just had a listen, really positive, a second well to be drilled this year which adds extra revenue. Shouldn't be at this low MCAP for much longer.

lol reaction, as someone who takes an interest across a wide range of LSE BB shares I can safely say that this is one of the least ramped AIM BB's on the whole of the LSE and anyone that tells you otherwise is a pure liar.

There seems to be a smell of positivity here. Now stop it, at once. You will be called a ramper. Any negative thoughts and you are a deramper. I would not want to be on the wrong end of a large long contract oops !!!!!!

Octopus wells
Today 08:19
Mostly below ground so environmentally friendly.

Should be looking at tens of thousands of barrels of oil a day if testing comes up trumps.

Hook to pipeline straight to refinery.

Value to solo tens if not hundreds of millions.

Solo oil

Good to know the price of Oil has pretty much doubled in recent times and that analysts believe we could well see $150 .About $20 a barrel production cost at H/H. Massive amount of upward movement on the bottom line to come.
Never let it be forgotten that production figures are at a factor of 10x once the octopus is deployed. We already have permission in place for a second well at H/H and also a horizontal side track at H/H. FABULOUS ! ! !

Many thanks for the analysis Stonefold and a very interesting development @ DOR. Are there consolidation moves afoot between the players of HorseHill?

Jettydog, Yes if your sole investment aim was to maximise your profit by exposure to potential Horse Hill value, then your first choice would be DOR. But that is on the ASX and is run by Lennigas and you can't currently buy there because:

https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20180719/pdf/43wmljfw52ps23.pdf
DOR Requests trading halt pending a significant announcement in relation to the extended well test program at Horse Hill...
The halt will be lifted following the announcement on 19 or 20th of July.

So the easier and next best would be ALBA then SOLO then GUN then PRIM then UKOG then lastly TELL which is on the nasdaq.

That's what the maths says, just needs Horse Hill to continue to proceed successfully and for investors to understand which Horse Hill shares are currently undervalued.

Blimey StoneFold that took me a while to work out. It does show that SOLO and ALBA are a much better bet that UKOG if you want to make a profit!

Comparative dividends
Wed 20:51
If I've got the figures correct then the answer to the question:

Which company would give the highest gross dividend per share as a percentage of the current share price , for each £1.0 million worth of value/income from Horse Hill, if a dividend were to be paid today?

I have ignored that PRIM have 2.99% of the shares in ALBA as it is too small to make a difference.

This ignores any other assets, cash or debts that should be considered when comparing the value of the companies.

It is valid until the share price changes or the number of shares in issue changes.

It is just for entertainment DYOR.

Who cares trrime, they have their path to production, the only concern here is what ill be solo's? $15 million to get an initial $12 million a year from first production? It is a very short payback and with the Zubairs committing $110 million to full field development it should not be an issue imo.

Great to see the on-site Horse Hill team in this photo this afternoon in front of the first oil tanker containing Gatwick Gusher Horse Hill #oil which headed of to BP. Excellent. The big tests have not even started yet. Can't wait. https://t.co/SiKsxnNhmz
