very good point morris with tech companies the problem isnt the product or the the tech that can be world leading its about shifting it and enough of it to make money ..... ive said many times sev needs to sell more 1st..... to be taken seriously by everyone...we dont sell enough ...we need to turn the links and pilots into solid revenue
Great to know why they originally invested and why they haven't taken up the option. Big investment firm invested in a Company I worked for it went tits up, the process was ahead of its time. The directors got it back off them pretty cheap, guess they don't always work out
I can only talk about myself and my investment but if it helps this is my thinking ... got to think we 2 months almost from year end and 4 months away from it being a year since this big casvade investment .... big deal was made of tenders that could fall into 2017 along with the move to main market and nee business model with mobileye so im sitting tight for now ... selling at a loss doesnt benefit me ..when i do think this will rise significantly of the back of a big contract ...we have to get them 1st ..... heres hoping we do get that rns before market tomorrow think after that its very unlikely after what the guys have explained here today.
Doesn't look good does it I can't decide what to do myself
guess we will have to wait for a update or results for clarity on that ? i have the slim hope of a rns still before market as thats what sev does..... maybe bit of denial as i was 99% sure the options was going to be taken ..hard to accept when get it wrong i guess
Another reason why a No RNS is required "As announced on 22 February 2017, Cascade has been granted an option to invest up to a further $4.0 million, in two equal tranches, at the same Company valuation as the subscription, being approximately £14.4 million (the "Options"). Further details on the Options are contained in the announcement of 22 February 2017 and, as announced on 9 March 2017, the option prices per share have been adjusted to 10.13p and 9.21p respectively." This to me means one option for $4m over 2 dates at 2 different SPs - my reasoning in it saying "an option" However, if it is 2 options then should the price of the second option be increased to 10.13 from 9.21 because the first of these 2 options has not been taken up.
okay thor that makes sense ...i would only expect sells as we are over the due date .... guess maybe some people are still confident as putting down 5k when the expected news hasnt come is either very brave or very risky ...guess we will find out for sure this week. imo
I take it as a buy 5K less 10 dealing charge. The previous transactions were sells at around 1.75 for smaller amounts. Cant see why anyone would buy today rather than anytime within the last week, ahead of news (or probably no news) but we are different. They have got a very good low entry.
i dont think that morris at worse a longer play than anticipated ....... ..as thor pointed out they were late last time and that was during the week ....so im willing to say we can wait a little more as the chance they have been taken is still there .... sev are tight lipped with info so there isnt going to be a sell off or a load of buying like a leak has happened before the rns ..we just have to wait ..easy to say hardest thing to do of course lol imo etc
Or have been sold another Dud
1.92 take it as a sell? 250k in stock nearly 5k worth in ..buy price is 2.25 so think this is a sell
Sorry thor i got your words a little mixed lol ... lets see what they reply ... tuesday still no rns so im juat hoping it is delayed ..slim hope but need that No doubt the contracts that were to fall in line with the 2nd half of the year could still turn this around and be massive ...gt has to deliver these large tenders for us to have a chance of even getting back to year high ..without the funding our only option is to trust what he said was true and he does bag the big ones. My problem is i had a theory about the reason for cascade getting invovled...if they dont take my theory is wrong and i will re think ... ...i can afford to have half what i currently have without cascades input ..as i do believe a mobileye ta is inevitable...but leaving it all without cascade backing is a bit too risky for me personally.
Ahmir I said that in my opinion they should rns if the money isnt coming as I believe in this special case it is a price sensitive event. I have told the NOMAD this. This doesnt mean that they will especially if NOMAD sees it differently than me. I dont see the need for a price drop. It is very low already and no money doesnt mean that the tech and Mobileye integration is not still valid. There could still be big contract news around the corner. With smaller news I see people derisking and cutting their losses so SP to remain at 2p until small contracts and then about 3-4p on smaller contracts. Large news/contract ???p.
Im down also even after averaging down... Think most people here thought company buying at 12p ..we should be looking to get close to doubke figures easy medium term its not happened They must have had some reason but not taking the options ...throws a spanner in the works ...if the direction showed to them was that good then why have they not invested more ...owning 20% would give us a massive boost in confidence and standing on aim .... i dont havr the confidence to say sev can stick to timetables ..they probably havent even applied to list on main market yet knowing them !
Think my average is 5p so I'm down massively if I call it a day now . The guy seeks an idiot. The investment team by cascade had to invest in the back of something thought.
Think one thing is for sure it puts the 1 trade theory to bed ...load of bull... if this doesnt arrive gt needs to deliver something else in the next 2 months... will be probably looking to de risk when i can ...as thr cascade options were supposed to be part of the plan..... the havent said they have lapsed yet so lets see if it happens imo etc
Morning morris sev is pushing the patience as usual From what thor has said yes they will have to rns saying thr options have lapsed .... lets see if he gets a reply from the nomad or we get a rns first ..its sev nomad so probavly wont reply on time as they dont lol Ignore the tech beginning of the week was acting like he didnt know anything about this share and now is a pro lol
Do they have to inform us that it ain't coming? Tech dreamer you really do sound pathetic though, you aren't invested here and have only been all over this In the week. Get a grip
You stupid Red dot where you hiding
"That's quite funny from someone who didn't even know what a Bed and Breakfast ISA was." Breakfast? I suspect you mean a Bed and ISA.
looking at the dates the 23rd deadline was tuesday and we got on thursday .... considering here we had the weekend also ...could very well be a tuesday or at latest wednesday rns ...sev are creatures of habit so i tend to think its going to be before market rns like all the other payments were 2 bang on at 7 one at 7.38 ..... example of this with sev is good news always before market (subscription and contracts ).......... ..not so good expected news during the day ..(results half year report trading update )
good stuff thor maybe it is ...see if you get a reply or the rns first
The second payment was due 23rd May, the RNS announcing it was on 25th May. It is still possible that Cascade have paid. I have also told the NOMAD that I believe that an RNS should be issued if they dont take up the warrants. These arent like ordinary warrants that do or dont get taken up they are strategic warrants by Cascade and SEV. Therefore if they do or dont get taken up it is price sensative.
yes hereandnow that was my mistake...didn't quite expect the lengths people will go to on a bb board lesson learnt now ... hope they are just running late and it comes before market or after always preferred...... we getting the sells and the resulting sp drop ..better late than never investment wise so if the money comes it will stop the current rot .... keep saying we are overdue news wise ...but that is going off the projected timescales sev have indicated so really need to secure a big win before this year is out ..as always imo etc
as ever. I wouldn't be surprised to see the money come through quite late. Even if it doesn't GT seems to have the canny knack of always finding investors. One decent contract and we are off and running. ahmir, I tried to point out out doppleganger back in the spring, nasty piece of work as you have found out.
