. We would see some rise in SP if it was soon but for this week I dont see it happening. Oh well, maybe next year 😒😒
Aaaagh no RNS yet again. Going for a big BS before my coffee.
Coming soon but not today!
Stayed tuned folks.......

I’m still going for news this week.
We are already nearly 4 months over due.
In AP I trust! ☝️🤪😜😝😛
Totally agree Nick......There appears to be some short term memories here or perhaps there has been a special offer on the rose tinted glasses!!
Might just be me but I am really struggling to see any evidence of news this week? Historically Chariot is a pretty leaky ship. If major news was coming this week I would have expected volume to be much higher and the SP increasing to nearer 18p. Am i missing something that you guys are seeing? Or are we just basing it on the "exciting weeks ahead" quote? Surely we have learnt our lessons by now regarding that!
Snott I am just jesting.
I actually am fairly relaxed 😎
News must be highly likely this week as tomorrow,Tuesday will be 3 weeks into “our exciting weeks ahead”, which was said at the time of the last RNS announcing EIA approval for Anchois. Volume is up on Thursday and Friday at 1.2 million.
Goon, you are starting to sound desperate. Chillax. Enjoy the anticipation. It's on its way. The van just left.
Those with big holdings should check. I can currently sell my entire pot....
