When you resort to insults following a factually correct answer from ASI ... then you have lost the argument safetrader.
''I incurred a minor loss when I downsized my investment before the consolidation, but it didn't result in a financial loss since that amount offset my Capital Gains Tax (CGT) liability from profits on other investments.''
What a kn ob 🤮
Still lecturing the world asimpleinvestor ?
Pompous arrogant little man :)
"just calling you out and maybe look you to refrain from posting blatant misinformed nonsense"
For clarification, to which 'blatant misinformed nonsense' are you referring? I have been invested in this company since December 2019 and have thoroughly followed and researched its activities. Therefore, I am very interested in understanding how you believe I have misrepresented the company's exploits and financial position.
Claiming an increase from 5.10% to 6.68% is factually incorrect if calculated from pre-consolidation to post-consolidation figures. The 5.10% must be recalculated in the post-consolidation context, as this alters the result. Although the increase is nominal, the reasons behind it remain unclear. Interpreting this as a positive sign, implying insider knowledge, cannot be substantiated or justified given the present situation.
I incurred a minor loss when I downsized my investment before the consolidation, but it didn't result in a financial loss since that amount offset my Capital Gains Tax (CGT) liability from profits on other investments. As the saying goes, there's more than one way to skin a cat. Should I exit this share completely, any resulting loss will similarly offset future CGT liabilities. Naturally, I'd prefer a profit, but it's prudent to prepare for all outcomes. He may, as easily share the same view.
Nevertheless his holding has increased from
5.10% to 6.68% and so you posted false information. No point in spinning it towards something else - just calling you out and maybe look you to refrain from posting blatant misinformed nonsense
I acknowledge the slight increase, TP123, but question whether it's wise investment or a desperate attempt to lower the average cost, hoping for a pre-placement surge to exit without loss. Recall, the company is insolvent, and the consolidation aimed to facilitate future placements, reassure creditors, and fund daily operations, yet profitability remains elusive contrary to prior expectations. The threshold to reassure creditors is a price of 0.5 or higher, but post-consolidation, we're at 0.3-0.34, insufficient for placings to settle debts. Essentially, a consolidation that merely decreased share value by roughly 40%. My stance is clear: the company is on limited time. Absent a turnaround within my defined timeframe, I will exit.
Mr. Green Box Person, I hope you're doing well and that your intellectual capacity has improved. If not, have a pleasant day regardless, and remember to take your medication, or you may find yourself back in the ward.

You are wrong yet again. He has increased his position. For a pilot / diamond expert / former army chief you are a bit thick at times old boy
5.10% to 6.68%
Thursdays trades show this addition if you bother your backside to check
Leave him to it, he thinks he sold recently at a small loss, forgetting he sold 30mln at a humongous one feb 2023
Why has % holding increased then if that was the case?
Not sure why anybody believes this is a new TR1 when its just a post consolidation RNS informing the market what his holding has changed to.
I think the news will be on the first shipment and agreement in place with the Nikash group for the 2 ton concentrate per month - AIMO
Something building here I think what do they no the rest of us dont ? Could there be news on the Diamonds it's taken long enough or something else, defently worth a gamble either way as this could do multiples of current price vary quickly
He doesn’t know anything. He’s doubling down and refusing to admit he’s wrong. Capstone invested a fair whack here and it was speculated then ‘What do they know?’. They didn’t see a return on their investment. Don’t confuse big money with smart money. This is a lifestyle company set up for one purpose only.
Exactly. What does or can he know?
Does holding a threshold notifiable about of shares entitle him to 'boardroom' information?
Thoughts anyone?
Gla
If he does "know" something, the question is how does he know?
Or is he just making a big binary bet?
Interesting that there is no pump coinciding with this ongoing stake build… what does this guy know?
Surprised more are not taking advantage of the low share price, clearly the ever increasing TR1 holder has confidence, the £3m m/cap seems too low given rises in commodity prices.
Just one piece of decent news and there could be some very strong upside.
Any sort of volume here and the price will only go up due to the amount of shares in issues now along with the amount of shares tied up in hands that will not dip out on a 10 per cent raise.
GLA Wontongue
Huge TR1 landed. A breakout is more and more likely
Commodities flying in price
VAST shares landing in sticky hands
David Jones seems to have excellent pedigree
6.68% holding in little old Vast.
Gla
Thought might have been diamonds
Mr. David knows what is coming, You do not pump that amount of money in to a share when you know its going to be consolidated without being confident.
GLA Wontongue
A bit of confidence,,
