Echo your excellent recommendation to sign up for Research Tree and read the Cenkos note. Research Tree have a free trial available. For any holder, I'd say the Cenkos note is essential reading.

Feels like we are doing a 'shhh don't tell anyone we might hit this out of the park' which makes complete sense.

If we are seeing around corners correctly then this could be a fun year

cash raising
Today 11:21
raising cash is not such a bad thing here and im sure they have lots of options to do it if needed, hopefully clarity on this will be forthcoming soon. is it also true that if they raise cash some of this is off set against future taxes profits etc.
in my opinion as a long term holder not willing to sell even at 40p I was very happy with the rns, well done Seeing Machines.

I'd urge anyone that hasn't yet, to sign up to Research Tree and read cenkos broker note released today in full.

This will be a critical year, there's a lot of useful information in there and it's reassuring to read.

If SEE are intending to invest heavily to win market share then yes there may be a fund raise this year.

The last big fund raise moved the SP higher. It was a combination of Private Investors - very small amount, and Institutional Investors. Both were oversubscribed.

New to Investing
Today 10:17
Hello everyone! I am relatively new to investing and have owned and followed Seeing machines for about a year now. I'm a regular reader of this chat and appreciate all the hard work that goes into researching and investigating this stock. I have learned alot, and hopefully can begin to contribute as time goes on.

I can see that a possible fundraise is has been mentioned regularly - more so after the trading update today. As i haven't experianced this before, can i ask what this would mean for us as shareholders? I assume a negative reaction from the market and a drop in the shareprice, but what is the procedure with regards to how Seeing Machines raise funds? Are we offered shares or do they create new shares etc?

Any info is much appreciated and appologies for distrupting all the good work going on!

Mining and Rail
Today 10:09
The paragraph on mining and rail is interesting.
It almost reads like CAT who I believe manufacture the kit for mining and off-road may be tasked with manufacturing equipment for Rail as well. I know CAT own Prgress Rail but I assumed that SEE would produce the kit for rail.

Sounds like a farm out of production for rail kit going forward.

Bax, I have always said 2020 is the key and am still of that opinion. I will re-assess my investment probably mid-late 2020 and see where we are. In the meantime I will top up a small amount each month until then. I do get the frustration of all on this BB.

There is no disconnect between the MCap and where we are - there is a massive disconnect between the MCap and the potential - the Auto summary for me is significant.

The potential is huge - lets see where it takes us. Of course I would not rule out a fund raise but "Good Days" it could be June it could be July it could be Aug - why not say every month - gotta be right sometime!

All in my opinion of course.

RE: Auto
Today 09:36
On the whole I quite liked the update. I do get the cash worries but the opportunity looks so big and SEE are the technical leader in the space.

This also caught my eye:-
'Seeing Machines has recently finalised an additional collaboration agreement with one of the largest global Tier 1 automotive parts suppliers, paving the way for more in-depth technology sharing and collaboration toward additional OEM design wins, and demonstrating continued, successful growth of Tier 1 collaborations across the industry.'

Who could this be? I know we are already collaborating with Veoneer (Autoliv) on their LIV automated car. Could this perhaps be with a Japanese Tier 1? I've got Toyotas Guardian system in mind. I don't know who the Tier 1 is here and I could be totally barking up the wrong tree with this.

Can not disagree with your summary Lewbo. But what is your considered view on the seeming disconnect between what has and could be achieved and the pitifully low valuation of the company? Why are we still sat at a price we were at 4 years ago. I just don’t get it

Thanks Lewbo, great summary.

A great small snippet that stood out to me was engineering - we have derisked missing opportunities due to staffing, which bodes well for this year's RFQs.. this was a concern last year, can't remember when it was brought up.

Derisked for existing contracts but also foreseable upcoming potential contracts so we are in a strong position to win more deals

RE: Cash Position ?
I could have been incorrect in previous posts regarding the begging bowl out on March / April ( my Cheltenham Festival money ) it may be my Royal Ascot money in June they are trying to get , I would rather give it to my poor local bookies as they at least give me 1 in a hundred chance of winning ,
Regarding purchases by Directors to show the faith in the company the least said the better

as always have A GOOD day

Auto
Today 08:52
Auto summary:

- Before end June 2019 possibly 6 decisions made and in some of these we are in multiple bids.

- Before the end of Dec 2019 another 3 or 4 decisions to be made.

- Signed up another one of the largest global Tier 1 automotive parts suppliers

- Second major OEM program (Germany - Presumed Merc) production launch within the next 14 months.

- Third OEM program (Germany - Presumed BMW) volume launch in mid 2021.

- The fourth (North America - Presumed Ford) FOVIO chip orders expected within the next 12 months.

- Fifth OEM (China - Presumed Byton) FOVIO chip orders expected within the next 12 months.

- Industry commentators* anticipate that more than 60% of all light vehicles produced globally will include driver monitoring DMS by 2025. The Board expects to achieve a SIGNIFICANT SHARE OF THIS MARKET (my caps)

WHY???
1. given the limited competition in DMS technology
2 the quality of Seeing Machines' technology, our established market position
3.the formal agreements in place with leading Tier 1 suppliers.

RE: Fleet
Today 08:44
For fleet I'd like to see more on what the long term plan is, the review in september suggested we want to move towards an IP only company, so far this update is just saying in the mean time we have reduced our cost base. This is what you would do if you were slowly closing your fleet operations and handing over to a third party.

Hopefully. That's how I've interpreted it.. the other option we might be going for is we keep trying to manufacture guardian ourselves, so which is it?

IP only approach is attractive, it puts buyouts back on the table (xilinx?) I can't see someone wanting to buy us with manufacturing baggage.

"One of these opportunities is with an existing awarded Tier 1 and OEM to expand Seeing Machines' DMS offering to nine additional vehicle models with start of production in 2021."

Is this referring to GM and Cadillac?
