I disagree with much of what Nvidia has previously said about timescales for full autonomy, but they had the Xavier SoC properly assessed by Tüv Süd. Likely to see Xavier first in series production in Level 2+ SPA2 for Volvo V90 around 2023.

I agree that good news often follows a placing. I'm interested to see how the shares dilution affects the SP prior to the good news, of the news happens of course.

Bud, from what I've seen companies usually give some tidbits during the offer period to fluff interest but release bigger news afterwards, especially when II are the main stakeholder of the raise. They didn't care too much for PI cash that was more a courtesy offer. The IIs will expect results and often something to make them happy happens soon after close of the raise.

Not always of course but it's quite a coincidence how often it does happen!

Anyway. Got all the II funds and a big chunk of the PI. Time to kick on now they need to execute in the next 12 months.

They raised 91% of the total, that's a decent result in my view.

Sensibly they will have just forecasted based on the II element, so have an extra A$6.9m.

With the price around 3p fair play to those who took part and supported the company

Let the brakes off? Why wouldn’t they have done this if they could before the placing closed..?

So, all the main placing done but only about 55% of the PI offer taken up?
It's pretty much as I expected. I had no more finds and did not feel like selling anything to get my allocation, as I have done in the past. Let's hope they can let the brakes off now.

23 April 2019

Seeing Machines Limited

Result of General Meeting, Offer and Total Voting Rights

Result of General Meeting

Seeing Machines Limited (AIM: SEE, "Seeing Machines" or the "Group"), the advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI-powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, is pleased to report that, further to the announcements on 20 and 22 March 2019 relating to the conditional Placing and Subscriptions to raise gross proceeds of GBP27.77 million (approximately AUD51.3 million), all resolutions put to shareholders at the General Meeting held earlier today were duly passed.

Result of Offer

In addition, Seeing Machines is pleased to announce that valid acceptance have been received in respect of, and the Company will issue, 126,794,082 new Ordinary Shares (the "Offer Shares") at a price of 3 pence per Offer Share pursuant to the Offer, resulting in gross proceeds received under the Offer of GBP3.8 million (approximately AUD6.9 million).

Accordingly, pursuant to the Placing, Subscriptions and Offer, the Company has raised gross proceeds of GBP31.57 million. The Placing, Subscriptions and Offer remain conditional on admission of the Placing Shares and Subscription Shares becoming effective at 8.00 a.m. on 24 April 2019 ("Admission").

Total Voting Rights

Application has been made for a total of 1,052,402,416 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on 24 April 2019. With effect from Admission, the total issued share capital of the Group will be 3,365,214,334 Ordinary Shares with no Ordinary Shares held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Group will be 3,365,214,334 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in Seeing Machines.

Ken Kroeger, CEO of Seeing Machines, said:

"We are very pleased with the continued support of our shareholders. The automotive and fleet sectors are increasingly recognising the risks posed by driver inattention and fatigue in single vehicles as well as across commercial and passenger transport.

"Our industry leading driver monitoring technology, developed over many years, has been consistently validated through regulatory and government recommendations globally and with seven automotive OEM programs.

"These additional funds will be instrumental in ensuring that we are well placed to continue to leverage the market opportunities as they rapidly grow and evolve."

Should get a few within the next few days with regards to the placing subscription. Hopefully a few more RNS coming shortly before the end of June. Fingers crossed after the next couple of trading days the share price can make its move upwards.

So buy a Tesla and from next year you can add it to their network using an app. Then any random person can hire your car as a taxi. Oh and it'll be driverless.

Tesla is taking direct aim at Uber and Lyft with plans to roll out 1 million robo-taxis by next year

Usual suspects Nvidia and those words co pilot often used by us and Toyota and Volvo, zf and Xilinx working together,
Xilinx and us, us and everyone else.

Please don't ask that question. It's been asked and answered a million times before, and then followed by yet another drop in share price due to yet another poorly worded RNS. Ask it in 18 months once the majority of the negatives are out the way and no longer an option for Ken to mention anymore!

Xilinx Daimler
Mon 21:23
In June, German automaker Daimler announced that it would use Xilinx chips to run AI software in its cars. According to sources familiar with the matter, Google intends to integrate Xilinx chips into the Google Cloud data center.

So we don’t expect Nvidia to use intel for FPGAs either

Conclusively non exclusive
Mon 20:09
What is beginning to dawn on me after all these years is SEE dont go exclusive with anyone, they did with Takata (easy to say that was wrong in hindsight, but it got us GM).

So that's not just Tier One it's the chip company also. We all worked out a while ago that the Tier one is important but I think now it's the chip company that is more important. An OEM can generally pick and choose between multiple Tier Ones eg BMW, or have a Tier One for say reversing camera and a different Tier One for DMS , but I think the Chip company relationship is wider and deeper.

I'm not a techie but for me a chip company is Intel, Xilinx, NVIDIA, Renesas etc.

So for each of our wins we have a Chip company and a Tier One, some of our wins we provide our software to a chip company and for Fovio Chip wins that's via Xilinx

So I think it looks a bit like this, OEM- Chip Co- Tier One

GM - Intel - Joyson
Merc - ? - LGE
BMW - Intel - Aptiv, Conti
Ford - Veoneer - Xilinx
Byron- Veoneer - Xilinx
FCA - Aptiv - Xilinx
GM - Intel - Joyson.

My research points to NVIDIA for Volvo and VAG.

S2020

I'd agree if it's SEE in conjunction with Nvidia it's significant. At this point, I don't really see any other collaboration that meets the need. Nvidia has issues vis a vis power, SEE conveniently solve those problems, Nvidia's platform works and for some OEM's provides a ready made solution.

Win, win, win for everyone.

Red, I tend to agree re SEYE.

Its NVIDIA that excites me about this one, of course it will be nice to beat SEYE in their own backyard but a win with NVIDIA could be significant.
