Hi Shuj10, yes, HL is Hargreaves. I just checked my account, and you are able to trade online now.
Hi HL is Hargreaves and Lansdown right? sorry might sound bit stupid lol but i never used any other then TD waterhouse.
http://www.talvivaara.com/investors/london-delisting Useful link on TALV website. answer all the questions that have been asked on the forum without going through so many pages of info.
i spoke to TD around a week ago who gave three options,1 sell. 2 they could send me a share certificate.3 transfer to another broker,i've decided on the transfer and opened an account with HL,the process was quite easy just click on transfer on the HL page and fill out the online form,a couple of days later i got a letter to sign and date and return to HL.i've just read an email from TD which says it will take upto six weeks to process the transfer also if i had left my shares at TD they said they would show as having no value because they don't trade with helsinki.hope this is of help to those new to this like myself...GLA
No worries. I'm not really sure about TD... I'm with HL and they are usually pretty helpful. HL also trade the Helsinki, so it's not a problem, but I don't think I can trade the shares online... If TD don't trade on the Helsinki Exchange, I'm not really certain what the plan of action is. G
Thanks for replaying back @ geek233 i just got of the phone with TD Waterhouse thats who i hold my shares with.. it should not effect the shares i hold right? the customer service was not helpful they go to me they are not certain because they dont deal with any other markets.
Hi Shuj10, personally I'm holding. Moving to the Helsinki Exchange should prove to be beneficial for Talv. Fundamentals are promising, but they have a long way to go IMO. G
these share has moved to finland market? so do we go about selling it or keeping a eye on it seeing if its going up or down... can any one help? Thanks
If you just type Talv Bloomberg then it will show......up 3% already today!!
I mean TLV1V:FH

Does anyone know the ticker symbol for TALV on Helsinki Stock Exchange. Thanks
Brokers buying back all unwanted or sold shares pending official delisting from AIM.
The stock's been traded alright at market close...close to 100K worht of trades...any good news out or perhaps people just taking advantage of the low sp.
Hi, just had a reply from HL: We have been advised by the market maker through which the trades will be placed that it is expected that Talvivaara Mining Shares will remain eligible to settle within the CREST system. as a result we expect to settle trades through CREST. If this facility is cancelled then we have a global custody account agreement with HSBC through which we would be able to settle trades placed. If this situation occurred then we would write to you again to detail the arrangement. Kind regards, Chris Smith Corporate Actions
Glad to see the share price has been steadyish on the run upto the de-listing around the 14th... Anyone found any similar discussion forums for Helsinki exchange yet?
It is too late for people who held shares in TALV through The Share Centre. According to The Share Centre letter dated 02-07-2014 "All shatres held at 16.30 on 7th july will be sold on the morning of 8th July at best price they can get and proceeds credited to account by 11-07-2014" They took upon them self to sell everyone's shares held with The Share Centre whather you like it or not. Could be a case for someone suing them?
Gents, if the outcome of the AGM is that TALV will definitely be delisting, will this cause many investors to get out there and then and not go through the process of transferring their holding to HL? The delisting seems to be a good strategic move but many may become short sighted and bail out on the 12th July after the AGM. I'm hoping many see the benefit of the move and hang in there.
According to The Share Centre Talvivaara will be withdrawing from CREST, so how will Hargreaves settle funds in UK?
Hi Vasara, this is the message I received from HL yesterday: The expected last day to trade your Shares on the London Stock Exchange is 11 July 2014. If you maintain your Holding after this date then it is expected that Hargreaves Lansdown will continue to be able to trade Talvivaara Mining Company Shares on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. Trades will be placed in accordance with our standard stockbroking terms and conditions. Trades can be placed by calling our stockbrokers on 0117 980 9800 and will be subject to our standard telephone commission rates (1% of the value of the trade with a minimum of £20 and a maximum of £50). It is also expected that you will be able to trade Talvivaara Mining Company Shares online following the delisting. Trades placed online will be subject to our online commission rates. Trades in Talvivaara Mining Company Shares on the Helsinki Stock Exchange will be dealt at the overseas market price and converted into sterling by a UK based market maker. The foreign exchange rate used will be based on the prevailing interbank exchange rate to which the market maker will add an additional spread, dependent on the size of the deal, up to 1.7%.
Jiven, thanks a lot for your advice.
