Hi Bounty, I am fine but having seen all the SP estimates over the years I realise they are pointless. My shares are in the bottom drawer until such time as the company shows a sustained build up in production, increasing cash flow and profitability and a significant share price rise. Luckily I am well enough off as to not have to worry whether these share have a value or not. I am just annoyed with myself that I didn't take my own advice and sell up years ago. A word of warning to anybody who needs major heart surgery, afterwards you can be on a major adrenaline high for weeks. During that time do not even think about investing because your judgement is impaired. It turned me into a gambler. As for the future of Range that depends on many things and not a little luck although I do think it could recover over the medium to long term. As I see it, if you compare Range to Trinity, Trinity has a bit more than 3 times Range's production and 3 times Range's share cap so at the moment the price is roughly right. How much RRDSL will be worth is anybody's guess. All the best Rex
I was intending to buy today after the positive assessments and anticipated year end SP projections posted by the well informed LTHs, but was a little confused by today's buy/sell ratio and delayed the purchase. Presumably all will be alright tomorrow and the SP will begin to fly?
That's assuming he can find his way back I presume.
Bollinger bands tightening? Sounds painful. How on earth did that happen?
Your saying trin have sorted their debt two positive posters are talking about it today heres Confoudeds post The encouraging thing is there still seems to be people buying these dips and the falls are shallower. Remember also over two months have passed since the end of year update and more profit has come in to pay down debt even further.. So stop with the porkys please
Nothing on Malcy's blog about Range yet but he did confirm that he would be reporting about Range on his return

Ah just been on trim B.B. a poster has just posted they hope to pay of debts this summer so not paid off. Also how promising Indonesia’s is with other co’s recent drill. Then said they have sparkling new rigs one goes down 4000ft good for South America as I said last week turn around company this is how you make money on aim
Rainbow, if I am honest, my patience in putting the buy orders through was worn thin and if I am honest I am hopeful over the news due at the end of the week so didnt want to miss the bus. And in all honesty we are talking a small mark up from what I wanted for a reasonably small purchase so in the scheme of things am not that bothered. I tend to agree over the RNS and really wish they would be clear in what is being said. I have raised this a number of times but it falls on deaf ears and it pangs of either lack of knowledge/understanding over PR OR something underhand, I hope it is the former and that the news over the next 12 months can overcome these issues. There is a definite chance that this has, imo, been oversold due to bad comms and also due to the concern over the debt. The next 6-12 months are critical to see where we are and it is a sizeable risk but am comfortable that with a following wind we can see many multiples of where we are now. KRO. Bounty.
Is out just heard it v positive. You guys really need to buy in or close those shorts. Trin has done 5 bags were next
I said last week I didn't believe we would stay at 0.2 for much longer. Despite the low volume trading it looks like we could have broken the support @ 0.175 having tested it a couple of times previously. Bollinger Bands are tightening and the MA looks to be heading for an downward cross.
Couple of chunky trades gone through not HUGE but in the scope of the dead market of late it is probably the most we have seen in a while (not intended to be 100% factual before I get pulled up). The Ask has also dropped to 0.18, this is bit carp as my most recent buy was at 0.2p and I have no doubt the haters will be all over this. But I am happy that the spread is tighter as this will hopefully encourage some actual activity, and hopefully not a flurry of sells (as there woul be little point as could have got a better price last week). Will be interesting to see how this plays out, could this be as a result of Range being a leaky ship or is it another irrelevant commentary on a sideways moving share. KRO Bounty.
Rex, I have seen you as a poster on these boards for many a year and I seem to have noticed a marked abruptness as to Range of late. I know you have stated you are getting on (not a dig) and I appreciate it cant be nice is seeing your hard earned locked up (frittered away?!?!) in Range but what is your view as to Range in the next 12 months. You were always reasonably well researched and quite upbeat, but it seems you are p*ssed off with the situation as it stands I personally think we are on the cusp of an upturn, I really hope that my optimism is reflected in both the accounts and SP at the end of the week. I think you seem ground down by the whole Range situation and that is entirely understandable. I would suggest 2 options in your position (this is not a dig as I have genuinely respected your commentary over the years) 1) sell up and forget about Range and live your retirement without the millstone around your neck or 2) bury these in the bottom drawer and check in on them in say 6-12 months and you might get a little surprise (hopefully positive but this is Range). The witterings on here certainly are not conducive to a good outlook, especially if you are at a low ebb in your holding. I genuinely wish you all the best and hope that Range repays some of the faith you have had in quick order so you get to see the fruits of this difficult investment. KRO Bounty.
Rexco .....it's just a bit fun whilst we wait for something to happen either way
I am not interested in share price estimates, it is a fool's errand, particularly with Range. All I do know is that the institutional investors will want it to get to 0.8p ASAP to get their investment back in balance
Celtic. .....I don't think your post was ramping at all and a reasonable assessment in the time frame. ........0.8 could certainly happen on a spike or good news but as always time will tell who is right
What is particularly interesting is the way in which WTI is closing the gap on Brent crude, the gap now just $3.45
$62.04 +1.92 +3.09% 2018.03.11 end-of-day Brent Crude Oil $65.49 +1.88 +2.87% WTI 1 Year Forecast $71 / Barrel http://www.oil-price.net/index.php?lang=en
There was nothing ramping about that post it was a response to a question and my honest opinion, subject to a number of factors coming together. The POO forecast is not mine but the industy’s.
I think where the sp is by the yearend depends on a number of factors, the result of the two planned drills, continued water flood development and RRDSL activity. I also expect see oil @ around $70 a barrel by year end. With those factors going to plan I think a conservative target of 0.8 this year is realistic. I agree with Axebob that we are oversold too, something the RSI sitting around the 30 mark on the weekly and 40 mark on the daily chart would agree with.
So considering were totally oversold as we stand should now be standing at. .4 with two more deep drills bringing us up to 1500 bopd + would put so at 1p+ lets see who nearest
Anyone hazard a guess taking in account news expected, market cap, shares in issue, the oil markets, general market conditions and sentiment with range as a company
