I too love the muppets, but you didn't answer my question.
Why would MM want to deliberately dilute his substantial shareholding?
He will have to pay for the warrants to be converted to reduce that dilution.
He wants the money for a reason. We can only speculate on what that is.
Let's hope it increases shareholder value by advancing one of the projects.

Placing
Today 11:07
The latest talk about the warrants as an effective placing is right - that's basically what it is.

But worse, it is clearly an EMERGENCY placing, as otherwise, why the rush to cash in the warrants months early, and why did warrant holders need such a huge enticement (double the number at a cushy price of 0.6p)?

It'll all blow over in a few weeks and then it'll be rinse and repeat.

Happy St George’s Day

Good to see the old bulldog spirit is undaunted!!

Carpe Diem!! I am going to clear another raised bed and plant out some beetroot. Bob, I’m taking a risk and planting out my sweetcorn! The average last frost here is supposed to be in the third week of March, so worth a punt, IMO. Worst thing that can happen, is that I have to do it again!

I’ll leave you all to your wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Thechaser. People know about the share, the problem is that means they also know about MM. There is no news from MM, why would there be? He is still allowing the rat sandwich to be digested. No more placings may have instilled some faith, but now we have had two more when we are apparently selling product (at what rates and price remains unknown to all and most likely MM too - remember that video where he clearly didn't know what was being produced). Yes I say two placings as the latest dilution is a placing all but in name only. Delays continue and I wouldn't be at all surprised if MM did not put clauses in the contract re delays and compensation. He is too busy chasing shiney balls. Over stretched yourself MM? I still remember how much you spent kitting at the offices in Italy with the pre CORO oil company.
Mogwhy. He has diluted his holding, consistently. He once owned several percent more than he does now. He was at about 22% (from memory) now he is about 17 to 18%. I didn't make a note of that at the weekend but did note that it has fallen.
Lots of confirmation bias this morning, to be expected mind. With Jaf leaving this BB is at risk of becoming it's own echo chamber of MM loveliness. I didn't always agree with Jaf but never filtered (or maybe once ha) him as a fair bit of what he said was correct, perhaps just the delivery at times was tiresome. Others are filtered because they are d%cks. Anyway the smoke blowers will shoot me down and we shall here the words 'it will come back'. It may. Those words being said should make people review the stock. I am selling a few now. A bank holiday review and this is starting to smell a little off to me.
NO gold update (how late?)
Proven financial miscalculations.
NO Regua FID (how late?)
NO more placings (really?)
Shareholder value (please read the RNS's to see how many times this has been mentioned and look at the continual decline in SP). Compare to ORM.
Copper update?
Licence update?
Grant - what are the criteria for this? What is the latest?
Anyone seen any 'thick and fast' over the past 12 months?
Lack of open market purchasing.
No salary....but he does take money doesnt he. More than one way to skin a cat.
NO interviews where he faces direct challenge? See what other CEO's do and many use more than 2 or 3 formats.
NO PR, and we pay how much for that sh%t? Consistently not replying to e-mails or other comms.
I will continue to hold some shares, but this share needed a root to branch review and I ain't happy.
MM has had every opportunity to reassure people after the last cash call. No. Why not? It is OUR company.
There is every opportunity for this to come good but risks have increased and reward decreased. Tungsten price...unknown other than right now.
Pays your money peeps. Pays your money.
I would love this to be 2p. But....
I have now put my armour on and will await the arrival of the arrows. :-)

Good luck Jaf.
A profit is a profit - most on AIM lose money so you have done well in WRES. I am up here too on my purchases and sells over the past couple of years but am just waiting for the sp to bottom and then will add - despite MM I think there are more profits to be made here when the anger dies down and time passes - no rush to buy - the sp is going nowhere short term.
Remember if a Chairman has his mouth open and words are coming out he is spinning a story or downright lying - always.

Blue Peter got it right!
I remember all those appeals for milk bottle tops, used stamps etc. Like the church roof funds, they had a meter that they showed every week, with progress towards their goals. That was great for keeping the children positive and motivated.

We need one of those now, showing percentage completed v plan. Yes, plus a graph of same, over time!

That’s much more interesting than waiting for the next RNS. Jig and mill commissioned next? That could be days from now! I will have to think of something interesting to pass the time.

:-))

Brand new mine that no one knows about! Just look at this board, its the same old posters that have been here for years, a few new ones but not many.

Given he gave himself some of the warrants he isn’t diluting his share...just ours. As far as I can see, on finance he has screwed up twice, Bergen was to his detriment too and this time when it wasn’t.
He has also screwed up for years having the same PR team instead of a PR team that actually knows how to market a company...

Sold the last lot this morning.

Since 2013 I have bought (and therefore sold) 25,199,927 WRES shares paying £119,794.45 for them and selling them for £129,933.26, a profit of £10,138.81 which is 8.46%. Not much for nearly 6 years investment but at least it's a profit.

Good luck to all holders here - I feel you are going to need it. Now that I am no longer a shareholder, I will not post on here again (I cannot see me buying back in) but reserve the right to report any post that is libellous of me.
