Ianfer.
The Market appears to not even be aware that Chariot exists, never mind the fact that they will commence a 2 well drill in the next week or 2. That, imo is why the rerate hasn’t already started.
As I’ve said several times on here already, this scenario ISN’T unique to Chariot.. The other day I asked for examples of AIM listed companies that anyone felt were being valued correctly by the market, and that had had success (of any description) reflected in the Share Price. Aside from 1 ‘tongue in cheek’ response, nobody came up with one. The market will wake up eventually, but AIM is so broken, it appears that Chariot are going to have actually make a video of gas coming out the ground, in order for them to be believed. When that happens tho, we won’t be able to buy at these prices.
People need to get away from the idea that this is specific to Chariot tho, it’s isn’t.
@ianfer - the brokers give the chance of success for each onshore drill at 35%. So surely the 'worst case scenario' is also the most likely scenario. And this scenario would also mean cash gets depleted, and Anchois becomes the only string to the Gas bow.
I guess my definition of worst case scenario and @whimax's differs quite a lot.
Whimax you make some interesting posts which are appreciated. But, if the "worst case scenario will see a significant rerate" then surely that rerate should already have happened? .... If every investor expected the worst and the worst happened , and you say that will give a rerate , well I can't see a better way to describe that apart from it being illogical. But I think I know what you mean - the sp is rather cheap whatever happens !
🥱
Hard to believe the heresay (which is all it was) about the seller being distressed.
A distressed seller wouldn't take 4.5 months to sell their position(s).
Just because some people repeat 'distressed seller' in every other post, doesn't make it true.
50-100k buyer is quite hungry today. I think those trades are not retail.
Well said Whimax !!
Suggest Mrplo heads to specsavers, short sightedness can result in tripping over your own feet !!
Not long before the long running activity kicks in, and when it does it will be nonstop !!
In that case MrPLO, you’d be as well selling here and coming back in July when AE is being drilled.
The upside potential of the Onshore drills, both with and without success in the deeper reservoir have been explained on here many times, so no point in going back over those, but imo even worst case will provide good to very good cash flow that will see a significant rerate.
If you don’t believe that to be the case and/or see the Onshore Drills or Funding as a risk, I suggest O & G maybe isn’t your bag, or that you’d be happier buying into ENOG rather than CHAR.
Anyway, I’ll leave it there, as it’s probably best to just let the Drill Bit do the talking now.
GL.
P.s. I apologise sincerely that the share price didn’t react the way we all hoped after the distressed seller (who, incidentally, as I stated on several occasions, was there) was cleared. My bad 🙏
@whimax I may have misunderstood your thesis then. I thought it was that a large seller was offloading and therefore that was suppressing the share price, or keeping prospective buyers away, and when that selling ceases there would be a big bounce. So I was wondering if that seller had stopped or not because the share price still seems to be struggling.
I know you think that a massive re-rate is coming any day now but I really don’t think the onshore drill will do much for the share price. Even if it comes in as chariot hopes (excluding Jimmy’s 1 TCF estimate), there’s just too little near term upside to cause much excitement, and frankly there’ll be more questions about where exactly the financing will be coming from.
I am more excited that the Energean share price is doing well. The stronger the position they are in financially come AE results, the more likely they are to go through with their option to acquire the extra 10% from us.
Not sure what your point/question is MrPLO?
Are you asking if “Thee” Seller has cleared? Yes, IMO he has.
Does that mean everyone suddenly wants to buy? I’m not sure, but Buys outweighed Sells today and the SP dropped, so you tell me.
A catalyst is needed. It might be Rig Mobilisation, but that’s not within Chariots control unfortunately.
This is a screaming buy imo, but folks won’t get it till it’s too late.
Folks paid above 10p couple of days ago now selling for 8.3. I love aim.
@whimax - any update on the large distressed seller?
2 weeks ago you said:
"Well, whadaya know!! Looks like the distressed seller has just cleared.
If anyone wants me to pass on any apologies to anyone, just let me know!!"
Is he still around, or has he cleared and there's just no interest in Chariot at the moment?
You might well get your wish at this rate!
I'd be more than happy to see this drop back down to the 7s before the rig arrives £££
Henry Sinclair.
Mistaken I’m afraid…..absolutely no idea who you refer to, however if it makes you feel better , I can be anyone you want me to be…
SHC's only desire is to turn this into an echo chamber of ramping and should anyone post anything that he sees as negative he will start posting like he does best, as Henry so aptly puts it "toys oot the pram" 😂
He even banned BDC from his main echo chamber for questioning the motives of one of his gang members and then acted like it was nothing to do with him🤔
Anyone seen our rig 👀as we are quickly approaching a month over due and still no official word on why or when 🙄
Maybe SHC will pop by and give us the goss from the "socials" where apparently chariot news is aplenty....🤥
Well said Henry. 👌 I think its safe to say that its SHC back again as an alias ghost of the past. It was rather pathetic to read his parting thread on here when he threw all the toys out the pram🥳🥳 Infact I thought that he said this was a "Cesspit" on here, jeez whats he like..... Oh well the suns out this morning, lets hope for some sunshine on this bloody thing soon🤞🤞
The Bold
Your posts are akin to old poster SHC. He would shake his rattle whenever anyone Q his or the companies narrative. It was once suggested the company would fund raise. He was most upset, after all he had popped into chars offices and shared in a casual cuppa and chat. Anyway, 3 fund raises later and he was no longer seen here. Keep the faith, everything the Company suggests will happen.
No AP. Means no Char.
Remember all those oil co listed on AIm. The AIM model is not the same just as Char the elephant hunter. Look how Sirius minerals transitioned from business model. I threw money at on oil prospector turned into gas storage. Prospector only to become HAL.. a prospective ship builder !!
listening to JMW is just like listening to Rupert Cole XEL.. could be forgiven for thinking they attended the same school of BS. Like an old Terence Thomas flick and the old school tie
It’s all about being the middle man. Without AP there is no Chariot.
Annual report shows they own 100% of Chariot Namibia. Isn't this there off shore interest? Should be worth something.
Don't they still have an interest in Namibia?

“NAMCOR has requested that Chariot remain engaged in the partnering process through a zero cost option to back-in after exploration drilling in recognition of the depth of understanding of the Chariot team of these licenses and the quality of technical work performed.

Thx Jimmy.
I'd imagine Chariot must be bosted by the Galp news...plus, as they now have an experienced operator on board in Morocco, I'd imagine there may be some interesting discussions about that 10% opt-in.
Whatever happens, it's another string in Chariot's bow!
@jimmy23
imagine if they have kept that license
