I think we are due an update soon.
Hi Steve
All ok hope all well at your end.
I’ve had e mail replies from mr Zorab which were interesting.
I enquired about how much Leed acquired their shares for.
Answer 3 separate tranches with a blended average of 31 aus cents a share.
I also asked about any relisting plans and share options that were due to expire this month.
Answer Relisting is expensive minimum cost £300,000. Share options will lapse.
Regarding nxt company the website looks very impressive.
They were hoping to have an ipo at about $1.90 Aus a share so would make our investment worth around $2 million aus dollars.
Look on nxt website under case studies the chittering valley resort project is in the region of a $500 million contract.
Look under news section release 17.12.2019.
Together with other projects this is looking like a multi billion dollar company.
It’s just a shame that our directors couldn’t relist raise more money in the markets and even rto into Leed. After all we are a ready made company with about £4 million pounds of losses that can be carried forward against future profits.
Apparently nxt are intending on having a London listing. An rto would certainly speed things along.
Hope for some news soon.
All the best.
Steve.
Hi Steve, I've been looking at nxt and the Rivervale hotel due to be built in Perth and all the big talk from 2018 when it was to be built in half the time compared to the usual construction compamies out there. I see delays mentioned and postponed with a deadline of 2021? not that far away. I can't see the hotel yet or any mention of it in the press even before COVID or the bush fires. As time wears on I start to look at nxt and our fractional investment and think where is this going. LEED provide no funding to nxt. I have always found the LEED board evasive and skitter around the edges. I can't say I see much progress here and bought shares when the much talked about "rebirth of Leed Resources " was pumped out there. Maybe you have more info than me and I retain an interest because of the fact I put a small amount in here and look to what might come of it. Looks like my other piece of aim in dealing with FFR and the big talk from Directors there about doing big deals was a heap of dung as well so I'll never invest, waste, money in aim con companies again. Thank facko I had a small amount between the two companies and have lost that, and that's a lesson learned but at least its small time but some poor gits have apparently over £150,000 invested in these small companies and they've lost it all, ala FRR. Steve, unless you have some info I don't, I can safely say i'll never invest again. Hope you are well and safe in these times. Maybe the hotel is built and I missed it but you can correct me as you see. Cheers Steve.
Assume the NXT IPO is on hold for a while. Stay Safe everybody.
On nxt website they are now getting involved regarding temporary accommodation for the bushfire victims in Australia. Nice well written article. They are very good at pr. Although at the end of the day they are a business who want any avenue of income open to them.
Looking forward to ipo.
Priced at about $1.90 about 6 times our investment.
Even with a little dilution given the price our investment should be worth at least $1.5 million about a £1 million. IMO potential to multibag from initial ipo price.
Had a further e mail from company. I queried about directors share options which expire in April.
Apparently they will lapse. Regarding relisting no plans at the moment although not ruled out.
I’m still hoping nxt will reverse into Leed a ready made company with about 4 million pounds of available tax losses. Worth nearly a million in Corporation Tax savings,
Back to the bottom draw then. Thanks for getting back - excitement over.
31 cents had a reply.
Does seem very high price to pay given that we got in early.
Also not much of a discount/bargain for getting in early if they got a convertible loan in issue at 35cents currently
Looking at the post ipo fundraising nxt say they have about 75 million shares in issue that have raised just over 3 million aus dollars. So could be .31 cent so would then give us just under 10 million shares.
I will e mail to clarify how many shares we actually hold.
If it is 31 cents we only have a very small proportion eg just under 1 million shares. In which case can’t see us getting much of a return.
Good morning to you.
Aus$ .31 per share so 31c I assume. I may have to clarify.
Or even 3.1 cents? Thanks
Steve thanks for the update - can you please recheck and confirm what the average price per share is as per email? Eg is it 31cents or 0.31cent? As that will make a substantial difference. Thanks
Should read 10 million shares.
Correct me if I’m wrong it’s the billions I can’t deal with.
I had a reply from Charles Zorab regarding how many shares we have for our $300,000.
The average is .31c a share so our holding is about a million shares so about 1.25% of the company at the current total shareholding. The forthcoming ipo seems to priced at about $1.90 a share so our investment would be worth about a million pounds or about 0.00064p.
A holding of a million shares would be worth about £6,500 if they relist of course.
I have asked him about the possibility of an rto into Leed as we do have a few million in losses which could be used against future profits. I do not expect a reply as it would probably be classed as sensitive information although our shares cannot be traded so maybe I will get an answer.
If nxt shares soar to say $5 or more our investment could get very interesting and maybe a return to shareholders. I’m hoping for an rto and subsequent London listing.
Imo leed rto into next.
We are other than our investment in nxt a shell company with a few million in tax losses.
The leed name would then disappear and we would hold shares in nxt tec.
All imo of course.
Our board have experience of fund raising so should be able to do so.
News soon I hope.
It will depend on the percentage and value of our stake once the ipo has happened.
I’m hoping for an rto but probably being too optimistic.
Looking at nxt they have the capability of becoming a billion dollar company very soon.
More news soon.
I think Leeds had around 3 billion shares, so there definitely be a consolidation.
Where probably have a 1 for 10 shares.
Still here Tank,Steve, LSE .
Just waiting
Happy new year to you.
Leeds stake was acquired very early so may have been acquired sub 5c a share.
Next are saying that ipo price should be $1.90 or more.
This would mean Leeds stake could be worth 40 times their investment.
About $12 million aus.
About 6.5 million pounds or .0002 a share. Ten times the price when suspended.
Looking forward to ipo.
Greetings to all the regulars on here. Good to see familiar names still around.
The news release looks very interesting, but as stated, caution required. Still, it's looking very positive at last.
http://www.leedresourcesplc.com/announcements/30122019%20LEED%20announcement%2030%20December%202019.pdf
Nxt has just over 76 million shares issued. These were issued at an average of about 4 cents.
Leed got in right at the start. My estimate is that Leed own between 10 and 15% of nxt.
Must be a case for an rto.
Relisting in London and company renamed nxt tec.
The big problem could be raising the finance although our board do have experience in these matters.
The probable outcome is that Leed shares are converted into nxt tec shares and Leed is wound up as far as the company is concerned.
We would then have holdings in nxt tec and be able to trade normally.
I think the only way they can have a London listing on aim is to have three years audited accounts.
Must be an rto into Leed as we have three years audited accounts and I don’t think they have They will then have losses to use against profits they may make.
Yes lots of potential & I reckon LDP have quite a decent size share of NXT.
Investment opportunity Leed resources.
Looks good to me.
An rto would be great.
