No big selloff on lack of news, which is a relief, so people are holding their nerve. (Aside from the late disclosed 140k).
If nothing appears later today, we see what Tuesday brings - I hope more than a Glencore loan update!
Investing for gummy bears, either suck their feet or bite their heads off 🤣😋
What is this Investing for Dummies!
LSE Market Holidays
The market also has two irregular schedules or half-days. The next London Stock Exchange holiday is Good Friday and will be observed on Friday, March 29, 2024 which is 2 days from now.
The last loan update was released on 02.01.24, but actually backdated to 29.12.23, which does beg the question why it wasnt released then.
We could get news during the day, after close of play, or 7am on Tuesday, all of this would still be before the market opens into Q2
Always intra day as well , I am going with the 2nd
I have emailed their Nomad Liberum pointing out the Glencore loan expires 31.03.24, & shareholders need to know its status. Also pointed out is is elementary investor relations that once a company publicly sets itself a target with a date attached (Strategic Investor, Port Operator), that shareholders are updated on the status of that target ie successful, delayed whatever, when the fulfilment date is reached. Shouldn't be necessary AT & Elphick know better.
2nd April at 07.00 am for me now. Working day in China on Friday so Tuesday looking most likely.
There's always close of play today.
It would be fair to say that this situation is not an enjoyable one.

The tension makes people snarky, everybody has a lot riding on this. Good luck to us all 🍀

Hmm....the horses are getting restless....
And still Shaun keeps putting his beak in where it’s not welcome…

And still extrader pretends to be invested here..
I've followed local media for some time and have noticed more outspoken discontent recently...and more to be discontented about.
You may feel that country risk is a 'known unknown', you can bet that potential investors in Zanaga will be interested in the current position.
Feel free to ignore and put me on filter!
I suggest you go back to the drawing board, if you think posting spurious in country news is productive and worthy of your time!
I wasn't asking, merely an observation which has irked you clearly.
We all know the in country and continent risks when investing in this part of the world thanks.
ATB, HTH, GLA, IMHO
PS
I was lucky enough to be able to stop work at 46, so have had plenty of time to find unconventional but productive ways of spending my leisure time.
Thanks for asking, though.
ATB
Most folk recognize that C-B country risk is part of the assessment here. As it is everywhere, including the UK.
HTH
What a waste of your time and my time reading that!
You must be bored in your retirement. Why not meet up with Dozy you two would get on well.
Usually, depeches devotes about 1/3rd of coverage to its footballers (domestic and overseas), so clearly important to the national psyche.

This isn't a good look (reported by Brazzanews, not a fan of the regime)
"Congolese players abandoned to their sad fate in Accra in a transient hotel (see photo)
Does the Congolese state still exist? In any case, in this year of youth, young Congolese athletes who participated in the 13th African Games in Accra have found themselves stranded for almost a week in this city due to lack of transport tickets. They are mainly young footballers, semi-finalists, nevertheless put on a mission by the Congolese state. They are today abandoned to their sad fate in a small hotel in Accra resembling a transient hotel and left to starve.
Faced with this sad reality, the Congolese Football Federation has decided to come to the aid of these athletes in distress. She made a money transfer this Wednesday March 27, 2024 to allow these athletes to meet their immediate needs. Furthermore, FECOFOOT has undertaken to pay for the tickets for the return of this delegation. .."
All a bit fin-de-siecle to me.

Let's hope it works for all of us 😀. I do not blame the management, the old structure with Glencore stuffed this imo ( the famous "option value".). That looks a lot better now, but not without it's wrinkles..
ATG the downside here has never been the value of the mine its been the management who have missed every open goal for 13 years. I am buying today not selling which tells you what I think.
Jiving, how can there not be a good outcome here now? Absolutely everything is pointing in its favour and success, why would I doubt it now? If it cannot succeed now, when could it ever succeed? Also, if it's good enough for Glencore, it is good enough for me. Positive hat unless told otherwise..
