Is this a continuation from June and why the accounts are still not issued?
People are very touchy these days. Santa can't come to everyone's house. We do deserve a holiday like everyone else. Chillax and keep calm, have patents (patience)
Any comments to add?
Thanks SD and Happy New Year by the way (and to all). SD, you were recently had news about some potential funding discussion and were temporarily positive about the outlook. Is it safe to assume this did not progress past due diligence which is why it is now quiet again?
I am afraid there is no news forthcoming to me at the moment. It seems to me that the matter of their accounts must be the big issue for Neil Riches at the moment. In order to file them he will need to be able to demonstate solvency for any business to continue. So....in my opinion....very sad to say it...but its over !
The memorandum was not correct then. Any news from anyone? SD? I note that various WGP companies were in the London Gazette again in mid-December under code D1. I think this is just them submitting their Annual Returns though so at least some activity is still going on.
IT'S A JOKE!
the silence from this company is deafening.....
Has arrived. Will my shares? Lol
Both Fulham and NUFC have the flash up BB powered by Worldlink logo when you click on the links from the clubs websites. They both also say in association with Worldlink. Where as the Sunderland link has the Sunderland pop up badge and is in association with Betbutler and Worldlink. Is this anything to read into?
The Betbutler logo links to in association with Worldlink.
click on the betbutler logo at the bottom.
That was was the date of the last published Balance Sheet and Accounts. The annual revenue at that time was a mere £3,555.00 They are scheduled to release their Balance Sheet and Accounts on 28th December ....ie next week ! I suspect that they have a number of potential issues in getting to close a set of accounts....., not lease the very serious of matter of solvency..... ....that is a very serious issue.
"The Company is not required to comply with Chapters 10, 11 and 12 under the Listing Rules (significant transactions, related party transactions, dealing in own securities and treasury shares). It should be noted that neither the UK Listing Authority nor the London Stock Exchange will have the authority to monitor the Company‟s voluntary compliance with, nor impose sanctions in the event of a breach of, any such provisions. Chapter 13 of the Listing Rules contains provisions relating to the content of circulars and is only applicable to companies with a “premium” listing. Consequently, the Company does not intend to comply with such provisions. Listing Rule 5.2.5 (cancellation of listing) will not be applicable to the Company in the event a cancellation of its listing were to be proposed."
No material obligation I'm afraid as WGP are a Standard Listing and opted out of many of the voluntary obligations that a Premium Listing would be obliged to follow. The Listings Authority are not monitoring them under the terms of the listing. A list of the opt outs are contained in the 2011 Prospectus.
Thank you Breakdance. I would not necessarily equate WGP RNS or PR releases with being informed but it is good to know at least one area of the business shows some signs of life. It would be good to know from SD if the plan as previously identified in the documents he shared is still on course for a re-listing in a week's time. Has Stuart Canwell made a difference? An update would be appreciated SD.
Rumours, because as much as I would like to believe all the positive posts, we cannot until informed officially via a RNS.
In a nutshell... Positive vibes on here over the last week... Worldlink ARE in association with Betbutler in some form at least. Shares still worth ZERO, and astonishingly still nothing announced from the board to confirm any of the rumours...?
bet neil riches is hoping the world will end on friday...
Hello all. Looks like another big flurry of activity in here. Would one of you be kind enough to bring me up to date over the past week? SD, any news on the funding round you were privy too? Bingobob, thanks for the updates. I just wanted to say that SD has been around posting on the stock since February 2012, long before Stephen Pearson even knew who Worldlink were assuming that is who you mean when referring to Stephen. Please keep the updates coming, it is very nice to have new faces in here.
when it wgp going to release an rns we have been waiting 2 months we need some sort of answer - riches hurry the f up
i see it now
if you go to betbutler.co.uk from your iphone, just for second or 2 the betbutler / world link sign pops up and fades away. guess what that little pop says- Bet butler - powered by worldink boom boom
Not a problem, Stephen. Your guess is wrong by the way but nothing changes there then!. Breakdance - not fully sure however I believe it was something around the need to re-market/re-brand the relationship following the hitches which have been previously and publicly been connected to both.
Good news that. Do you know why it's now 'in association with' and not the previous 'powered by '
