Oh well. Thought it was too good to last. I'll write a positive Aminex post when and if there is something positive to say. Might you misunderstand the concept of balanced posting? Balanced posting is not a 50/50 split between positive and negative posts. Balanced posting is unbiased objective assessment.
I disagree it is all of our problem when posters use multiple identities to prop up their own argument (positive or negative) and they will continue to be reported. As for taking advice on balanced posting from someone with a 100% record of negative posts on Aminex, whose reason for following me onto RRL is suspect and has yet to even mention Range in any post I will pass thanks. Don't reply, this conversation is over.
Well let them worry about it then! That's their job. It's not your or our problem is it?
"Who cares about posters with more than one id...?" Well admin for a start as it is a clear breach of posting rules.
Congratulations celticheart - a huge improvement! Let's not slip back into the old nonsense eh? Who cares about posters with more than one id, and tiny trades that affect nothing? An objective assessment is needed and you are well-placed to offer it with your detailed knowledge of the Company. You just need to tear up those silly charts now :-)
An interesting article about oil and gas exploration and production in Trinidad. Range, in fairness did re-tweet some of this but the entire article is worth a read, I will clarify it is not just about Range but Cerp, Trin and Touchstone too. It also gives a great incite into the history into the region, pitfalls and prospects of this well established O&G region. Not a lot that is new to us but an excellent overview. https://www.baystreet.ca/articles/research_reports/edison/Edison-Exploration-watch-030818%20.pdf
Celtic. ....fair dues. ....you have at least tried to post a balanced view and I know how difficult that can be when heavily invested. ......... noticed you got up early to post it so well done
Celtic, fair play for the lengthy post. As Rainbow has said it is not entirely neutral but it is a lot more balanced and is probably the only post I can remember reading from you that is anything other than positive. That said, if you were not positive you probably shouldn't be invested. So it is natural to have so bias towards your position, I am not going to criticise you for this. Let's hope this is a watershed moment and you stop fuelling the fire and the trolls start leaving you alone. Fingers crossed for good news this week. KRO
Although Trin might do most of their own workovers the range of services offered by RRDSL is much wider than that. http://www.rangedrilling.com/services/
Celtic I think your summary was fine. Well down here myself but am holding hoping for better times but things are happening so slowly. I wrote to Trinity to see if they were doing much work with us but they said their supply chain was not in the public domain but they did say they did the majority of their work overs themselves. Pity about that.
I am accused of not posting a balanced view so here goes. When we were asked to vote for the re-acquisition of RRDSL my gut reaction was to vote no, which I did, because of the debt level it would bring with it. Am I sorry that the vote went through? no because it gives us greater operational flexibility and, as stated the aim is to make RRDSL an additional source of income, It will also reduce our drilling costs by around 30%. There is a question mark over all that in as much as we need to deliver solid contracts to make that work and, as yet details on those are sketchy at best. We do have one of the most modern rig fleets in the region, geographically well positioned to secure contracts both in the Caribbean and in South America. We also have an established relationship with TRIN, CERP and Petrotrin one of which is currently active. It would have been helpful if Range had been more specific about which in the last RNS so as to avoid speculation. We were told that we would be drilling 15 wells but that number has been reduced to just two this year. I was, like most people disappointed in this but on reflection I suspect that has a lot to do with the success of GY 684 which has shifted our focus from low cost shallow wells to more expensive deeper wells, hence the reduction in well numbers. Again I would like greater detail on where those wells will be drilled and a proposed timeframe. We were told that Range are in the process of sourcing a suitable pump to bring online the additional 700 BOWPD from Petrotrin, once again it would be good to get a firm timeframe for this. Does the outstanding loan worry me, of course but the balance of the consideration for the acquisition is due to be paid by no later than 30 November 2020. We have already paid 2.8 Million USD off this and my belief is that we will continue to pay this down as revenue streams improve. It has been a very rocky ride in this company and I am far from the rose-tinted fool some would portray me as but we are not some wildcat explorer hoping for that big strike, we have been there with Puntland. We are a producer with good assets both in Trinidad and Indonesia (yet to be developed of course). The company is more focused than it ever was which is why I still believe the BOD will make a success of this business. Make no mistake, it is still very early days in our recovery and a lot could still go wrong but we are finally heading in the right direction, all just my opinion of course but not blind ramping a balanced view.
Bounty good post. ......what is ridiculous on this board is no matter how bad the content/accusations in a post these posters would not report the post as long as the poster is ramping. .... failing to have balanced views on aim stocks and then failing to learn by your mistakes is a sure fire way to come a cropper
Your last paragraph referring to the Forum an Asylum. Yes, it's quite believable, after around 10 years of being in this share, I doubt anyone here is 'The same' anymore...,.deRanged Resources, no less. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Fn36l_z3WY The intro is almost the same as 'Mouldy old Dough!'
Celtic, The point is you DO NOT discuss the positives and negatives of Range, you post a completely one-sided commentary of Range that gets peoples backs up, and yes that includes me as I believe that if you actually posted a fair and balanced picture all of your haters would leave you alone but you persist in posting from a rose tinted perspective. You know I am a reasonable guy given the email of a few weeks (?) ago. But honestly, you are such a drag on the board, you single handedly fuel the trolls. Look at iii now, since you have left there, there has been basically zero trolls posting over there. You HONESTLY cant believe the company is as perfect as you think, you have ploughed in 10s of thousands into the company and have maybe 3k to show for it. I DONT want you to upsticks and leave as I believe that you are a real person but I beg of you, for the sanity of genuine holders, please post a balanced opinion. OR alternatively please say that you can see now wrong in Range and then I can see where you truly stand. This is not a personal attack but a plea to try and bring some sanity to a board that is like an asylum. KRO
I don't see discussing the pros and cons of RRDSL as bickering at all, that surely is the nature of discussion, it wasn't personal or abusive on either side for once it was a discussion. Maybe if more holders bothered to post their views (positive and negative) then we would in fact have less "bickering' as you call it.
Celtic, have to disagree, any trades below around 0.18 are almost certainly sells. There seem to be more sells than buys currently BUT the volume is frankly irrelevant. The total volume this morning is around the same as my holding and I am certainly no big fish! More pointless bickering being posted in the last 24 hours. Rainbow/Celtic, are you pair still bickering over the RRSDL client situation. Lets make it simple, they have a number of clients some they may or may not be drilling for now or in the future. The website and RNS do not clarify either side to the argument a huge deal but the simple point is that they need to secure more business, whether it is 1 or 2 currently, they need to secure more so bickering over interpretations over the information available is pointless and arguing over it for countless days is why meaningful discussion is quashed. Hopefully the half yearlys next week clarify some of the grey areas but I doubt it. Lets just hope they confirm the increase in BOPD and revenues. KRO
Either way it is academic at these low volumes, the spread remains unchanged @ 0.15 / 0.2
You seem to have missed these three trades, all of which are almost certainly BUYS 09-Mar-18 09:16:47 0.174 1,149,426 Sell 2,000 09-Mar-18 09:15:47 0.1767 1,697,793 Buy 3,000 09-Mar-18 08:29:05 0.1775 500,000 Buy 887.50
Trinity currently do the majority of work overs themselves so don't suppose we do much work for them.
Data analysis is down to LO not RRDSL who have proven they can bring drills in on time and budget for both Range and CERP. They also have an admirsble health and safety record.
The RRDSL we bought back bears little resemblance to the company we sold. We have new rigs and an efficient, well trained drilling crew but you choose to present it as being the same as it was.
"The longer-term goal of the Company is to establish RRDSL as a profitable oilfield services company, providing operations to a wide range of counterparties in the Caribbean and Latin America." Further information on RRDSL and its services can be found on the website: www.rangedrilling.com.
"RRDSL has one of the highest quality rig fleets in the Caribbean capable of supporting a wide variety of oilfield operations, including drilling and production rigs, cementing equipment, tracked carriers, tanker trucks, storage tanks, and a full workshop and pipe yard." http://www.rangedrilling.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/rigs.pdf
The website has clearly stated they have, in addition to the parent company Range Resources, three clients listed which you seem to not be able to grasp: TRIN, CERP and Petrotrin. The RNS does not say they have one client it says they are actively drilling for one client at the moment. Nowhere does it say on the website or the RNS that they have lost a client. I have clients that I am not currently working for but they are still my clients and when they have a suitable project I will work with them again. http://www.rangedrilling.com/clientsprojects/
Would you like to qualify exactly which client RRDSL have lost, I for one am curious, be specific you obviously have solid information on this or you wouldn't be stating it with such certainty.
