With the sanctions west has put on russia it will take years for them to overturn.
Amc is a tiddler they have no means to take it further. We will give the asset back to russia for free.
Why dont some get this simple fact...
No tax on Isa holdings!
Plus for those with ii I have just had a reply to my more than 5m vote YES,
"Your vote has been submitted for validation. As part of this process, the meeting should become available in your Voting Mailbox tomorrow allowing you to submit your vote if you so choose. If not, we will do it for you tomorrow anyway."
So ii have finally decided to make it available to all holders who are registered on their voting service.

7. you are accepting an offer in dividends, which means you'll pay additional tax on dividends.
SAY NO.
1. Read the RNS carefully and read between the lines. You should realise that AMC management is begging you to accept this offer as if it was the last opportunity ever.
Perhaps Vladislav Sviblov must have promised a huge reward to AMC management in order to persuade us investors to accept this ridiculously undervalued offer.
2. Events come and go! War will be over at some point, just like the .com recession in 2000, September11, Iraq war, Lehman Brothers bankruptcy and the credit crunch, Brexit negotiations, the Pandemic.
3. Look closely at the Crypto markets. When the Bitcoin reached $19k in December 2017 media and financial experts said all sort: Crypto was a bubble, it will never go above $10K again… September 2021, Bitcoin $61k.
4. Ask yourself: is Bering Metals LLC the only company in the world interested in Nickel?
5. LTH, you waited many years, why not wait another year or two?
6. LTH, by voting yes you are giving most of your hardly made savings to newcomers.
...... gone through in the last hour
Even if they do the mining plan, how will they get the massive funding required to take it further.
No western company will invest in russia, iran, cuba and venezuela still have US sanctions. Some investors are not thinking this out..
It's good to see that the license terms are highlighted, however we are still only being given 25% of the £100 million that was mentioned two weeks prior to the license terms.
Just to change the negativity I voted YES.
Everyone has their own personal circumstances and hence reason for voting as they do.
I have respect for that.
My own reason for voting YES is as a long term holder with an average of 8p at one stage, now being at 1.6p, have grown to dislike this share and it’s prospects. I had hoped for an eventual buyout at 25 to 30p. That has long gone. The current situation is such that I personally don’t believe that any improvement in the offer will be tabled. That leave you to wait it out. How long 2,3 or 5 years. Too long for me.
So I’ve said yes.

Western countries have stolen russians foreign reserves, russia will not allow western countries to benefit with russian assets.
Russian authorities set the cut price for kinross asset in russia.

You will not have a very long wait if Amur doesn't proceed with fulfilling the conditions of the license. They have to submit a "mining plan based on the GKZ stated reserves to be approved by June 2022 (Extended one year to June 2023- RNS dated 16/02/2021)". If they don't do that, and I'm not sure they can afford to, then the license is forfeit.
This idea that Amur can wait this all out until the situation in Russia improves is profoundly misplaced.

Just voted no with HL (1052009 shares).Prepared to wait it out ,been a shareholder to long just to give it away this cheap.Good luck in what ever you decide to do with your investment.

I've spelled out very clearly why i voted no and that it is solely based on my own personal circumstance, so declaring what % of loss i am on makes no difference. Everyone will have their own opinion based on their own circumstances.
Your comment;
"Lets say by a miracle a new offer comes even though svidlov has said its his last offer."
Why is it such a miracle? Svidlov wouldn't be the best business man nor negotiator if he proposed a deal that left it open to the suggestion he will make a further improved offer if rejected...of course he has insisted this low ball offer is the final deal on the table!
I am interested to know more around this as it is something i may have missed;
"The russian govt wont allow it to go through, the 35m offer represents 25% value of the project. Russia will allow it but any higher i dont think so.. at the moment the russia are anti west.."
Can you point to any publication or statement that supports 25% of the value is a benchmark for acceptance? How is the "value" in this statement calculated? That would make sense why this offer has been made if you can show me something to support that statement.
@Gazz - I have an overarching fundamental view that this war / sanctions will sort itself out sooner rather than later. The west cannot sustain energy prices like we are seeing for much longer and if mother russia is feeling the pinch due to lower exports etc... a deal will be done to bring this all to an end where both sides will save face. My view is - lets ride this out for a while instead of selling at the bottom.
Again - this is all my own opinion and based on my own circumstances.
Still dont know why anyone would be selling shares now when offer of 1.8p a share special divi and you get to keep ALL your shares afterwards.
Once special divi received the company will still be worth around 0.5p a share.
So logic and sense out of window.
Unbelievable.

Dont forget kinross first offer 680m, it was agreed but russia said no no. They had to settle for 340m.
KM project is in remote location they will require millions in investment with western banks unable to do business who will come up with the money.
Many will be 90% down and have vote no so it make sense, but you in your post fail to tell us how much you are down and then investors can analyse why you voted no.
Last time only 20% of the share capital voted, i think half the ones voted no last time will be voting yes. Lets see..
Voted no this morning, main reasons for doing so are;
1. I can't accept the price offered
2. Turning this offer down does not automatically mean we will not receive a better offer in future
3. Nobody knows what the world will look like in 6 to 12 months
4. I understand and can accept receiving no return is a possibility
5. I have written off this investment long ago and so I'm happier "gambling" for a better offer than accepting a low ball offer.
Dont forget, first offer was higher but was rejected due to the payments over 10 years. 3 to 4 months later we get another offer heavily discounted but with immediate dividend. Who is to say a rejection this time does not lead to a an improved offer with immediate dividend?
All IMO and based solely on my own personal circumstances.
Thanks for the heads-up on ii, TD2. I've just requested same.

You can send ii a secure message via your account and they will record your vote. I've done precisely that on my account and my wife's account and they've acknowledged receipt and confirmed that votes have been recorded. Try that.

No Gazzleberry you do not sound like a Russian troll.

With AJ Bell, voted over the weekend
Voting has not appeared on my ii account!
Has anyone else who is with another broker had the opportunity to vote yet as not long to go till the meeting?

You're right, this is not the right forum.
At the moment it's a forum for Russian trolls to persuade people to vote yes and for others to throw around childish insults. I don't think much thought is being given to life after Kun Manie.

A reluctant yes for me as I feel that this is as far as AMC’s flagship project goes.
What a wasted opportunity.
Not going to dwell on what could, or should have happened but hopefully lay down some ideas/way forward for the future (if any) of AMC. I’m not sure if this is the right forum, or putting the cart before the horse but here goes;
We need people with proven track records in whatever jurisdiction that we will be operating in.
Gold, diamonds, minerals etc. all have different methods/techniques/machinery in order to extract as much from the source material as possible. We need experts for this who need to be recruited if not already in place.
Only the big companies can operate in certain parts of the world due to among other things, logistics, geo political & security. Any new resource, if Robin is serious, needs to consider at least these. I’m assuming that the resource and thought into it is a given.
Any people within AMC who are not up to the new challenge, or with knowledge that lies elsewhere need to be cut loose.
We need people with proven track records in dealing and selling within any new market(s). Want to sell to the Chinese, hire someone who’s lived, worked and sold there in a similar capacity.
While on the subject of salary, Robin needs to align his with share enhancing goals if he is to remain in his current position. If not, he needs to go. The days of picking up his salary regardless of progress, value to the share price, or actually doing any work (from what I can make out much of the work over the last 5 years, or so has been undertaken by third parties) are/should be over.
Communication needs to be much better.
And, just a minor one that gets under my skin. AMC representatives who turn up for the meetings in London need to contribute towards them beyond sitting there chewing gum and grinning like a fool.
All the above, for me, is non-negotiable and should be the least we expect/demand from a competent BOD.
What will nato do with saudis, remove them from swift.. :)
Usa has the perfect banking system where they controlled everyone, there mistake was when they stole foreign reserves of countries. Brics will dominate..
