sasa,

I do believe the Minimum Mcap is just £700,000 to be eligible.

I see no incentive to remain on AIM.

As far as criteria is concerned, our accounts show more than 3 years. Our shareholder base hold >25% in public hands. We have sufficient working capital for the next 12 months. I don't have any worry about our corporate governance, that I am aware of !

SQZ are ready to make the move now. We could apply and move within 3 months .... lets get it done is what I say. After all we have been on AIM for 14 years now !!!

14 years is too long, with the ambitions of SQZ, moving is not an 'if' but 'when' in my eyes.

Hi sasa,
Well, it just goes to prove the old adage that every day is a school day, I wasn't aware that was the value required, and over the years I have been invested in companies that have transferred without knowing that.
I do however feel confident that not only will SQZ reach that valuation but that the BOD will already have considered the move. Having a full listing does put a different slant on a company and attracts a wider range of investors which in turn drives up the SP.
Patience.

Echo that, NewK but the sp will have to get to 260p or more first (£700m cap requirement) but later this year, if all goes well, why not? - sasa.

FTSE Listing
Thu 11:18
Would like to see a move to the main market listing this year, why ....

Would give exposure to funds that currently do not trade in AIM listings, ( for obvious reasons )

SP stability and growth.

Open us to more choice of capital markets, if ever required

Give kudos and will represents a badge of quality and increased profile.

What next for SQZ ?
15 Mar '19
Thought for the weekend ...!!!

"We seek to expand the value of our business, whilst spreading risk and limiting downside exposure, through both partnerships and asset transactions. With an experienced Board and Management, Serica has the knowledge, reputation and capabilities to drive for value-led growth both organically and through value enhancing acquisitions, building on synergies from our existing assets..."

Given SQZ's quote above, I would certainly consider a merger/takeover of Tailwind Energy as highly possible.

We have synergies with Columbus, currently Tailwind produce around 15kboepd and exposure to high quality oil producing field that will help balance our reliance on both gas and Forties pipeline.

All Tailwinds assets are confined to NS and East Irish Sea.

Tailwinds MO is akin to SQZ with the bonus of a young BoD with extensive experience in key areas. It is about time ACW et al, took a backseat, after all, they deserve it !

This would catapult the newly combined company to 4th Largest Independent Operator on UKCS.

I do believe we need to grow quickly or be swallowed ourselves. Currently our Mcap is, imo, significantly undervalues SQZ so something will have to give. After all we are sat at the same SP we started the year with, since then we have increased our share of BKR by +25% alone. Our SP, imo, has been constantly managed for months on end with 'A' trades regularly dominating daily activity.

I do think we are close to another deal, but it may not be with BP...... on this occasion !!

well the bottom is usually just below the lower back.

Looking forward to the April end of year report, should make for exciting reading, not long to wait.

Also Rawallen, further acquisition, Namibia, Rhum3 i.e. plenty of news on multiple fronts

nothing wrong with retaining a small interest of say 15-20% in a wild cat, the size of the prospects would still have a material impact to SQZ.
Serica have already stated that they want to retain exploration activity. Agree that we should be looking to balance the portfolio with some more exposure to oil

Deal swap would make sense to me for SQZ to gain more NS assets, but with bias on oil this time.

Stick to what we are good at and forget wildcatting in Namibia imo.

NS has all the riches we will ever need, just a case of doing the right deals.

As we know, I don't think we have a better team to accomplish this.

Quite a waiting game in Namibia, whilst parties glean information from wells being drilled on how it effects their own acreage. PEL 047 for Serica is requiring a commitment before December to drill a well before 2021. Whilst this would appear to be non core at present, perhaps BP is still playing the "long" game here and it wouldn't surprise me to see interest re emerging.
