People are still panicky about anything about airlines. I'm going to sell about half of my holding at 2300 and if it crashes again, I'll buy back in.
Wizz reaching near the levels of recent highs as it circles an improvement in its SP and a breakthrough of the clouds hanging over its SP performance. The FTSE also has lift-off today so maybe the fact that the SP is flying today means companies are being boosted anyway but I have long maintained that WIZZ is worth 2800p at least. 2300p seems a barrier and if it pokes its nose above that level it seems to get throttled. I dont know why holders pack their bags on teaching that but a sustained hold above that level should mean sellers taking a holiday and hopefully further gains for us holders.
Right upto 30 sooon and beyond, this is looking very cheap now
Shorts increased yet again on the 18th 2.71 %
I'm in jet2 as cheaper play
If nothing happen over the weekend I think next week this will continue going up to 23 where it was last friday before that Iranian attack. And if we get some better news we might see the SP going even higher. Summer is coming, travell will pick up. The prices should also go up as Easyjet have indicated with their results. So I am hoping we will go above 25 coming into may.
Just my opionion as always
Word on the grapevine is Iran is not going to retaliate to the missile attack by Israel. Could we see £23-£24 sp next week again
Israel attack Iran all flights to tel aviv will be suspended. How low will the sp drop this morning
Millenium Capital reduced their short on 15th. I expect shorts have reduced further today, given the SP movement
Not touching it until shorts go away.
I think MWhave increased their bet on wizz against going long in other airlines as wizz is very volitile. Maybe they anticipate a military strike by Israel on Iran which would hit the share price but as the West is bringing on more sanctions against Iran it may not happen let's see what happens!!
Shorts increased, let see what happens at 13:30 and after!
Is that going up with all the war etc. I know it doesn’t affect much but still. Such a manipulation.
Looks like I posted to early!!!
Marshall Wace, when they short shares go down, they can get it wrong though. I'm not short, waiting for a good entry point :)
Whos marshall and whats your PT
Marshall short increased, maybe will go down further. I hope so, i can get back in then :)
Sp holding up well compared to iag and easyjet said they would resume flights to tel aviv today not sure I would want to be on one though. If Israel can be persuaded not to retaliate can see the sp going back to £23_£24
GLA
Ken the irony Yank futures nice and blue 💙 ftse red
Rizzel, thanks for your explanation all makes good sense
I was aware they had opened up flights to telaviv a week or so back, but the escalation in the attacks will certainly put pressure on WIZZ.
Cheers
my my, how the tables turn. marshalls will get it up the **** monday pretty sure https://www.lse.co.uk/news/israel-reopens-airspace-as-airlines-cancel-flights-due-to-iran-attacks-say658d8dnicq4k.html
I'm sick to death of all this geo politics crap
Agree end week around 22 / 23 , may top up monday
I was thinking the opposite. While it may still go down on monday I think it will not go far below 2000p, and it will recover during the week if nothing else happens and tension will ease.
I hope so anyway
Will be slaughtered Monday....Marshall will make a fortune
