Ponfy, it’s quite funny now. No buggar dare predict anything for fear of the arsewipes picking up on us enjoying the wait .. lol.
Thing is most of us are in no massive rush and have quiet confidence here.. could be a big week but easy does it regardless;-)

Could have been much worse Bob. Had she lived in Ireland, your cousin could have ended up in a cesspit, with a thousand other babies.

Hbob, it was missed because of corruption and abuse of power. Much of the injustices of corruption caused by greed, compromise and established power are still there. One of the great missed abuses was the power of Doctors, whereby even until the seventies people were experimented on unknowingly and mislead: I read accounts of people going in for something on there leg and getting stuff done to their brain etc. Big article in the NewScientist last year.

Don’t like many of them, don’t like any of the current lot. God forbid Corbin or Boris get real power. Didn’t like Brown much; but I think he was genuine, and outside of the UK it is an established view that he saved the economic system from collapse, so fair does there. As for Thatcher, could not stand her, but she was genuine in her belief..... also I used to work with an Ex- miner from Wales- he had hated Thatcher for shutting down his whole village, he protested, he marched, he did the year on strike. In the end he had to leave and come to London to find work, he is now a successful manager who will not die prematurely from silicosis and such, he sees the Sun whilst at work. His view is that Thatcher was the only politician that did anything for him. Funny old world, it’s full of unintended consequences.

That would be Harry Enfield you’re thinking of, the slobs where produce of Queen Margret
Of Grantham. No self respecting understudy of John Knox could live with them, hence the creation of working tax credits (funded by stealthy) £100 a week for Wayne, £100 a week for Waynetta. Not really a baby boom, more a takeaway pizza shop boom..

Whenthe £8 an hour job economy collapses they can all come play on your estate inky :-)
You can take pot shots at the very feral from the terrace or set the hounds on them if you fancy giving the trigger finger a rest.
The only new build and decent parking in my town is on sure start land... god bless the Presbyterian offspring.

Slobs

I thought Brown turned the nation into Slobs. Kids didn't want to work. Woman were getting pregnant for housing and cash. I actually knew a woman who admitted she was having kids for cash. Makes you wonder why Labour, are in opposition.

add to the previous successive govts post war have driven the economics of the country by promoting a living wage based on both adults in a nuclear family working and handing childcare over to initially latchkey kids, then nurseries and after school clubs then childminders which became increasingly expensive then short-lived breakfast clubs giving rise to feral children from a lot more broken homes living in second rate accommodation whose especially middle class family work all the hours that god sends. Never mind once AI gets a grip there will be millions out of work able to be with their kids all day Ugh!

Do you mean Gorden, who sold all our Gold. He sold when Gold prices were low. Bought high sold low. Same Gorden who left note for incoming Tories, sorry but spent all the cash. Very bright and compasionate. LOL.
