i think is an attempt to fill gaps in order to make sure they are up to date with announcements to comply with aim would they bother doing this if they werent seriously attempting to get the supension lifted??
I think this smacks of a last ditch effort to tidy things up a bit and get a NOMAD in I think the best we coudl get out of this would be appoint a NOMASD (if any will take it) and dilute by paying creditors off in shares and then try and pick something up from the ashes Ive written this off to be honest but hope to be pleasantly suprised
Thank You very much. I agree and I hope many more will look into this from a higher level and take action. They were all there.......
Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article. A week ago, I wrote that Strategic Natural Resources’ (SNRP) CEO Alex MacDonald’s position was untenable, after the company issued this RNS in an attempt to clear the air after Allenby’s sudden resignation as Nomad. The problem for Strategic Natural and Mr MacDonald is that the story didn’t stack up. The resignation of three non-execs strongly suggests that “board approval” for the purchase of 6% of Millennium Energy wasn’t as cut and dried as the company suggested and the timeline of events leading to Allenby’s swift exit indicates that Mr MacDonald and his fellow directors knew they needed their Nomad’s assent (which, by their own admission, they hadn’t received) before completing this transaction. Last night Mr MacDonald quit, but is this enough to draw a line under the matter and allow Strategic Natural to survive as a listed company? The simple answer to this question is I don’t believe it is. To remind you, Strategic Natural has until 0700 on July 24th to find a new Nomad or the current suspension from trading which the company is in will become a touch more permanent. It is possible that in falling on his sword Mr MacDonald has cleared the path for one of AIM’s bottom feeding Nomads to step in and allow this company to return to market. There is nothing the system loves more than the sacrifice of a fall guy to allow everyone to pretend all is now well again with the world and we can just carry on as before. Unfortunately for Strategic Natural life won’t be this easy. Serious questions remain about the circumstances of the Millennium deal and the apparent circular nature of financial transactions involving Strategic Natural, Target Alliance (London) and Ivory Mint Holdings. If I’ve understood the various agreements correctly it appears that all three organisations are controlled by the mysterious Irving Aronson. I skimmed the surface of what’s gone on in my piece last week (HERE), but, for now, while Strategic Natural remains suspended, there is little point delving further into this. However, if the company does manage to drag itself back onto AIM, then expect the Sheriff and his cohorts to mount up... To get Twitter updates from ShareProphets as they happen
Does anyone know what the article said.....Not a lover of shareprophets.... But it is an opinion.
"Well why did the other directors resign in disgust" Strange how all of the old characters left at the same time.... and no one stayed to put up a fight? They were suppose to be there on our behalf.... or were they?
Loose cannon??????? I believe it was all orchestrated from the highest levels....... scapegoat springs to mind....
http://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/articles/strategic-stitch-up Haven't a clue what the article says
running out of time on NOMAD
What reason did he give to you?
That's twice you've mentioned the Nels recently Servecool. Do you know something we don't?.... :-)
A great asset, however value for PI's completely eroded while management line their own pockets. The Nels will do very well out of this as well in my opinion. SNR directors are nothing but a bunch of crooks, lining their own pockets and shafting the PI's.
dont know what they could have been thinking of wiht the millenium deal there is no level at which it stack s up other than squirrelling awy the last of the cash for themselves before it folds
"and is conditional upon the share trading suspension being lifted" So no moola on this subsription yet....
The Company is pleased to announce the offer, subject to contract, of a further subscription from Target Alliance (London) Limited for GBP1,200,000 at 3 pence per share, such subscription to be taken up by the initial subscription of GBP600,000 within 5 days of trading suspension being lifted and GBP600,000 30 days thereafter. The offer has been accepted by the board and is conditional upon the share trading suspension being lifted and (if required) the Takeover Panel giving and the Company's Shareholders approving a waiver of the obligation on Target Alliance (London) Limited to make a general offer for the Company' shares. The Board anticipates that this will happen once a new Nomad is appointed. This part isn't about Millenium..... yet
didnt we get 1.5million in exchange though?
Think yourself lucky, Tucumcari had 6million dollars of Minmet money. Not just a lousy few hundred K
Oooops, should read. The one thing the company was NOT run by, is idiots etc.
Not sure where this stands today but I think "Tucumcari Investments Limited ("TIL")" holds/held 75% of Tucumcari Exploration.
The one thing the company was run by, is idiots. Those who invested init however....
You'll have to do your own research on Minmet Mav. Been plenty posted on here but I believe Minmet owns 25% of Tucumcari Exploration which I am assuming has/had control over those Millennium gas wells. Aronson and Price of Millenium were both at the same party several years ago...... "Westcoast's sole Director and Shareholder is Irving Aronson. Irving Aronson holds the shares in issue on trust for himself as to 10%, Hilberry Foundation as to 45% and Charms Investments Limited as to 45%. There is no commonality of shareholders between Westcoast and Minmet and its Directors. There is a degree of commonality of shareholders between Westcoast and Carbon Energy Investments Limited and Tucumcari Investments Limited ("TIL"). Well they haven't delisted yet so anything can happen but what is needed is an investigation by the stock exchange/gov. of all of the characters that have been in play here. Minmet is still alive today as a private entity and so is Tucumcari Investments ...... Both soon to benefit from the sell of SNRs Elitheni?... Will SNR have to be listed for them to reap through Millennium?
I find it interesting how EVERYONE has walked away so easily.....
Marv, the ship has officially sunk!
lets hope for a simialr performance here after nomad resignation !!!
