I've passed your 'highlighting of offshore downsides' to all the major UK O&G players, as they've obviously been misdirecting the 98%+ of the 10s of £Billions investment to offshore in the last 40 years, am sure they'll be in touch to hear from you how they all got it so wrong!

Qwerty and Stu, I have never held shares in UKOG, invested here only with a down bet. I make no secret of my position and I visit most days, though post less and some of my posts< get reported and> vanish. Here for the discussion, and to be honest if I see "I would not be out of this for the weekend" I might be tempted to extend the short. I have put up a valuation on basis of bopd but it is to you readers to use it or ridicule it. Q says he is out, S asks why he bothers to post. I learn from both posts.

Could be that people have followed the old adage of don't wager any more than you can afford to lose

hold at 1p till rig?
Thu 21:17
I will be thrilled for the SP to hold at 1p till day before rig arrives I cannot believe I am using the word thrill.

I pray to God everyday for the SP to go up or stay as it is we need atleast 2p which is possible around the rig time.

this is called revenge BB. People are angry at their past losses associated to the shares then they waste their time bashing it.

who's selling?
Thu 21:12
I have been observing since the SP has hit in range of 0.0095 to 0.0105 millions getting sold.

Who's selling?

1 Someone bought last year at 0.0095 out of anger frustration or depression.

2. Free shares given by UKOG.

3. People just selling at loss.

Who's benefitting from these sells any clues anyone does not make sense to sell at this price unless you are guaranteed entry to lower than the present price.

I'm just baffled looking at the large sells on the chart as I dont rely on these as they are based on price rather than actual transactions.

I have bought in the past where sell price was more than buy price. Its MM trick sometimes it happens.

Seadoc...That is commendable qualifications for you both they are not just handed out...Although I am no longer involved in the fishing industry I keep my hand in with my macwester wight ketch...when not sailing commit the sin of rod fishing from a yacht...takes the mind away from oil, gold, gas and potash...

Qwerty69 - be honest, who would bother posting on a share in which they are no longer invested?

Volvic - sorry to hear that - my advice is don’t pay attention to the ‘rampers’ - we all know who they are. IMO these incessant posters are only ‘bigging it up’ for there own reasons, they are either holding a heavy loss and just wont accept it, or they are traders trying to induce a bounce so they can sell. The. mm’s are stopping them with the large spreads. Be honest, who would post all day everyday about the technical info that they have weaned from google. I got out and fortunately prevented another 10% loss. The choice is yours.

ninetails, my intention has been to highlight that as the onshore is far less costly to develop it does not need to have anywhere near the output of offshore to be viable. My highlighting of offshore downside has been only in response, and since, some uninvested trouble makers have been vindictively trying to disrupt and mislead on this BB.

I am glad that someone is now getting the point about the perforations length in the sidetrack & how it connects with the oil.

Hence the question how high could the flow rates go on HH2?

Argus1...sorry if I have miss quoted you on the national significance theme...but you do try and bigup on shore oil, and highlight any downside in the offshore industry as your posting history will show...I am invested in UKOG and I am willing it to do well...but my livelihood is in the northsea and it is doing quite well contrary to the beliefs on this BB

Ninetails, Mrs seadoc only got deck officer class 1 but it was deep sea foreign going. Mistress seadoc also got a masters ticket, driving 60 foot cats around the windfarms in north sea, now shore based. I miss the sea.

Seadoc...sorry I cant help with any of your questions...I managed to atain the marine qualification of Deck officer class 1 fishing...was at sea 26 years, 13 of that as skipper...fished mostly uk waters with the odd excursion out with, when needed...no idea why the north sea has been so productive...

ninetails, I do not use the national significance phrase in by posting. That may be for the future. The difference is that Ukog being on shore, drilling wells does not have the costs required for offshore fields. So £10s millions rather than £billions involved. Less oil needed to cover development costs. Offshore, to be viable must have very high flow rates to justify high running and development costs.
