Not sure that would go down too well.
I hope they tidy up after themselves, as SAV will do. Contribute, as Sav will do. Provide a lasting legacy, as SAV will do.
And yet what is more likely that there will be some sugary memories of a talking shop circus, that came and went, leaving little option for any with ambition to do anything but leave.
IB - Hell's Angels with axes, hammers and bike-chains might have more of the desired effect ?!
Free battery charging and brollies?
Wonder if SAV have anything up their sleeve planned to counteract negative exposure and coverage from this weekend's anti-mine demo event at Barroso ? Time will tell I guess.
Looks like it
Is our friend back again...
Helps answer one of the original local concerns regards lack of info and inclusion. Hopefully over the past months they will have seen the level of information available and this maybe far more detailed than wanted or needed, but shows that SAV are looking to be as transparent as they can be.
Knocking down another dominoe
To grow for SAV. Now part of a new EU initiative that shows their intentions of transparent environmental compliance to the highest levels....đź‘Ź

Not just Climaximo. The ACP is looking to promote longer term employment and not hand to mouth short gig economy contracts. Are they going to recognise the opportunity that is available?
Much like the rainbow banner of LGBTQ…..x25, not all strands agree with the objectives of the others but will any be prepared to counter group think.
I also note that Quercus look to champion court actions. That’s fair enough but at what stage do they accept any decision? Are there endless appeals on progressively finer points to stretch out and delay or would they accept and acknowledge anything positive that would be provided by the BLP. Talking of court cases, be it against Government or Savannah, one might hope to get the decisions ere long.
I wonder if any of the 'Urban Mobility by Bicycle' crowd would dare turn up on an e-bike.
Climaximo seem to be on our side to helkp with the removal of fossil fuels-which I am.
Extract from their website "There is a scientific and social consensus that stopping the climate crisis is the current priority. Yet the education system, judicial, legislative and social institutions and the media continue to act as if we are not facing humanity's greatest challenge. People need to be told the truth so that we can make informed and realistic decisions. All decisions, debates and news must be based on the current climate crisis."-exactly - so let us help getting rid of ICE cars in Europe!
Ha ha, maybe if any locals are on here they could pay a visit and feedback such info ?!
Be interesting to hear how the weekend goes....I hope they stick to their principles, so no phones (or anything that uses Li), no wood/oil burning fires, no meat from animals that produce large amounts of methane, no cars (ICE or EV), no removing water from source, no bottle water unless in a recycled produced container, all energy directly from Solar/Wind and used immediately (not stored), sound kept to below 55 decibels to the nearest house, etc.

Not quite the supposed purpose of the National Convention as the headline suggests as it is not a single focus but if they must meet somewhere, I suppose it’s a flag to dance round.
Looking at the organisers - “ The organisation of this latest meeting includes the Association for Combating Precarity – Inflexible Precarious Workers, Climáximo, Jobs for the Climate, Montalegre Com Vida, the Association for Urban Mobility by Bicycle (MUBi), OIKOS, Quercus, Sciaena, Último Recurso, XR Portugal and ZERO – Sustainable Earth”. I do wonder whether Urban Mobility by Bicycle will be looking for a grant from Savannah for cycle lanes around Boticas.
It will be interesting to hear about the weekend event and whether all the local residents enjoyed their scaled back version of Glastonbury. Meanwhile, will we see the new government break the political silence
@ Shareitup.
Plenty of EV's up my neck of the woods near Manchester too. They're becoming more and more commonplace. As you say, it's a reasonably new technology and will take time to become the norm. But seemingly getting there albeit slowly.
Momentum continues to build - hopefully! Lots of positive updates I hope are just around the corner. Even down in the backwater of Cornwall here, the number of EV charging points are rapidly growing, the number of EV's on the road are noticeable, and as prices continue to drop things will snowball just like flat screen TV's. OEM battery manufactures are going to require significant quantities of Li with a minimum Carbon footprint, the EU will impose massive fines if EV targets aren't met, exciting times.
26th Jan RNS
“ The resource infill drilling programme was designed to upgrade existing Indicated and Inferred resources at NOA, Reservatorio, Pinheiro and Grandao to both Measured and Indicated categories so that it can be used to define a maiden JORC (2012) compliant Reserve as part of the DFS study.”
26th Feb RNS - confirmation that Phse 1 drilling complete
12th March RNS - results from Pinheiro after slight delay.
That would imply that the drill results from NOA, Grandao and Reservatorio are likely to be very soon. If they are half as positive there should be some happy Easter Bunnies, and will make the numbers look ever better.
Something to look forward to after the break.
Happy Easter all....that's Q1 done and I'd say some decent progress made;
Interesting Drilling Results
Shortlisted Partners, now in DD with them
New Local Shareholder who seems to have ear to the ground
New Government appears to understand what is required to tap into EU funds for Portugal
Any press talk on Operation Influence has dropped links with MdB
59% SP rise in Q1
Let's see what Q2 can bring. I'm expecting resource upgrades, partner progress, more local/national engagement, some box ticking exercises to start/complete
Well, no RNS. No sustained buying throughout the day. Looked like it was set to peter out when someone (our new 5% holder perhaps?) pops in with a good sized bite just as people are packing away their pencils before sliding off.
May all you Easter Eggs be Lindt. Roll on April
The link with Lightsource BP is to be welcomed. BP have a major stake and they intend to fully take over.
In the Lightsource BP strategy it states a major move into energy storage of the electricity generated by the solar panels. Surely they took note of fellow winners Savannah Resources huge lithium mine ;-)
So, are we done for Easter?
Will we get a RNS tomorrow so we have a 4-5 day window to think about it and word to spread?
Are we going to see some sustained buy with many folk setting off early to beat the rush leaving the committed to help themselves.
Is it set to Peter out with nothing to write home about.
Whatever, stuff will happen when it happens
Totally agree.....I don't see the there's much free stock available. Those that got in recently have probably already taken a profit as we saw recently from that post a few weeks ago from Tiger.
Wonder how they are feeling now after being all out at about 2.20....ouch.
Pretty big 900k shares bought this morning.
I think there’s still some accumulation going on, Mexican stand off, so many of us have been here so long we aren’t giving up our stock on the cheap.
Think we will need a big RNS tomorrow to push through 5p mark Osaka, but having said that since quite leaky think we would have had big buys today if that was going to happen... we do seem to get a heads up on good news coming!
